It's a hole in the wall place that you'd definitely pass or avoid just cuz driving down Palmdale Blvd is purely awful... But I called this place randomly for takeout last night, and it's DELICIOUS! Came with a group of friends ordered the chicken pad Thai, dumplings, boba tea, curry, and a few other things. We all waited for each other's plate before eating and they completely forgot about our friends plate. But when the check came they billed the missing plate and said she had already eaten it. After years of going here. Tried all the other thai places here in the AV. All I can say that we give the crown to Thai Palms for the best thai food in the AV. Best panang, love the combination fried rice, eggplant basil, and mango with stick rice. They have finally renovated and this place looks so much better now. Despite the sketchy-ish location, this restaurant was able to fit our party of 13 with just a half hour of prior notice. The service was fast and the menu was extensive and fairly priced. They do not split checks which was a tad inconvenient. read more

Food is good but service is not. Called in an order was told 20min... when i got there 20 min after i ordered i waiter an additional 30 min as food went out. Also... someone came in and ordered to go and their food was ready before mine. They held it until mine was ready but im not blind... so disappointed. My mother used to come here when she used to work down the street for many years and she always loved coming here so we decided to go have dinner here. When we arrived we set ourselves in the corner table. When the waitress came up to take our order we ordered the orange chicken, pork fried rice, pad kee mow, and two thai iced teas. My mom asked the waitress if they give refills on Thai tea and she said no, so we ordered them large. The waitress brought our drinks and they were in large styrofoam cups. My mom and I kind of looked at each other wondering why she had them in styrofoam when people at other tables had plastic cups. Instead of getting pork fried rice, they gave us chicken fried rice but we just let it go. The pad kee mow was not very hot and there was barely any chicken in it. The orange chicken had this breading that was fried and tasted like pure grease and had a drizzle of orange sauce on it. The chicken fried rice was very delicious, unfortunately the rest of the food just wasn't up to par. When we got our check they had charged us 50 cents more per drink because they were "to go". My mother asked why they did that and the lady said "you didn't tell me". We didn't tell her that we were dining in??? Then why did we sit at a table and why did you bring our food on plates and not in to go containers???? Needless to say, my mom got the dollar off, but we will not be coming back. LOVE this restaurant! It reminds me of our experience at the local restaurants in Thailand! The food is excellant and very authentic (the people that work there are from Thailand). The atmosphere is nothing to write home about but the service is good and friendly. You feel like you have been invited to their home for dinner. Great Thai food. Friendly service. I appreciate that their curry was loaded with veggies, not just a few peas floating in sauce. They do tofu with anything (nicely cubed and fried). I honestly don't know what all the great reviews are about. I hesitate to try to come here because they are always really busy and running around like a chicken with their head cut off. I have walked out twice and almost did today. They seated me and I wanted to know the lunch specials. I guess they are on the front of the menu. After already waiting a bit the owner told me where the specials where. I wasn't ready to order because i still needed to choose.So again waiting a bit. Well once I finally ordered the food did come pretty quickly. Honestly the Red Curry had no flavor.It almost tasted like bland Tuna. I was boring. I ate some of it and the bambo shoots out of it and paid and left half my food on the table.The rice was good but I rarely finish my rice. I have had better food here in the past but this curry was watered down. I can't believe that out of about 53 reviews more people are not complaining about the service. This is the best Authentic Thai food in the entire Antelope Valley. You have to try the coconut chicken soup it was amazing.
