    Mango with tuna

Our cruise ship had a stop in Ft. Lauderdale and I was craving some sushi. I found Tokyo Sushi on yelp which was in walking distance and decided to try it. The staff were awesome and Hara our server was friendly and very welcoming. We ordered edamame, crispy rice with spicy tuna for starters. We also had the Red Dragon roll, mango roll and my son was able to order his favorite roll that wasn't even on the menu. Everything was delicious and I think we ate every bite. If we come back to Ft. Lauderdale we will definitely go to Tokyo Sushi again!

Very kind and delicious experience. They started us with a tiny plate of salted edamame (same as the other tables) We got the salmon and tuna poke bowl lunch special $20, shrimp bento box lunch special $19, and a shrimp roll $10 between 3 of us. The salad was unique that it had mango and raspberries with the green mix and a tangy dressing. Saving the raspberries for last was a nice palate cleanser. 3 fried shrimps, fried rice, 8 salmon maki, salad, and miso soup. It's not busy, only two other tables were seated at the same time as us. Soft music plays in the background but not loud as we can still talk. The waitress was kind and gave us wifi details, accommodated for our child.

Came here once again and never disappoints. chef Randy + Michael & staff = 10/10 service. The food was phenomenal!!!! Cher Randy always comes up with different twists to his omakase and it definitely is worth every single penny. The ambiance and everything was up to par. I will definitely come back again. This was yet again the best omakase experience I've ever had.

This was such a beautiful little hidden gem with a wonderful sushi chef curating the Omakase experience. I've been to many Omakase bad sadly I'm regards to my own preferences the pieces weren't very special. Although the chef was kind and knowledgeable all the pieces had the exact same toppings which didn't really elevate the nigiri at all. It was hard to find a favorite piece cause they all tasted the same and fishy. The pieces were also so big and such a mouthful which I believe nigiri should not be so you can better taste and enjoy the flavors.

This place is super cute and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We really enjoyed the sake we had to start. The gyoza was delicious and a perfect start. We tried the vegan sushi next which was good but a little miscommunication on what came in it. The husband enjoyed the tuna sushi and another one as well. I tried the chicken ramen which randomly tasted like chicken fajita ramen. Which was still tasty just not what I expected I do recommend coming here it's nice and enjoyable.

Very nice and clean, looking restaurant disappointed with no salmon skin handle roll or sashimi platter options. I think they have a lot of potential.

I door dash this place and when I got my order immediately knew something was off. I have had manly salmon nigiri from other restaurants non of which looked, felts or smelt like this. It's slimy, smells rotten, there was no fish smell to it at all and the color was off. I had to throw away my food after waiting for an hour for it. I even asked chat gpt to make sure I was right and it even said it was not fresh and to not eat it! If I get food poisoning I know what it was from.

New Spot! Love this place Cute warm spot located in a great area in Ft.Lauderdale. The service, the food and the location were all outstanding. Plenty of spacious parking which is always a huge deal for me. If it's complicated.... I'm not going. I went for a late lunch and was seated right away. The waiter was very attentive and kind. I had some questions and he provided a thorough explanation. The food came out right away. Lately I have been on a small mission to try out Tuna Tartare in different restaurants I try out. So I ordered it and I am so happy I did! It was delicious. The tuna looked so vibrant and fresh. The sushi rolls were delicious. I also ordered Nigiri for the first time. I had been dying to try it. I am also glad I did that as well. I will be ordering this every time I have sushi from now on. Order: Tuna Tartare: sooooo good Nigiri: Tuna: sooo yummmyy Signature Sushi Roll: Mashi Mashi Roll Fully recommend! Must try! Sushi roll: Spicy Tuna Roll Soooooo yummmmyyy My favy I didn't get dessert because I was so full Overall, the experience was great! If you are in the area be sure to stop by.

My new favorite sushi spot in Fort Lauderdale! Everything is so fresh and the service was amazing. I used to go to this place years ago. It gained new owners that completely revamped. The design of the places and cute sake cups they let you hand select are adorable. I cannot wait to come back here. Tuna lover roll has been on my mind since. Thank you for the great experience!

Hands down the best experience I had with Omakase all thanks to Chef Randy who made it phenomenal!! It's located in Ft.Lauderdale in a small plaza. We had a reservation for 3 for a birthday celebration. We got seated right away. The ambiance was nice and the interior was very warm and welcoming. Staff members were quick and attentive service was absolutely amazing Food was very delicious !! Each piece carried its own unique taste and quite exquisite! Fresh and lingers in your mouth. I would highly recommend this place and specifically ask for Chef Randy !! I will be returning. Keep up the great work !

A new manager has taken over this restaurant and it's for the best. The fish is flown in from Japan and California and you can tell. It's so fresh and melts in your mouth! Everything we ordered was really good but the rock and roll sushi was a fan favorite - spicy tuna topped with a piece of shrimp tempura. We also ordered the crab roll, eel / avocado roll and the salmon / avocado roll. You cannot go wrong with any sort of sushi here! They also brought out some complimentary appetizers that were delicious!

Absolutely scrumptious sushi. After we went for ice cream at Razzleberry's for ice cream, my husband decided he wanted sushi. This is next door to Razzleberry's. We were greeted by the lovely hostess Dacha and talked with manager Michael. Very very friendly. We sat at the bar and ordered a surf and turf roll and Snow Crab Roll and ordered fried rice. Will definitely be back!!!

I asked the server how long they have been open and he said 8 months but I see Yelp pics and reviews dating back at least 3 years. Someone must have told him the wrong information but no matter, we are just glad we finally found it. We went with the classic Shoyu Ramen with nishu beef and black garlic. I was over the moon when they touted a 12 hour chicken broth soup base. Every ramen shop I have tried to get ramen from has a pork based broth which I do not eat. I'm finally able to have ramen and boy it did not disappoint. The noodles were perfectly al dente and had a satisfying chew with every bite. The broth was so flavorful with the bamboo shoots, bean sprouts and all the slow cooked fats and oil from the chicken broth and the nishu beef, which was tender, thinly sliced rib-eye meat, I suspect. All this topped off with a perfectly cooked soy marinated egg. What an amazing flavor combination. The takoyaki appetizer was also delicious. Biting into the crispy exterior, you are then met with a soft and tender interior filled with chunks of octopus. The balls sat atop Japanese mayo and was drizzled with delicious takoyaki sauce. All it was missing was the katsuobushi which would have elevated the takoyaki flavor. We also ordered the Mala Shrimp which was on the Chinese menu and did not come with rice. That had to be ordered separately. Food came out quick as we were the only patrons apart from another table outside and service was good until a large party sauntered in and the server became inundated with requests. All in all, we will definitely be back to try out other menu items.

To start, we ordered a Pearl Bourbon Smash and a Dragon Margarita. The Bourbon Smash was so good that we ordered a second one. The Margarita wasn't my favorite, but I finished it and followed it up with a Sensei Old Fashioned. For our entrees, we ordered the Korean BBQ Bulgogi and the Korean Steak Chimicurri (spelled that way on the menu, so I'm not sure if it was intentional). The Bulgogi portion was generous, and we really wanted to love it, but unfortunately the meat arrived cold. That was disappointing, especially after being told that everything is made from scratch. My husband's entree was served about 10 minutes before mine, which wasn't ideal. Generally, guests dining together should be served at the same time. I encouraged him to start eating so his meal wouldn't get cold, but unfortunately it already was. My steak arrived hot and was cooked slightly more than the medium temperature I requested, leaning closer to medium-well. Despite that, I still enjoyed it. It was served with jasmine rice and maduros, which complemented the dish nicely. Overall, we had a lovely dining experience. The waterfront setting, pleasant service, and enjoyable cocktails made for a great outing. We would definitely consider returning, especially to combine dinner with one of the boat tours.
