    Drunken noodles!

Good service, tasty noodles, generous portions. I highly recommend this for your Thai fix.

I hate days like today... food wasn't even close to what I wanted.... it could be end of a long day or a number of other factors that I know nothing about! They are worth my time to try another time but today was a busy! Still $9 to know for sure if it's good or not for myself! Small price to pay and one I'll repeat because no one wants to be judged by one thing... one time.... one anything you need to put there. Other people are human and their shitty lives do bleed into their passion! Anyone with a food truck has passion! The little guy has no other option than to have passion! Everything was soggy, not a lot of flavor and other than being very hot wasn't really spicy... I hate giving bad feedback but it was my experience. I read where others had good ones so I'll try again

Came to The Yard hungry for Indian food...but that food truck was having a coffee break. Instead tried Asian place. Today's special was Yakisoba. Came with onions, which I usually avoid but gave it a try with optimal chicken included in the stir fry for a protein. Was delicious! Ready in 5 min. Hot and tasty. Didn't even taste the onions.

By the time I st a feed eating the noodles soaked up the flavorless broth and was mushy.

Thai food is kind of a hit in miss in salem and this food truck is whatever. I ordered their noodle soup which is basically a flavorless pho with thinly slice chicken breast meat. Standard in Thai food for some reason to serve overcooked chicken. The broth had no flavor just water and noodles that soaked up everything turning into mush... they need to put less noodle so its not a hot mess.. also ordered their fried rice that was soggy/mushy, but the flavor is ok. Their meat option is either tofu or chicken...

We love this place! They are friendly & always willing to make changes, no problem. The food is good & plentiful! We stop by fairly often & will continue to do so!

Yellow chicken curry with steamed jasmine rice.

Best chicken curry I've tried yet. Very flavorful with a variety of spices and ingredients. I got the spicy curry and it made me sweat, might have to start with mild and work my way up. Comes with steamed jasmine rice. I will definitely be coming back.

I'm sorry but their food is gross, over cooked sour mush.. and they're incredibly rude

Wanted to support an asian small business but boy do I regret my decision. Ordered pad thai because how can you get the most basic dish wrong, right? I was so wrong. It is so sour and strangely saucy, like it's drenched in ketchup. Maybe they're from a part of Thailand where they make it sour. But I will not be going back again.

I didn't find a single carrot or onion, just a few small pieces of broccoli. Also, the chicken was way over cooked. Their best item is the mango stir fry, but get the vegetable one, their meats are always over cooked.

We were not disappointed. It is a small venue, clean and well maintained. The staff were hospitable and made helpful suggestions based on our flavor preferences. We ordered Tom Kha, Basil Eggplant with pork, and a ginger vegetable stirfry. We ordered all dishes with the least amount of chilies possible since my wife cannot eat them and I can add chilies from jars on the table. All the dishes were delicious, each uniquely seasoned and servings large enough to share. We ate our fill and still took home some of each. Yes, we'll be going back.

GETTING HERE:…read more (Traveling); Located next to Dollar Tree in Salem. Yelp has the address correct on the app. MOOD: Getting ready for green curry! Ready to grub hard. REVIEW: This was a NO-GO. So dissatisfied and disappointed in this experience! Food: I had ordered the Green Curry level 0. Had minimal flavor but/and was terribly over-watered down to meet my request of mild, hence the lack of flavor. I ordered brown rice that she forgot to bring out. 1/5 Mango Sticky Rice: It had OK flavor in the rice but mango wasn't ripe and was tough to cut. 1/5 Shrimp Pad Thai: My guest didn't enjoy it at all. 1/5 The chicken satay was OK, but my guest had to prepare - herself! - the lettuce wraps. She was served a wedge salad (the lettuce) and had to create the wrap herself. She said it was filled with salt. 1/5 Service: Oh. My. Rude. Unfriendly. Didn't smile. The language barrier was PROFOUND and it was very uncomfortable for our group. She didn't understand our questions and couldn't respond appropriately. It was horrible. Ambiance: It was clean inside and is painted purple inside. Interesting. I heard GREAT things about this place. So bummed. Eat here with caution. Hoped for better!

I have had a lot of bad Thai food and a lot of good Thai food and this was perfect and exactly what I hoped it would be. Family operated and locally owned. Love that. I see people complaining about the price and it's truly worth every penny plus tip! This food is FRESH and cooked to order. You get what you pay for when it comes to food and I am happy to pay for fresh food like this! They had many healthy options and this is authentic Thai. I think people forget that food trucks are restaurants too and so it takes time for your food to come out... it's worth the wait. I appreciate that the heat level was customizable on the papaya salad as well! Could definitely go up a spice level but was cautious because Thai spicy can be on another planet. So anywho... I would bathe in that tamarind sauce if they let me buy it by the vat. It was phenomenal. Im a fan! Can't wait to go back and try more things!

Big Blue Thai BBQ is everything that I could ever want from Thai food. Our main dish was the Grilled Pork and Papaya Salad combo and it was absolutely addicting. The beautiful smoke on the pork from the charcoal grill complemented perfectly with the spicy, tangy papaya salad adding so much freshness to the dish. While the food was amazing, the real star of the show were the lovely people that operate the truck. They were both so genuinely friendly and welcoming and made our experience exponentially better. We only wish that we had found this place sooner.
