Thai Palms Restaurant - Big like!!! - Thai Near Me - Palmdale, California

The shrimp fried rice is amazing it doesn't taste like regular dry or frozen rice it's definitely worth it see for your self

The food I ordered tasted like the ingredients were old. The pad Thai had a weird funky flavor (I love pad Thai, too!.. so it wasn't that I don't know what pad Thai tasted like) the egg rolls were doughy and premade tasting. The yellow curry was just ok. Pineapple fried rice was very curry flavored. Will not be going back. read more

I was a little suspect of this place because it looks ghetto, but the food was amazing! Very fresh, not greacy or loaded with sauce. I had the pineapple fried rice. read more

Came here and was not disappointed! I got Spicy red shrimp curry and WOW! It was sooo good! Glad I found my new Thai spot! :)

Food was not what I ordered. The egg roll that came with the food was soggy. The enrolls I ordered on the side were hot on the outside and cold on the inside. Food was not worth the price at all!! read more

Best place for Thai food in the area! My favorites are fried rice with crabs, yellow chicken curry, beef lab and sticky rice with mango (seasonal). Mama is a very nice lady. She speaks a little of Vietnamese too. Love this place! read more

Great "hole in the wall" restaurant! Just in town for a visit and found this place close by with good ratings so I thought we could check it out. We were greeted right away and seated immediately. There was a good enough flow of people to let you know the food is good. The rating from the health felt was A too. I got the tofu fried rice and being vegan asked for no fish sauce. The waitress was very knowledgeable and made sure to keep any oyster sauce or egg out of the dish as well. Good catch! My spouse was also very happy with the garlic chicken. It was very reasonable as well. Loved this place and will definitely stop by again when we're passing through! read more

I have been coming here off and on for several years now. I usually have take out for lunch as it is the closest Thai place to where I work. I call it in and it is always ready when I get there. I usually have the Green Pork Curry and it is excellent. The packaging for take out is done well so there are no problems driving back to work. Others have accurately described the parking and decor. The food is good and relatively cheap. read more

Beef Pad See Ew was so good!! Nice little hole in the wall place. Seemed to be a very popular place for lunch too! Not a lot of seating but had no issue getting a table. Definitely will recommend and be back again! read more

The food has always been pretty good. The yellow chicken curry is great. We always do take out though. Not really a spot you want to take the wifey for dinner... =) read more

Very very friendly service. Have driven past this place for the past 2 years and by the looks it was not intriguing! Finally decided to give it a try tonight and WoW!!! Lady was very friendly and polite, I asked for suggestions and she recommended a Spicy chicken soup (very spicy), orange chicken, beef pad see eew, shrip fried rice (the best), and the thai tea was really good. I've tried some good thai food around l.a and this place has very good food! read more

Best Thai food in the Antelope Valley! Lunch specials are a steal! I Recommend the chilly chicken with garlic or the green curry. Becareful of how spicy you order though I like my food Spicy and a 7 on a scale of 1-10 is too much for me id recommend a 6. Freshest ingredients and very friendly staff! My favorite lunch spot. read more

The best experience I've had from start to finish and the food was the best. This place is definitely a hidden jem. Came across this place by accident. Took an alternate route home from San Francisco due to heavy traffic and wanted a good place to eat. I just happen to turn my head in the right direction to find this great Thai restaurant. As soon as my friend and I walked in, we were greeted by this older lady. I'm assuming she was the owner by her demeanor. She was amazing. Right away she was asking us what we wanted to eat and before we could answer she just started suggesting dishes and kept on saying we'll love it. Just like a grandmother. She was right. From the soup to the noodles and a rice dish I've never had before and a chicken curry dish. Everything was amazing. If you're ever in the area you must stop by. You will not regret it. read more

When my colleague brought me here for lunch, I was a little hesitant at first since the restaurant does look a little rough around the edges. After trying the food though I have to say this is probably the best Thai food I've had in the area. The food was authentic and we didn't have any problems with the service. read more

Very good home feeling thai food, good portions to take home or share with family or to put in a container for work later. Price is in the medium range. The duck meal is expertly done but its the most expensive $16.99. Interior and exterior could use a make over and if I was wealthy I would help this establishment out but I don't make much. There is a lunch special menu. read more

I work across the street and my parents have owned the insurance business for about 16 years now and I remember going to this restaurant as a young girl. The food here is soooooo good. I've tried other Thai restaurants around and they aren't as good as this one. The food tastes homemade and the staff is really nice. Try the spicy green curry or the spicy and sour sea food soup! Also add a Thai iced tea. You won't be sorry! read more

Best Thai food in town. Under new ownership since may 2015. They finally changed the decor and it now looks more nicer and inviting. Nice owner and they kept the cook after the old owners sold them the restaurant. I been going here for about 5years and will definitely continue read more

My husband and I found this restaurant searching for nearby authentic thai food. It's not in the safest of neighborhoods, but I highly recommend trying. You cannot judge this restaurant from its exterior, the taste is superb. The red curry and chow mein are both delicious with chicken. Additionally, the service was polite, clear, and quick. We plan to return, most definitely! read more

Went tonight with coworkers on a business trip, and we LOVED our food and the sweet waitstaff (Bebe!) we had pad Thai, pad see eew, spicy garlic chicken, and the mixed vegetables with chicken. Some of the best Thai food I've ever had, plus we got hugs from Bebe as we left. Don't let the outward appearance fool you, this place is an absolute gem (AND very very affordable). read more

This restaurants food is delicious but the customer service of the woman taking orders the last few months is terrible. She is extremely rude and responds very unprofessionally. She is extremely busy and takes it out on customers when she feels overwhelmed. I ordered for pick up today and I had forgotten to order a Boba drink for my daughter. I asked her if I can order one and she plainly said "no I am too busy you have to order ahead of time. " I was asking for a drink not a prepared meal! I wondered if I had only just gone to buy a drink would she had said no to me? Her sassy attitude reminded me of my teenage kids talking back when I ask them to do something and getting this type of respond from and adult woman really got me upset. I asked her to simply charge me for my food and I assured her I would not return again. I would have been willing to wait for my drink if I had to. She did not even give me that choice. I strongly suggest she gets an extra hand to help her if she can not handle how busy she can be. It's a shame, I love the food since day one and I have recommended to many. I feel awful! read more

Excellent tasting food! Huge portions at really good prices. The place is pretty small so expect a wait to be seated if you're coming during the dinner rush or with a large group. read more

This place is easy to miss because it's stuck between a donut place and a taqueria, with a smog test place in the parking lot. It's not the nicest looking place but it has the BEST Thai food I've had in the AV (so far). I drove past this place for a long time and finally decided to go in a few months ago, since then I've gone over a dozen times. The red curry and pad kee mao are my favorite dishes here but everything I've had here is awesome. Dishes range from $6-9 respectively and the portions are great. read more

This place is legit! The food is as authentic as it gets. The ladies working are THAI and speak THAI. They make the real deal Thai food. I recommend the shrimp pad kee Mao in medium spicy. Make sure you have some mint and body spray after if you are on your lunch break cuz your going to need it. There is lots of spices and garlic. I love it. Curry and tom yum is also bomb. Haven't had anything I didn't like. If you like Thai, give this place a try and you'll be hooked. read more

Not the best in Palmdale. I was here a couple years ago and enjoyed the coconut soup, but tonight's green curry had a funky flavor and unappetizing bluish color. The waitress never came back to check on my table. Had she, I would have asked to exchange the plate. It was just off. When I spoke up about it cordially at the end, ("this has a very unusual flavor, I eat green curry all the time, what could it be...") one server commented that I had eaten half the bowl. Sassy lady, I am on a very very tight budget and forced it down since nobody checked to see if All was going well. I won't be back here, not because I didn't like the curry, but because of how my complaint was handled. :( read more

It's a hole in the wall place that you'd definitely pass or avoid just cuz driving down Palmdale Blvd is purely awful... But I called this place randomly for takeout last night, and it's DELICIOUS! Shrimp pad thai, yes! Pad see ew, yes! Chicken satay and that awesome peanut butter sauce, oh yum! And their fried rice is YES YES YES YUM! Definitely coming back for more. read more

Great for a quick great thai meal. Chicken padseew is delicious, although dining in is a bit small so we prefer to get togo. but a must try!! read more
