The best egg rolls I've ever had !!! Though the price doesn't seem accurate on the menu. The food here is really good! The Thai tea also very tasty. The service on the other hand, not that great . Every time we come we wait a while before they give us the check . They never come and check if we need anything else. Which most of the time they forget to give you something . I usually order for pick up. Calling ahead is a good idea for fast pick up. In my experience, orders are ready for pick up when they say it will be. Portions are generous and fresh tasting. The prices are also pretty good considering how much food they give you. Staff is also friendly and from what I've seen on initial surveillance of the restaurant, its kept clean. Hands down the best Thai food in the AV. The lady who runs the joint is a little nuts, but in an adorable "crazy Grandma" sort of way. Excellent curry, good Thai staples, and a gigantic Thai iced tea for about $3. The ambiance is a bit run down, so I don't know that I'd try to impress the in-laws here, but it's a great place to get a $10 lunch. read more

I was looking for a Thai food restaurant and found this one on Yelp and decided to try it out. I ordered the pad Thai and egg rolls over the phone and drove over to pick it up. Once I walked in, the staff was so sweet and attentive! They were genuinely so happy that I was there. The pad thai and egg rolls were really good! Thai Palms is a shady oasis in a desert. A desert full of fast food chain restaurants. What Palms lacks completely in curb appeal and ambiance it recovers ten fold in service and quality. Do not let the checkerboard diner floor or red seats fool you. I was a little shocked to find, debatably, the best pad Thai I've ever had in this Palmdale hole in the wall. Once again, My fellow Yelpers have not led me astray. The pineapple chicken rice was pretty incredible as well. Who I presume was the owner working the counter was cheerful, friendly and eager to please. While I was eating, some girl came in to make an order, asking a million questions. What kind of shrimp, where from, how they were cooked. Clearly didn't care she was causing a scene (at her own expense). After about 20 minutes of harassing the owner she got upset everything was not up to her standards (good luck with those) and stormed out, to everyone's relief inside. Through all this the owner kept a smiling face long after I would have told the girl to book it... Food service is sometimes a thankless job but that won't deter the staff here. Since visiting, I have much craved the food here and wish I could go back. Give this place a shot, you will leave with both some generous leftovers and a satisfied stomach. read more

This place has ok food, but they need to hire more help. The service is very slow. They only have one girl that runs the front for everything. I came for dine in and waited for a good 15mins for any help. If they want to do better they need to hire help. read more

I love Thai food and I try to eat good Thai food at least once a week. Yesterday I was invited to Thai palms restaurant by my friend who spoke very highly of them and I have to say he was right. The food was good and plenty. The shopping center and the restaurant are not very fancy looking but the food is high quality. We ordered orange chicken and Beef with broccoli also the coconut soup with chicken. We asked them to please make it mild and not too spicy. I wanted to order the green curry dish too but the portions were really large an I had no room left. The three dishes we ordered were properly done and served and were delicious.next time I will try the green curry with more pepper in it. read more

Fantastic & Surprising. Pulling up to the restaurant, honestly, I had my doubts but decided to go in to check it out. The restaurant is small and clean. I decided to go with the lunch special, red curry chicken & rice. I mentioned that I would like it spicy and the sweet server asked "what level? 1-10?" I went with 8- OMG perfectly spicy! The food came out quickly, the colors were amazing, bright red curry sauce, bright green (not overcooked) veggies, and the smell was amazing! The chicken was tender & tasty. I'm not usually big on egg rolls, but figured I'd give it a try- wasn't disappointed- very tasty, not greasy, tasted fresh also. Red chicken curry, rice, & an egg roll was $7.99 I believe- a great deal- I took half home for dinner- you get a lot. The service was outstanding. They were kind to all customers which ranged in all ages, shapes & colors, all were treated like family and made to feel welcome. You can tell that they have a lot of regulars, and I can see why. The only regret I had is that I've visited Palmdale for work dozens of times & this was the 1st time I tried this spot- definitely one of my faves now in town, you should totally come here! read more

This is my favorite place to get Thai food! I come here at least once a week, the pineapple shrimp curry is the best, it taste so fresh and the shrimp are big! I've tried all the curry and they are all amazing, be careful with the heat.. My favorite thing from the menu is the wonton soup, it's the best I've ever had! The service..... it's a small restaurant so they only have like 1-2 waiters, it takes a while for them to take your order but the food comes out pretty quick. The prices are very cheap for the amount of food if they give you, I always have left overs. I highly recommend trying this place out read more

My friends and I were super hungry for thai food and were in the area so we decided to pass by here. First of all, place doesn't look very food friendly. The owner seemed nice and friendly. Food was not that great, my pad thai tasted a little off and I didn't really enjoy it at all. My friend was stared down because she didn't want to take her food to go. I came across thai palms, and like the rice and sea food soup alot, but for the last three times I ordered orange chicken and they have given it to me half frozen, the old asian lady applies too much pressure to the poor cooks when it gets full of customers!
