We ended up going there after we were scheduled to go to Nube but couldn't get in because they do not accept kids and we didn't know whatsoever. Ambiance: [[HIGHLIGHT]]The view is nice, it is by the beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They kept the door open and we were sitting by the door so the heat was coming but overall nice ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Music was decent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food: Food is okay, nothing to go crazy about. The bang bang shrimp (is not pictured) but it was not that good. The tuna crispy cakes was actually fresh and good. The sushi was okay nothing to be impressed about, i had the S3 roll. The salmon part was good though. Drinks: I had the passion fruit drink and it was described as a sweet drink but i don't think it was that sweet, we added simple syrup, it was a good and strong drink. Price: We had 3 drinks, bang bang shrimp, 2 tuna crispy tartare, 2 sushi and a wagyu steak with fries with a side of truffle fries. It was definitely a lot of food, but for the flavor we felt as though it wasn't worth the cost. Our total came out to be $240 so about 80 per person it was the three of us.

My daughters opted for avocado toast and a spicy tuna roll. Winner we all loved was a bag of donuts! So fresh and almost melted in your mouth. I highly recommend. Menu was a bit confusing to offer things like sushi and donuts but we enjoyed the meal and our server was attentive.
Came with a friend earlier in the week to try out the happy hour here, and we had an amazing time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The weather was perfect, and it wasn't too busy so we were able to enjoy the fire pit area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] WHAT WE ORDERED : Korean fried chicken bites, bang bang shrimp, dragon roll + 3 happy hour cocktails. Our bill was about $67 plus tip and it was definitely worth it! One of the better happy hours I've been to out in Ft. Lauderdale.
My children took me here for Mother's Day today and what a lovely time we had . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great atmosphere and the service was excellent very warm , welcoming, kind people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server Zoey was excellent . We did brunch and it was delicious. A great way to brunch on Mother's Day .

All the items were delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The crowd was lively.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And the service was phenomenal with the server staggering our food orders. This is a must go to spot right off the beach and A1A.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere felt a bit more upscale for our casual attire, but beachside nice casual attire is permitted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The sushi was amazing, be sure to start with the hummus (so much flavor!) and the Korean chicken appetizer. My salmon bowl was perfect and the chicken and shrimp stir fry was the perfect amount for a hungry teen. Shrimp tempura roll was packed with flavor and regret not getting a second. Will definitely go back. Service was fast and awesome.
Came here late in the evening since they stay open pretty late. The restaurant has a very romantic atmosphere and the outdoor fire pit is a nice touch that keeps the patio warm. It's a good spot for a girls night out or a date night. The sushi and omakase felt very overpriced for what you get. We did order two pieces of wagyu and toro nigiri, which were good, but overall the sushi pricing didn't really match the value. Here's everything else we ordered: Salmon Crispy Rice - Very good. Crunchy and topped with jalapeño. I liked it. Grilled Octopus - A few pieces of octopus that were tender, but it was barely charred. The plate was mostly fava beans... Zulu Pork Ribs - Fall off the bone tender. Flavorful and actually pretty filling. Chilean Sea Bass - Flaky but bland. This was the most disappointing dish. For $49, I've definitely had much better. Not worth it in my opinion.
This is a great sushi spot right on the beach. The location is hard to beat. Service is fast and friendly, making it perfect for a sunset dinner on a Thursday night. Jinan took great care of us! The cocktails were excellent. We had the Mamasita and the Smoke Signal Old Fashioned, and the menu offers a solid selection of sushi. We started with the Tuna Crispy Rice, and then I ordered the Neo Tokyo and the Angry Hamachi, and my boyfriend had the Lucky Roll and the Surf and Turf Roll. Prices are fair considering the quality and the beachside setting (about $105 per person). Overall, it's a relaxed and enjoyable spot, worth a visit if you're in the area.
One of the best restaurants I've tried on the Ft Lauderdale coast. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for solid Asian fusion. The happy hour deals are great as well. Would come back here for the food, vibes, and service.
S3 was absolutely marvelous. The atmosphere was really nice we sat outside, and the heaters made it cozy and comfortable. We started with the hamachi tiradito, which was incredible; the hamachi literally melted in your mouth like butter. We also ordered the S3 sushi roll, and it was delicious, with the perfect combination of salmon and steak. Our server was very nice and friendly. For dinner, we went with the skirt steak since they were out of the filet, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Everything from start to finish was great, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. I would absolutely love to go back and try more dishes.
We had the best tuna crispy rice cakes ever. The spicy tuna was absolutely delicious. We also very much enjoyed the Hamachi Tiradito! Cool look inside.
Wow wow wow best brunch!!! Amazing ocean views, delicious food, amazing service, bottomless mimosas!! I came here with my friend and we had an amazing time! The service was absolutely phenomenal!! When you order bottomless, they bring a bottle of champagne and juice to your table which I love. The burrata appetizer was INCREDIBLE I'm telling you it was the most delicious thing I've ever tasted. Get it!!!!! The steak bowl was just ok... the flavors and everything included was delicious, but the steak was over cooked and tasted off. The onion rings were underwhelming, not a lot of flavor but crispy. The donuts for dessert were delicious!! 10/10 recommend!!!
Our server Bri was phenomenal! So my husband drank an incredible old fashion , I only drank water so she gave me Mint water !!!! Come on how awesome is that !?! Then the food Octopus so perfect I want to move down here to eat here constantly. The empanadas , the onion rings The service, The vibes All stellar ! Five stars all the way !

My wife surprised me by taking me to S3 in Fort Lauderdale for my birthday, and it turned out to be a beautiful surprise. We went for brunch, and the first thing you notice is the view. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The beach is right across the street, and there's something pretty special about sitting down to eat while the ocean is putting on a show just outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with the goat cheese croquettes. They were good, but I wouldn't say they changed my life or caused me to immediately start planning a return trip around them. The poke bowl, on the other hand, was delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly the kind of meal that works when you're sitting near the beach and trying to convince yourself that you're having a healthy brunch. My wife's brunch was also good, and the entire experience was enjoyable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]S3 is a great spot to eat, have a drink, or simply get lost in the view for a while. The food was good, the setting is beautiful, and the location is hard to beat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Four stars. A solid four stars, but not quite five. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Whether you're sitting inside or out, you'll have a beautiful view of the Fort Lauderdale beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outdoor seating includes lounges, a fire pit for late nights and a DJ. Very beachy vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself has a rustic elegant charm. Lots of wood and yellow lighting, creating the perfect ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I must mention their espresso martini. I requested mine to be made with tequila and OMG, it was perfection. We ordered a few appetizers and entrees to share. Food was fantastic. The ample portions of the servings were perfect for sharing. Some of our favorites included the duck onion rings, shrimp tacos with yucca fries, the neo tokyo roll, and burrata. We were celebrating two birthdays. Our waitress Vanessa G surprised us with a complimentary dessert. Soft and warm freshly made donuts with a variety of dipping sauces was the perfect ending to our meal. read more

Came here with colleagues for a bit of a nicer dinner, such a fun, elegant spot. The bar by the beach is lovely, albeit windy, and the booths inside are nicely sized for a small group. Fire pits outside are nice too. The waiter was SO knowledgeable about all the items on the menu and made great recommendations for delicious picks, helping gauge if we'd ordered enough, and having a good sense of humor too. read more

I was fortunate enough to have dined at the sushi bar, traveling solo, in a busy Saturday night and had my omakase meal made by Michelin sushi Chef Pham. I asked if he recommend the surf & turf and another nigiri or the omakase. He said omakase. Asked him which one, nigiri (for $3 more) because it had more flavor. And wow was it one of the best sushi meals to date. The staff knew what every single piece was and how it was flavored, and you eat it from light fish to dark, ending with wagyu. He came from SF 2 years ago and is now responsible for all 11 restaurants in the family. Was great to sit at the sushi counter to chat with him. What a treat, truly. The staff was extremely attentive and superb. I did start with the edamame which was good but not to my flavor palette. Too spicy for me, and a bit too soft. I ordered the bag of donuts of course and they were great. Took 5 out of 7 to go because they said it stays well the next day! Get the omakase box. $68 is very fairly priced made by Chef Pham (at least that evening, I got lucky). Get a reservation. It's busy, with plenty of seating. There's outdoor seating and a circular bar at the entrance. read more

Happy hour is a must! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walking distance from our vacation spot and views of the beach are unmatched.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outside bar is on the corner, so the cross breeze on a hot summer day was exactly what we needed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We enjoyed our conversation with the bartenders, the locals, and the happy hour menu. Always a good time at S3 The music is perfect the ambiance and service is always good and the food is delicious. We went after our hockey game and had a great time I even had some New Yorkers say wow. The edamame is delicious and highly recommended the burrata we had to get two plates of this app although the last time I was there the tomato was more fresh and crispy...The octopus is delicious but honestly it was too much bean and not enough octopus (it felt like the beans overpowered the octopus). The spicy tuna crispy rice was warm when it came out and had a great spice level. The dynamite roll was amazing and the salmon poke bowl was incredible. If you want great food and good vibes definitely go here. read more
Happy Hour at S3 is a must. The customer service was great. The food was delicious and came out quickly. The drinks were the cherry on top of a great experience. We visited in a rainy day and were unable to sit at the bar for happy hour. The manager was very accommodating and we were able to sit on the side away from the rain and still participate in happy hour. Our server was very patient and engaging. We definitely went with her recommendations on drinks (not pictured sadly). We will be back to try the regular menu and definitely happy hour. read more

Fort Lauderdale-WOWZA!!! This place sits right on the corner of one of the best views! We had the ocean right in our face the entire time. Loved it! It was raining, and our waitress asked us if we would like to sit outside. We happily said yes. The weather was just a little bit of a pain, and the wind had really come up, but the view could not be beat. We had a non-alcoholic, Sun-kissed Sipper, and a Hibiscus Kiss cocktail. Both were phenomenal. Our waitress recommended that we try the goat cheese balls. They were cooked perfectly and had a delicious guava jelly to dip. We had the Tuna poke plate along with a Lucky sushi roll. There is a very interesting tasting leaf in the Lucky roll. It's called madai. The waitress let me taste this leaf before I ordered my roll. It is an interesting combination between mint, spicy, cilantro, cumin, and possibly soap!!! lol You need to try it before you order, because some people do not like this item. I thought it was tasty! Presentation was really beautiful and the food tasted fresh and delicious. Definitely a spot to hang out, have drinks, and enjoy some delicious food on a beautiful sunny day. We will be back when the weather is better so we can enjoy the outdoor area to the fullest! read more

One of my favorite restaurants across the Ft Lauderdale beach. Service is very good. The food is excellent . The Dragon roll- fresh and good Sea bass Special- omg, melt in your mouth. So tender, with a nice crust on the outside. It was so delicious and delicate. Very flavorful. The Farrotto was very good as well. Korean Fried Chicken - Very flavorful, they were small bites, but very tasty. Very good. Lamb- was good, nice flavor. Not overpowering Highly recommend. read more

Came here for a bachelor party dinner, and it was outstanding. With beach views, and the open kitchen concept makes this also a great date night spot! Aesthetic & Ambience: 8.5/10 a bit more on the fun modern side. Lot of unique designs with plenty of seating at the bar. Ambiance is a 8/10 its quiet, but can kick up volume quickly. Service: 9/10 our server was amazing, unfortunately I can't remember their name, but they was awesome and even recommended my favorite cocktail which isn't even listed on the menu. They also recommended the Chilean sea bass, and it was a good pick. Korean fried chicken: 8.5/10 chicken thighs fried and coated with a gochujang sauce. It's not spicy. Grilled Caesar: 9/10 very delicious and light. I rarely find grilled salads, but this one had edamame and a freshly shaved parmesan. Goat cheese croquettes: 8.5/10 it was really good, however goat cheese does have a bit stronger of a flavor profile, but the guava sweetness was perfect combo. Chilean sea bass: 8/10 pretty good, was a bit more on the dry side with the sear on the top. There's no skin, and it's deboned! read more

I trusted Karen and went along for the ride. I live sushi, but Karen doesn't. She said they are known for their sushi. She was right. The service was fast and our waiter suggested items that I would not have gotten. Indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor seating is impressive as you have views of the ocean. read more
Phenomenal!! We hosted my graduation dinner here at S3, for a party of 20, and everyone had a fantastic time! Let's talk about the atmosphere first. Ambiance was fantastic, we were seated at a large combined table with ample space. Lighting was great and we loved the excellent service by our wait staff team. The menu was pre-selected and the wait staff did a phenomenal job timing the arrival of food such that we had ample time to enjoy our drinks and chat prior to digging in. We first had the edamame and korean fried chicken, followed by some salmon, grilled octopus, one of the best churascco steak I've ever had, shrimp noodles, and to close it out, a delicious, velvety soft double chocolate cake. I would highly recommend S3 to my family and friends without any hesitation. They are a great place to host celebratory dinners!! read more

The ambiance was nice, but the chair-to-table ratio didn't really help -- I felt like I was sinking into the cushion while trying to eat. The food overall was good. My man ordered his steak medium-well and it came out closer to well-done, but it was charred perfectly so the flavor was still great. My branzino was just okay on its own, but when paired with the steak it was actually delicious. The Korean fried chicken was wonderful. Overall, the experience was decent. I just wish the presentation of my fish plate had been a little more polished. I work in hospitality and often refer people to different spots, so details like presentation really stand out to me. Drinks- bartender is heavy handed with the citrus in the passion paradise drink and the mamasita. I had the sand drink which was good and a patron margarita that was really sweat. read more

Great location across from the beach. Very nice outdoor area to relax or sit properly at a table. Service was good and fast. The food is good as well, about middle ground. The cocktails use a mix of fresh juices such as passion fruit or mango. read more

What are the best parking options?
There is street parking to the West. I believe the road is Breakers Ave.
Would this be a good place for a dinner party, celebrating a 25th birthday? We want fancy and yummy, but fun.?
It's on the beach so wouldn't consider it fancy. But you can dress up in the evening and have a great time. Food and drinks are great!
Do they charge corkage? I found out. It's $20 and the wine cannot be on their menu.
Probably, they charge for everything else.
