I've driven by this place for years and finally got the chance to try it and WOW! Everything was AMAZING! The Salt and Pepper Prawns were huge! Korean BBQ Beef and Kimchi Fried Rice is a really large portion that is enough for two. What I was really surprised by was the complimentary Kimchi Popcorn so good! Will definitely be back to try more!

Very nice visit to Casa Sensei for a small lunch - next time I'll either make a point of visiting for brunch or focus on the sushi. Friendly staff here who are quick to serve and help you make a selection of the many tasty bites they have at Casa Sensei. I enjoyed my Shrimp Shumai and Pork Belly Bao immensely, as well as my yummy mocktail (my new "go to" when dining out). My server, Brian, was both attentive and proficient. The setting is dark and moody but the vibe is definitely chill. I would recommend coming here for brunch, lunch, or dinner. It's located on the super trendy Las Olas Boulevard and there's seating outside right off the small canal. Gracias, Casa Sensei! Hope to see you again soon...

Okay, yes! I randomly found this place while traveling from Miami and was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is nice, being on the water makes you truly get that Florida feel. We sat inside at it was dark. Made it hard to read the menu. The food was great! Im not a kimchi fan, but the popcorn with kimchi was surprisingly tasty. Im almost ashamed to say that I've never had crab Rangoon with real crabmeat. We ordered them twice because of how tasty they were. We also ordered three rolls but I can't remember the name of them. Mine had asparagus and shrimp and I would easily order it again. We celebrated an anniversary and they brought a cupcake with a sparkler, along with their cotton candy (loved the concept). The service was good as well. Someone from our party left their AirPods and I received a call shortly after, notifying me that the AirPods were left behind. I would highly suggest this restaurant. I, nor my guests live in the area, but we all said this would be a place to come back to.

This place is phenomenal and I highly recommend it!!We sat at the outdoor dock the atmosphere felt so romantic and peaceful. The servers were fun and polite, and the food was delicious, especially the octopus and pad Thai. We were also given complimentary snacks by our waiter which were incredibly delicious. The food was high quality, and the restaurant itself was in fact a scratch kitchen. To add on to that, there was a variety selection of Asian dishes for reasonable prices. Overall, my family and I had an amazing experience dining at Casa Sensei because of their amazing service, outstanding food, and such a wonderful outdoor seating.

We walked a lot and the kids were hungry so decided to eat here since we were in the area. Glad we tried it! Charred Octopus (5): The star of the show really. It was charred really nicely and moist at the same time. Even my wife who doesn't like seafood said she liked it! Eye of the Tiger Roll (4.5): Huge cut of high quality tuna. If you like tuna, this is a must try. Picanha à la Parilla (3): It was good but not great. Really just a standard cut. Not too special IMO. Pad Thai w Beef (2.5): This was overly sweet. Generally the kids gravitate towards sweet things, but this was a little too much. I was the only one eating this one. Kung fu Lo mein with shrimp (4): Great noodle dish! Good flavor. Shrimp went well with this one. The service was a little odd. The bartender and the waiter both sort of tag teamed our table so there wasn't much consistency. Even their recommendations contradicted each other. The menu labels of favorite and specialty was a little confusing too. Like, what are you trying to communicate here? Your specialties are not favorites? Overall, some hits and misses. Definitely a decent spot to check out. I'd say a 3.5 joint.

Absolutely great food and even better service at Casa Sensei. Was recommended by a friend for brunch and couldn't have been better. The ENTIRE menu is so good it really is hard to just order one thing. I ordered the brunch wagyu burger and was VERY good. They do offer outdoor seating right by the water. All in all a good spot in Las Olas. Make sure to check it out.

Overall this place is very nice and boasts a cozy atmosphere. It was a rainy day so I will comeback to sit outside by the water. I'd also love to try their little boat cruise! The food, while delicious, could've been more. The portions are very small for the price you're paying. A tad disappointed in how incredibly small the shrimp sumai was, but they were flavorful. The Hamachi Katana roll was insanely good and I highly recommend you order that if you're a sushi lover. Our server was attentive and delightful.

What an amazing brunch spot truly! My gosh everything was absolutely delicious and so so fresh. Leo was our server and he was so attentive and truly made excellent recommendations on what to eat. The vibes here are awesome and prob amazing for night time dinner as well.

They start you off with stale popcorn with kimchi butter on it and then tell you how it's a scratch kitchen. The sushi was okay. Was not the melt in your mouth experience you get at top tier places. My girlfriend got the sesame chicken and she was asked the ultimate question: would it have been better at Panda Express. The answer, yes. Not great considering the price point. The cotton candy is cool but random. It tasted like bubblegum. Everything pictured was 72 dollars without the tip and I'm pretty sure the green tea bag I ordered with hot water was 10 dollars. Not worth the price. Ambiance wise it's on the water and it is pretty to look out. A little disappointed. I had high expectations for the sushi.

Came here today, and I'm not sure what has happened recently with this place but the service was a 0/10. They sat us on a table then said we had to switch tables since the high chair would be a fire hazard. It took them an hour to find another table- all while i had to hold my toddler. When the table was set, i had to ask for us to switch- I'm not sure if they assumed we would take the plates of food and move on our own? They forgot to give us the complimentary popcorn which was fine but when i mentioned it the server tried blaming someone else for not getting it. I asked for a to go order of cashew chicken for when we leave- they got it out before the food we ordered. We also asked for eel sauce and spicy mayo multiple times for them to finally get it for us. When doing the booking i had indicated it was for a birthday- i called the make sure they were aware it was for a birthday. They didn't remember the birthday and it was at that point where i didn't think it was even worth mentioning. They have a 20% tip included and it feels like the servers do not care to give good service as the tip is already included. The food was absolutely amazing- highly recommend the skirt steak. But would not come back or recommend for anyone to go with the horrible service.

I'm in town visiting the foodie bff and we need a quick bite and want to catch up. Casa Sensei was perfect... The contemporary Asian Japanese decor made for a great dining ambiance vibe inside. The showcased bar was attractive with great lighting showcasing the fully stocked bar. Definite focus on the Japanese whiskey. We hung out there for cocktails after dinner and the bartender was fantastic. Friendly and made some great martinis. For our quick bite sit down, we dined outside at the tables by the canal. This is a great dining ambiance that I don't get to see in Vegas. Our server Lauren was fantastic. She was super friendly and checked on us throughout. Pear Bourbon Smash - tasty cocktail that was creative with the pear vibe. Charred Octopus - prepped perfectly = yum Truffle Butter Crunch = Truffle peeps like us, just order it now Eye of the Tiger - good times, and a heavy roll. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely swing by again and this time shoot to sample more of the full sized savory dishes. Hopefully that's sooner versus later. Cheers!

I asked the server how long they have been open and he said 8 months but I see Yelp pics and reviews dating back at least 3 years. Someone must have told him the wrong information but no matter, we are just glad we finally found it. We went with the classic Shoyu Ramen with nishu beef and black garlic. I was over the moon when they touted a 12 hour chicken broth soup base. Every ramen shop I have tried to get ramen from has a pork based broth which I do not eat. I'm finally able to have ramen and boy it did not disappoint. The noodles were perfectly al dente and had a satisfying chew with every bite. The broth was so flavorful with the bamboo shoots, bean sprouts and all the slow cooked fats and oil from the chicken broth and the nishu beef, which was tender, thinly sliced rib-eye meat, I suspect. All this topped off with a perfectly cooked soy marinated egg. What an amazing flavor combination. The takoyaki appetizer was also delicious. Biting into the crispy exterior, you are then met with a soft and tender interior filled with chunks of octopus. The balls sat atop Japanese mayo and was drizzled with delicious takoyaki sauce. All it was missing was the katsuobushi which would have elevated the takoyaki flavor. We also ordered the Mala Shrimp which was on the Chinese menu and did not come with rice. That had to be ordered separately. Food came out quick as we were the only patrons apart from another table outside and service was good until a large party sauntered in and the server became inundated with requests. All in all, we will definitely be back to try out other menu items.

We actually ate there twice, with one of the nights being a themed "pirate" night, which is where all the dishes I photographed are from. While everywhere I was able to dine on the ship was outstanding, this was actually my least favorite of the many. That being said, it was still outstanding. We also retained the same amazing staff every single night we dined, and they continued to be absolutely top notch. What I really enjoyed about the Animator's Palate that the other locations didn't have was the dynamism during the meal. This is what really made it stand apart from the other venues and made it a place that is certainly not to be missed. During our first evening at the restaurant, the colors within the place star to fill in, beginning as simple white and grey line drawings of classic Disney character and scenes. They gradually fill with color until the whole restaurant is vibrant and lush, bringing with it Mickey and a bunch of other characters. Right before dessert they all come in to song and dance and really set the meal here apart from anywhere else on the ship. Bottom line is that just like everywhere else we experienced on the Disney Magic, Animator's Palate was outstanding. While not the best of them all, it was still great, and easily outclassed the rest in the amazing space and showmanship of the transformation during dinner. Again, as I have said for Lumiere's, this is not a spot to be missed if you are lucky enough to get to spend a trip on board the Magic for any period of time!

This is absolutely going to be a part of our rotation for top asian-fusion eats in Fort Lauderdale. Our group of 4 was quite impressed - from the warm service (shout out to Chino), beautifully plated dishes, to the flavors that hit every note from comfort to creativity. In fact, our female friend actually said while most asian restaurants we've introduced them to were very good, this place is by far the BEST of all! We started with 2 orders of grilled chicken skewers - perfectly charred, tender, and lightly sweet from the marinade, that came with a bright cucumber-tomato salad and the creamy peanut sauce that tied everything together. The Bangkok Wings topped with crunchy onions was a standout--so juicy inside. The Tom Kha soup with chicken was comfort in a bowl. Velvety coconut broth, mildly spicy with fresh herbs and mushrooms that soaked up all that flavor. For mains, the Mixed Seafood Pad Thai was just out-of-this world! That was super delish - it had the classic balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. Loved the thin, glossy and well-coated rice noodles. The Dynamite mussels was innovative. Creamy, lightly torched, topped with crispy tempura flakes, and beautifully presented. Loved the different textures in each bite. We also ordered a Four Seasons Specialty Roll which came with shrimp tempura, salmon, tuna and some type of white fish with asparagus and eel sauce. Yummo! The menu is huge and we will definitely be back to try more items. Check them out - absolutely worth a visit.
