Ambiance: Small casual sit down Thai restaurant. There were plenty of tables and booths. Service: Our server was quick and friendly! We were seated right away after walking in. Food: The menu was pretty standard. There were plenty of appetizers, Thai stir fried noodle dishes, soup noodles, fried rice options, and Thai curries. They even had Chinese American dishes like orange chicken. I literally order the same thing at every Thai restaurant: pad khee mao (drunken noodles). The noodles were very well flavored. The plate of noodles had fresh cut bell peppers, and freshly chopped Thai basil. The plate of noodles were also very generously sized. Overall, it was delicious.

Great Thai food in a chill atmosphere! We stopped in here mid afternoon to satisfy our craving for some Thai noodles. I ordered the pad woon sen (level 2/5 spice) and she ordered the pad kee mow (level 3 spice). To be honest, neither dish really had any spice, so if you like things spicy, go for at least level 4 (my only regret). The flavors for both were excellent, and we shared each dish and deleted both of them in about 10 minutes. Definitely hit the spot. The employees are very friendly and the music gives a relaxing island-type vibe. I recommend checking this place out, I'll definitely be back.

Food was very tasty, quick friendly service. You get serval pieces of the summer roll and the peanut sauce is good, thick.

Our second visit to Thai Papaya was much better in terms of portion size. This time, my husband and I both ordered takeout -- I went with the Chicken Pad Thai, and he tried the Chicken Pad See Eew. The service was just as quick and friendly as before. My husband said the woman at the front was smiling and kind, and the food was hot and ready when he arrived. We noticed the portions were more generous this time (see photos), with more chicken and vegetables in both dishes. Not sure if this will be consistent going forward, but we'll definitely be ordering again. I chose a spice level 4, and wow -- it was a big jump from level 3! It had a great kick. The Pad Thai had excellent flavor and texture; I'd definitely order it again. My husband enjoyed the Pad See Eew overall, especially the portion size and flavor. His only comment was that it could have used a bit more sauce, as the noodles were a little dry -- but still tasty. Looking forward to our next meal from here!

We've been looking for a close by Thai restaurant to frequent and we are so glad to find Thai Papaya!! Thai green tea was so good, wish I could have more!! Pad see ew was DELICIOUS. Got it with chicken and the chicken wasn't dry (which is always my biggest concern). The biggest plus too, is that portions are large. Service was also amazing and attentive. We will definitely be back to try the other specialities!!

Thai Papaya came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The food was great and service was friendly. It was in a location with other restaurants and businesses, but on the end so it is slightly hidden. Don't blink or you may miss it. It is a welcoming, clean, cozy, family friendly restaurant. Thai Papaya has all of the classic favorite Thai dishes and then some. The dishes were hot, fresh and savory. The dishes also contain the right balance of favor and spice. The food was beautifully presented when it came out. The servers were very attentive, amiable and warm. Thai Papaya definitely delivered on experience and especially taste. It is a hidden gem that will satisfy your Thai tastebuds.

Trying to find a decent " daily go to" Thai restaurant for take out,I came across Thai Papaya. Based on the reviews and closeness,I did an online pick up order . I was frustrated that check out automatically added 18% tip. I was trying to do zero and leave a cash tip at pick up My order was ready about five minutes after I arrived. The restaurant is clean and modern. The staff were pleasant and offered me a drink while waiting. The food was still nice and hot when I returned home. Opening the containers, both entrees seemed to be less than the size serving I expected. One of the entrees just looked haphazardly put together. Overall the flavors were just ok. I wouldn't go of my way to return. I rate them average overall.

FOOD Pad See Ew - The food here is delicious! I got the Pad See Ew at spice level 3. It comes out fresh and super hot. The spice is pretty spicy -- towards the end of finishing the dish, my lips felt slightly numb. The flavors are great. There's the nice pan-fried char flavor. Broccoli is crispy and delicious and the flat noodles also have good texture. Mango Sticky Rice - very delicious. The presentation is great and the mangoes are super fresh. There was the perfect amount of coconut milk/sauce(?) drizzled on top. The sticky rice portion was great consistency too! VIBES The place has a decent amount of seating. There's a super long booth with multiple tables and chairs on the outside seating. A pretty cute little place to get Thai food from. SERVICE The service is great overall! They are quick to take our orders and are friendly. No complaints here.

I had been wanting to give this place a shot. Not too busy on a Saturday afternoon. Quick service. Friendly. Ordered Pad See Ew beef, level 2 spicy. Cream cheese and crab wonton. The shape of the wonton was perfect. Looked like a lot of effort. Upon biting into the wonton the cream cheese was warm but not hot. The cream was still partially frozen. Need a minute or two more in the fryer. This was quickly remedied by the team. Pad See Ew was solid. Great taste. Beef sliced thin and tender. More expensive than needed, but food was a good experience.

New place, opened less than a month or two ago? Went for a weekend lunch with family. Ordered Red curry with tofu, Curry fried rice with chicken and Pad ke mow for kids Thai iced tea was very good. Food was served quick and tasted great. I could have used little bit of spice on level 4.

Nice small diner, big menu, nice settings, authentic recipes. Good parking near front.

A humble Thai diner with authentic recipes on a big menu. In a good spot for parking in a big shopping plaza along Stacy Road. 7 tables for 4, and 3 for couples. Staff is warm & welcoming, with a mellow overhead music system making a relaxed, friendly ambiance. Small kitchen works fast, but with all tables full, do not be in a rush to eat. And the tables do fill up with regulars, and a newbie, Me! One waitress, very polite as she covers all the tables doing an excellent job. What you get is homestyle Thai flavor, and fresh ingredients. There are teriyaki dishes, Loatian, and Pad noodle dishes. A selection of Fried Rice plates, also. Curries, Salads, Noodle Soups. Dietary needs & spice levels options. Teas, desserts, ice cream macaron. I had the salmon panang curry, and enjoyed every bite! The coconut ice cream was good dessert, but I had filled up already. Those big macaron looked awesome!

The Pad Thai was packed with flavor and perfectly balanced, while the Pad See Ew had that rich, savory taste with noodles cooked just right. I ordered everything at the highest spice level, and I was honestly impressed that the heat never overpowered the food. It still had tons of flavor behind the spice, which is something a lot of places struggle to pull off. The dim sum was another standout. It was fresh, flavorful, and paired with a house-made dipping sauce that was absolutely incredible. That sauce alone is worth coming back for. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great place to sit down, relax, and enjoy your meal instead of feeling rushed. On top of that, the customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and happy to answer questions or make recommendations, which made the experience even better. Between the flavorful food, authentic spice, great atmosphere, and outstanding service, this place easily earns a 10/10 from me. I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu. My personal favorite Thai spot in the area!

The entire restaurant vibe was amazing, beautifully designed, clean, waitress was friendly, and took my shellfish allergy seriously. Since it was our first trip we ordered our food "mild", which was flavorful and incredibly delicious. Next time, I'll raise my spice level up to medium. If you're new to Thai food OR to this restaurant, I always recommend starting mild and working your way up. Every place is different. The pad Thai & house fried rice were simply amazing. So much flavor depth! Also, PLEASE do yourself a favor and order the Thai crispy spring rolls. I could eat a dozen of these by myself! And the sauce that's served with the spring rolls?! So good. We were planning our next visit before we even walked out the door! lol! We'll be back soon! Thanks Thai Spice for an incredible experience & amazing food!

We went with the Tom Kha soup and papaya salad as starters and pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao as entrees. First, I'll kick off the review with a note about spice levels, when they say 1-5 this is not a time to be cute. 2 is plenty spicy for most consumers. The Tom Kha soup was honestly the best soup I've ever had! Not just best Thai soup, but best soup in general. I highly recommend it. Excellent flavors dance on the tongue with every taste. The papaya salad was okay, but had us googling and referring to Yelp reviews to see if it actually had Papaya included. It's a white variation of the fruit, so yes, it is incorporated within the salad. It's okay but wasn't the highlight of the night. The pad Thai is exceptional once you mix the peanuts in throughout. That provides the perfect blend of flavors. The Pad Kee Mao was delicious. Excellently seasoned and tasty. Again, here is where I go to the spice levels. I am someone who loves spicy foods, but at level 3 I found myself at the edge of what I would like. That said, it was a delicious dish. Absolutely loved the taste experience and would highly recommend.
