Service is exceptional! I've eaten here on varies occasions. Today, I started with the calamari. Not what I expected. It was greasy. Pretty sure the calamari came from a freezer bag. I do not recommend ordering this. I should have done the 5 piece battered shrimp. Maybe, it would not have been so greasy. (Thinking I'm fooling myself on this one.) They do not offer lunch specials on Saturday and Sunday. It's dinner prices which is just fine. Still quite reasonable. The Fried Rice is always good and you can have them make it your way! They also offer varies types of noodles. The soups are really good! I'm a creature of habit and usually stick to the Tom Yum Gai or the Tom Kha Gai soup with chicken. There are 4 levels of spice in Vietnamese foods. I like mine a bit spicy. The number is never consistent at any restaurant. So you be the judge. The restaurant stayed busy the entire visit. I noted that most of the diners were familiar with what to order. Appears they have been here even more then me! If you're dining with little ones, they do offer a kids menu. January 2023

Chicken Satay, which used to be a go to dish here, today was dry, flavourless, and quite thick. Sauces provided did nothing to elevate the flavour. Corn cake, similarly, not up to their usual standard, not even near it Curry fried rice, OK. Too many big hunks of green onion that still had that outside layer on them that wasn't very chewable. Daughter said her food was good but she says that even for terrible meals. Take it as you wish. This restaurant used to be out go to local Thai place. One more meh meal and we're done

I love me some Thai, but I've had a lot of bad meals over the years. Thai Pan restaurant is excellent, I went there for the first time yesterday, I ordered the pork Pad Thai with 3 hotness, which was not hot, just for your information. I also got the Thai egg rolls which were fair to good, they weren't the best I've had but they aren't the worst. Their Thai iced tea was delicious as well, so overall a great meal.

There are quite a few good Thai places near where I live. But I just wanted to venture out to see if there is anything better somewhere else. I picked this one from Yelp and the rating is pretty good. So I think it's worth a try and also wanted to check out if Yelp is trustworthy or not. We ordered our regular dishes: papayas salad, tom aha Gai soup, and pad see ew. The salad was delicious, with a pleasant sweet and sour taste. One thing I noticed was it was a bit watery. We ordered medium hot. But be very cautious about the tiny pieces of green peppers. They are vicious if you bite on one of them accidentally. We also ordered a tom kha gai soup. It looked very appetizing. The broth was very savory with a good coconut flavor. We liked it a lot. As to the pad see ew, it was just fine. The place doesn't look very Thai to me when you walk in. But it does have some Thai wall decoration and small Thai art items here and there. Overall, it's a comfortable place to dine in. I may come back to try other things.

Good, not great. I've been trying to find that knock-out Thai restaurant and still searching. I had my usual Red Curry chicken. My wife had the cashew delight and we shared the chicken satay. The satay was over done but with the peanut sauce, still tasty. The Red Curry was good but needed more chicken. It was more like Red Curry Green Pepper. Chicken cashew was just OK, portion kind of small. Plenty of rice though. We'll keep trying...

I had eaten here years ago and I did not care for it then. After seeing the glowing reviews, decided to give them another try. I ordered shrimp blankets, they were decent and that is why they get 2 stars. I ordered an entree of Cashew Delight with chicken, asking them to not add in the baby corn & that got that right. They also omitted ALL the cashews. Really? I am sure the owners are wonderful people; however, the cook needs to get the orders right!

****NOT RECOMMEND*** This was a complete and total disappointment. The table next to us was also unhappy and neither one of us received was ordered. The chicken fried rice was supposed to be a level two spicy (per instructions on menu - Levels 1-5) but it had no flavor and was extremely uninspired. The plate Looked pretty but flat. When our server was asked where the seasoning/spiciness was she said that a level 2 was like nothing to them and I should grab one of the three containers on the table and add it to my rice. (I'm not sure what was in the containers but none of them tasted like what we would've expected in our fried rice) The servers assertion was repeated more than once. Even when it was indicated that this was not an acceptable item. The massaman was not particularly good either. Certainly there was the obligatory flavor of coconut milk but outside of that, some carrots and potatoes, this was a very flat and unimpressive dish. We sent back the rice and ate the massaman as we were hungry. When we were done, we went across the street and purchased fried rice which was an entire order of magnitude better. We could not be less satisfied with this experience and will not return. ****NOT RECOMMEND***

A very decent Green curry. A little on the sweeter side but the vegetables were fresh and thequatity generous. Nothing crazy but a nice fix.

We arrived at 2 pm and were the only customers there. The waitress seated us right away. It was a small place with several tables inside. We did not have a large appetite when we arrived so we decided to spit several appetizers and a main dish. Everyone gets a small pate with Pita Bread, Feta Cheese, and Mint. It was nice to cleanse the pate before our meal. We ordered the Hummus and Baba Ganoush. Both were tasty but not extraordinary. We ordered the Chicken Soltani. Both my colleague and I decided that this was some of the best Koobideh and Chicken Kebab we had had in a while. The rice was cooked to perfection and I am always a big fan of Grilled Tomatoes. We thought the food was so tasty that we both decided we would be back again.

For example, I can generally tell a good Chinese place from a mediocre one based on certain dishes that's being offered or what the place is calling it, same with Mexican. Is it failproof? Absolutely not. But it gives me an idea of what we're working with. However, "Mediterranean" I feel like is such a broad term and maybe because DFW doesn't have a ton of Persian options, the restaurants tend to offer more mainstream menu items, like kabobs and gyros. And let's face it, we've all had dried kabobs and subpar gyro. As my colleague and I sat down and stared at the small (and honestly a bit pricey) menu, I was almost regretful for choosing the restaurant. However, we stayed because this place had such high ratings on both Google and Yelp. And in reviews we trust! I stared at the chicken kabob option and ended up ordering it. Would I have liked a little something more than just chicken and rice and a blackened tomato for the price? Yes. But was it one of the best chicken and rice and blackened tomato I've had in a Mediterranean restaurant? Also yes. The rice had flavor, the chicken was moist and the tomato was chef's kiss. I stole a couple of french fries from my colleagues plate and she assured me that her gyro was also great. The simpleness of the dish plus the perfect execution was enough to convince me of returning soon.

I'd say my total time waiting to order was 5 minutes and my total time waiting for food was 10, even with how crowded it was. I ordered the White Chicken Parmesan. I've never had gluten free pasta before this and there was no strange taste or texture. The sauce was bright and very lemony. I will say the pasta was in oddly short pieces so don't expect to twirl your noodles on your fork! The chicken was well cooked and seasoned with a nice crust. The raw tomato addition didn't do too much for me but I didn't mind it overall. The soda fountain is an adorable tap that boasted drinks like cola, sparkling lemonade, cream soda, root beer and more. I'm not usually a fan of off brand cola but this one was great, if not a little watery for my taste. My pasta dish overall was $15.50, which was a great price for the amount I received. The plate was large and easily more than one portion. This is definitely one of the best "health food" places I've been to. Will definitely be back!

All three of the people that came by to refill coffee and water and to check on us (multiple times) were very nice. This being our first time, we weren't sure of the seating situation. I walked to the back, where the to-go pick up was located, to find that we can sit anywhere and that someone would come and help us. We did, and they did. I suggest you stop in and give Curuba a try. Very reasonable prices, lots of menu choices, wonderful staff, oh, did I mention the coffee? I love dark roast coffee, "Just black, please". This Columbian coffee is dark, rich, smooth and flavorful with an aroma that hits the senses with every taste. If you're a dark roasted coffee fan, stop in for a cup to go. You'll be back.
