I would like to start off my reviews with, I'm a Thai gal and it's hard to find Thai Street Food around these parts. However, I still need my Thai food fix! My girls and I decided to try a new Thai restaurant other than our regular go to. It's a small cafe-like sized restaurant. Causal dining. The menu was limited and had your basic Thai dishes (but not many) and then not so Thai- chow mein, orange chicken, and beef broccoli. We ordered Spicy Sole Filet, Pad Kee Mow Chicken, Chicken Chili Garlic, veggie egg rolls, and Cashew Tofu (for our vegetarian girl). The item I didn't like much was the sole filet, it was too breaded for me and couldn't taste the fish-almost like frozen breaded fish filets. The curry that came with it and lacked a little flavor- a bit watery for me. The other stir-fry dishes hit with Thai spicy flavors and were deelish. Service was excellent! The prices were average costs around here. I would likely come back and try the Pad Thai. I also decided to take pics of the updated menu since there are old ones on here from long time ago. Enjoy!

Cashew Chicken/ no noodles or rice included !

After reading a lot of the reviews of this restaurant that we have never tried before, we decided to try some for dinner this evening. We ordered the Cashew Chicken and the Chow Mein. What surprised me was that some reviewers stated that this is authentic thai style cooking and that the chef's were trained in Thailand. Well, if this is true, what a dissapointment indeed. The vegetables in both dishes were very hard , the Chicken in the Cashew Chicken was also hard and cut thin strips, tasteless, no noodles or rice included The noodles in the Chow Mein was about as good as cheap store bought noodles and dry at best. So I called the restaurant and a female answered whom I asked to speak to the Manager and with some hesitation asked if she could help, I again asked to speak to the Manager to which she replied that she was the owner and could she help. I stated to her the problem with this terrible food, and even told her that I had read many of the reviews on here (Yelp) and would be writing a review myself. In the final words for this review, I can say that eiher this place has a lot of friends and or family that may have buttered up the review section, because I would be embarrassed to call this food as original from my home country. I did advise the Owner that these dishes were terrible and would not be buying from here again. What a waste of money because I paid over $50.00 total with tip from food delivery service and for something like this is a shame!

Very good food. I've been visiting quite a bit lately. They're under new ownership and the food is excellent.

This is their Shrimp Pad Thai , very delicious this location in Palmdale and 10th street. Give it a try .

Food very delicious authentic, good flavor, spices and shrimp very well cook. The server very nice very attentive and the location small but very clean. The cooks are from Thailand which makes even better.

Taste great every time, the best in the Antelope Valley in my opinion. The neighborhood isn't the best, but the food is totally worth it.

The new Chef can't cook like the old chef, they went back to Thailand. Or the day we would dine in or pick up their good chef is not there?? We have complained on occasion because the food was not the same and we work hard for our money! There were a few times we went where it was so good it was amazing, but when it's not and your paying the same money it's very disappointing. Tonight we ordered extra noodle in two of our dishes and I made it very clear that we wanted extra sauce. Not only was our dishes bland but they did not give us the peanuts for the pad thai. When I called to tell them about our pickup order, she says don't you have peanuts at home. I said they are in shells we would have to crack them and then crush them. So she said do it?? I didn't just pay $104 for 4 dishes to have to crack peanut shells and crush them to put it on a dish that it should have came with. If they don't want to deal with asking for extra noodles, then they should not take it in the order. Very rude... then she said I have to come in person to get the cash for the Pad Thai dish, we paid by credit card and they are not willing to credit us just for the one dish. They said they don't care about our business, they have plenty of customers, they've been there a long time! That's not how you treat a customer!! The only time they smiled is when I told them that I was giving them a good review in the beginning when I first started going there!! You can tell how the food used to be good by looking at the pictures and comparing and how they look today!

The restaurant is small, but it's actually really cute. I appreciate the decor cus it has a comfortable feel to it. So far, I've ordered both the spicy fried rice and the beef salad. I always brave the extra spicy level, and every time it comes out so good. The food has great flavor, and the portions are fair for the price. The staff is also friendly and efficient. I haven't seen too many authentic Thai restaurants around the Antelope Valley, but this one is definitely a gem. 9/10, I would absolutely continue coming back.

We've always loved coming here, especially because the servers and the entire staff are consistently so kind and nice to us every time we walk through the door. Unfortunately, over the last few months, we've noticed a dip in quality and service that's getting harder to ignore. Lately, every time we've ordered for pickup, the wait times have been incredibly long--usually stretching close to an hour. For our most recent order, I was told it would be 30 minutes because they only had one cook on staff. We're very understanding, and we actually noticed they only had one cook months ago, too, so it seems like a persistent staffing struggle. However, after calling back to check in, the total wait ended up being nearly 50 minutes. The real disappointment, though, was the food itself. The Pad Thai looked completely unappetizing this time; it had no color, was very dry, and tasted almost bland. It's a far cry from the vibrant, flavorful dishes we fell in love with when we first started coming here. We really want to see this place thrive again. We truly appreciate the lovely staff but we're becoming more hesitant to order. I hope the owners see this and can make some adjustments to the kitchen consistency and staffing, because we'd love to have a reason to come back.

The food is absolutely delicious--the flavors are authentic, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Their seafood soup is to die for! It's packed with flavor and is something I crave over and over again. The atmosphere is another reason I keep coming back. It's comfortable, quiet, and never feels rushed, making it the perfect place for a business meeting, lunch with a friend, or even a relaxing dinner. The service is always friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for outstanding Thai food in the Antelope Valley, I highly recommend Shandra Thai Cuisine. It's a true local gem that consistently delivers an excellent dining experience.

With that said, I was sadly disappointed with Shandra Thai. Starting with the Thai iced tea: it wasn't the worst I've had, but definitely not the best. It tasted like it was brewed from tea (which is a plus), but it had way too much milk added, which diluted the flavor. It was also overly sweet. On the bright side, the portion is huge for $8, so it's definitely shareable. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp pad thai, which is a pretty standard dish. It was decent and came with a good amount of shrimp, but the flavor leaned way too sweet for my liking. I ordered the wor wonton soup, and this is where things really went downhill. The broth honestly reminded me of those seasoning packets that come with instant ramen--very salty and lacking depth. It was so salty that I could only manage a couple of spoonfuls before I started to feel sick. I'm also fairly certain the shrimp in the soup was frozen (see photo). It's disappointing to pay $18 for a dish that ends up going to waste. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be coming back.

We tried the Egg Rolls (3 pieces) and Dumplings (5 pieces) for appetizers, and for our main meals we ordered the Beef Stew Soup and the Glass Noodle Chicken Soup. The egg rolls and dumplings were crispy and flavorful, and the sweet and sour dipping sauce paired well with both. I actually thought I had ordered the beef pho, so I was surprised when the beef stew came out but that was completely my mistake. It ended up being a pleasant surprise because it was hearty, full of flavor, and reminded me a lot of sopa de res. The Glass Noodle Chicken Soup was much lighter, with a clean, comforting broth that made for a great contrast to the rich beef stew. Both soups were generously portioned. The restaurant was clearly overcrowded, and instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner became rude and disrespectful. Eventually, we were asked to leave despite there being available seating when we arrived. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but there is no excuse for poor customer service or rude behavior toward paying customers. If a business cannot manage being at full capacity, it should have a better system in place rather than taking frustration out on guests.
