We've order a few time from here for work lunches and I'm always happy with the results. Ginger chicken is fantastic, pad tai an and they were able to accommodate some food allergies as well. I've only had take out from here though so someone else can say what's it's like to eat here. But pick is very easy, people are very nice here and the food has been consistently delicious. read more

Quiet, clean dining room with friendly service. My order arrived quickly and was hot and delicious. I ordered Drunken Noodles with mild spice. They provided condiments to add spiciness to taste. The noodles were just right and the vegetables were al dente. I also ordered an order for carry-out for my husband. They delivered it with the check. I think we found another regular date night spot. The food was cooked to perfection and still nice warm when it arrived! You can taste the love put into this dish. So flavorful and fresh. If you love peanut sauce this is the dish for you! I don't like leaving bad reviews, but for those hoping for vegan food, they should know the truth. Not sure if they changed their menu or have a new cook, but the last couple times we've ordered our food hasn't been vegan, even tho we specifically requested it. About a month ago, I found a huge chunk of chicken in my green tofu curry--bit into it! I dug thru & found 6 more pieces, almost as much chicken as there was tofu.. It ruined our dinner/evening & we weren't planning to return, but last night I needed some fast food for the kids & me so gave them another shot. I'm sure you can imagine my disappointment when I took a bite of the garlic stirfry & it tasted very strongly of fish sauce. I was a pescatarian for many years & never noticed the fish sauce before... But now that I'm vegan, it tastes so strong and so horrible and I'm not sure why so many Thai restaurants use it in their recipes. It gives a salty, oiliness to otherwise delicious food that sticks out like a sore thumb when you don't eat it anymore. I pondered trying to eat it since I was hungry and rushed, but it just made me feel so sick. We used to love their food and eat there a few times a month but I don't think we can go back after the last two awful experiences :( read more

I always order to go and tip on all my to go orders. The last 3 times I've ordered have been wrong. Today I ordered the chicken pad Thai mild and when I got it home it was way too spicy. When I called , she told me that I ordered medium spicy!! I NEVER used the word spicy. Anyway , they remade the order that I had to drive again and this time they gave me old, dried out noodles!! I have been here at least 4 times with my family. I feel the food is amazing! Today I had the lettuce wraps and the pineapple fried rice. They have friendly staff and pretty quick service. It is a nice smaller place but I haven't ever had to wait long. The only thing I would say is that they don't have a children's menu or items catered to young children. read more

I ordered 2 chicken pad Thai entrees; one for my kids with no spice and another medium. I was very underwhelmed. The pictures look nothing like what I actually got. The taste was lack luster. I ordered Mango Paradise, which was good. I also ordered the Pumpkin Curry, which was DELICIOUS. I wish I would have gotten more white rice for our two entrees that were served with rice. I also asked for a large side of peanut sauce and unfortunately, got a very small container. Lastly, I ordered the salad rolls and deep fried rolls. Salad rolls were good. Visting Salem, and was jonesing for some Thai food, and Yelped and found Tup Tim Thai. Ordered to pickup and it was ready by the time I got there. It's in a very busy strip mall but a tight parking lot to get in and out of. Friendly, fast service (Just handing me the bag) I ordered the Basil chicken mild since I never know what hot is to new restaurants. It definitely could have used a kick to it, but it was good. Five stars in this class! Don't come here for the ambiance, unless the ambiance you seek is a simple, unpretentious, mom and pop strip mall gem. I was on business travel in Salem and decided to consult my trusted Yelp. Tup Tim had great reviews and now I see why. Service was great, like visiting a friend's house. Familiar, casual, kind, authentic, and friendly. The server Trerawan (aka Nong) is wonderful. The food? I ordered a Tom Yum Goong (shrimp) soup. Back in DC, we'd be lucky to get two shrimp in a tiny bowl. Here, it's a decent size, filled with fresh mushrooms and five (yes, 5) yummy shrimp. For dinner, I ordered the Pad Prik King (stir fried green beans with Kaffir lime leaves in a red chili paste) with Tofu (I am not vegetarian, but prefer the Tofu as it absorbs then deliciousness) and it did not disappoint. I finished the night overeating with mango sticky rice. Portions for main courses are also generous! I have another day in Salem and will be back here for lunch! read more

This has been a great restaurant in the past. I ordered out. I got home and there was hair in my food. I called them to tell them. They asked me if I wanted to come back in and order something else. I was a already home and I did not want to go out again. I wish they would have offered me a free meal at a later date. Extremely surprised because they have always been a great restaurant. I also looked at the score re being clean. I went in the other day to explain what happened above. I shared I was disappointed how my situation was dealt with. I shared I have been happy in the past. I was so rudely spoken to. There was nothing they could do. I will not be returning to ever eating here again. Is cooks hair in customer food unhealthy or treated unprofessionally . Do not go to this restaurant unless you want to be treated awful and get hair in your food. Shameful read more

IF I had received my order on time or within 10 or 15 minutes of the estimated delivery time it may have been good BUT...my estimated delivery was 7pm. My receipt showed my order was ready for pick up at 6:42 pm. My food was delivered around 7:40 pm cold chewy and not all that pleasing. What a delightful surprise! I live in Portland and suggested this place to my daughter and her friend as a good midpoint meeting spot between Portland and Corvallis. I had never been here before so I was happy that they exceeded our expectations. The crab Rangoon was "meh," but all the other dishes were outstanding. They got all the flavors right for the Mussamun Curry, Thai Basil, Padsee Ew, and the Green Curry. I'd say this place would be at the top of Portland Thai restaurants if it were in Portland. Service was excellent with very friendly staff and food came out at a reasonable time. Ambience was okay, very non-descriptive, but as long as the food was good, I don't care. Was there waiting for a bit after being seated. Instead of providing waters, etc we just sat there. It was long enough that my SO instead went next door to firehouse subs, ordered a sandwich, waited, ate a bag of chips, and walked back over before I even ordered my own food. I left as soon as my SO got back. I can't leave any stars because we didn't even get a chance to order. If we are paying 15 dollars for a bowl of soup then maybe pay more attention to potential customers. I'll give them one stars to not having any customer service. read more

Really great flavor on the dishes I've tried! Pad Thai isn't dry like some places and has really good flavor. The chicken potstickers are really crisp and not soggy at all! I've tried a couple of Thai food places in Salem and this has by far been the best! read more

Absolutely horrendous! Do not, I repeat DO. NOT. dine here! The food is dubious and questionable. One of my friends dishes legitimately smelled like a horse stall and came cold. The smell was so nauseating that even after leaving he said he felt like he was going to throw up and could still smell it. The bathrooms were in terrible shape and made a gas station bathroom look like a beauty salon. Black smears all over the floor and walls. The Mango Sticky rice was dry and the best way I can describe eating it was a chewy cracker. The coconut cream sauce was curdled as well. Stay far away from this "establishment". I wouldn't be surprised if they closed down for health code violations. read more

You must have heard, this place has won several awards for best thai food in Salem. I'll totally agree, the food is good. We ordered chicken chow mein, Panang curry which comes with a bowl of rice and crab fried rice. Their spice level is not as spicy as restaurants in California. My daughter loved the noodles. I felt the rice was sticky. They provide one of the best customer service. Loved it. The restaurant has interesting curry names like evil princess. Definitely recommend this restaurant. read more
