My husband and I have been to Thai Paradise several times since they reopened their dining area. We have always enjoyed the food. Nicole, our server, has been very pleasant and an excellent server. However, this past Sunday, someone by the name of Tiffany was apparently the server. My sister-in-law, her grandson, daughter and son-in-law arrived at the restaurant and went inside to ask for a table. My sister-in-law can barely walk and uses crutches. When asked to sit in the car with a beeper, her daughter and son-in-law went back outside to their car. Because of my sister-in-law's difficulty walking, she and her grandson sat on the bench inside to wait. My husband and I arrived shortly thereafter, and my husband went inside to see what was going on not realizing that our party had been asked to wait outside. Long story short, Tiffany told my husband that he was being rude, apparently because he told her "I just got here and was trying to figure out what the hell was going on" and further said that he was making the customers uncomfortable because he was looking in the dining room. She then told him that she would not serve us. It is a good thing they have decent food in a small town. This type of rude and unprofessional behavior would not and should not be tolerated anywhere. This is not the only review I have seen regarding rude behavior by the owners. I assume Tiffany is the daughter of the owners. I would never dream of dining there again, although apparently, we have been asked not to return. And, if and when asked for a recommendation for a restaurant in the area, Thai Paradise will not be on the list. read more

I have had pretty much everything on the menu and it's all very delicious. Phet and Keo use the freshest ingredients and everything is cooked to order. Their food quality is amazing!!! Some of the "Must Try" recommendations are: Keo's Fried Rice is phenomenal, the pad Thai is absolutely out of this world, the Chili Jam and Spicy Basil dishes are incredible!! You have to try the Larb, it's a awesome app as is the Thai Chicken Wings. Simple is that everything is so good and the portions are amazing. I love eating here and recommend you do also. I know there is a wait sometimes, but the food is completely worth it. I've travelled to many cities and eaten Thai and I can definitely say that Thai Paradise is my #1 Thai place to eat!!!! read more

Thai food in Franklin NC? Who would have thought? My wife and I drove past here many times and finally stopped in. The food was outstanding, and the service was very good as well. I had the Panang and my wife had the Green Curry. The Panang was very good, but the Green Curry was much better. If I had to say one thing negative about the restaurant, it is always busy and it is always 45 minutes for your meal. That said the food is great. read more

North GA/Western NC is an asian food desert. We've been desperate for good Thai food since we left metro ATL. Thai Paradise is just that! You know you are in the right place when you have to pick kaffir leaves and bits of lemongrass out of your tom ka. The green curry was also fantastic, and my husband couldn't get enough of the Spicy Basil Noodles. We'll be looking for more excuses to drive to Franklin soon - and we'll order extra food to go. We ordered cheese rolls which weren't rolled and a little greasy but they were so unique and tasted really amazing. The dipping raspberry sauce was also different and delicious. Another app was the basil rolls fresh and huge and also very delicious! I had the green curry with extra vegetables which I didn't need to add but they were only $3.00. This curry is hot. A little to hot hot me but so incredibly delicious just next time I'll order mild instead of medium which is usually how I order curries. My husband had some sort of fried duck dish which was also excellent and hot. So that we'll order mild next time too. They're only doing takeout and the phone was busy for about 5 minutes but keep trying cause it's so worth it. read more

Great Thai food! My daughter has been eating phad thai shrimp here for just about her whole life! I like the green curry tofu; it comes with a wide range of veggies. My wife likes the masaman curry chicken. (I do too!) the tom ka kai soup is great (I'm eating leftover while I write this!) basil rolls, cheese rolls. If you like it hot, ask for the hot sauce plate: thai birdseye pepers in fish sauce, in vinegar and dried and ground. and don't forget to get a Thai Iced Tea. read more

The exterior looks terrible, but don't let that stop you. This is easily the best Asian food you are going to find in Western North Carolina, including Asheville. We are regular connoisseurs of Atlanta's Buford Highway ethnic food scene, and are picky about our Thai restaurants. Thai Paradise more than holds it own against almost anything in Atlanta in it's price range. Being located in Franklin, NC makes this even more amazing. Great food and service. We had the spicy coconut soup and satay chicken appetizers. Both were great. For dinner, we had the Yum Yai salad and Spicy Basil Noodles with steamed tofu and mixed veggies. They have the best Thai food!! Be ready though, they try to upcharge you as much as they can. The Cheese Rolls are my fav app and I could make a meal out of these but they are a bit pricey. The Egg Rolls are good. They are very stingy on their sauce that comes with the apps and don't even give enough sauce to eat it with and they want to charge you for extra sauce which is ridiculous because it is a tiny cup. The Chili Jam, Masaman Curry, Fried Rice, and Tom Kha Gai Soup are our favorites and so good!! I used to love the Phad Thai and got it for years every time I went, but not sure if they changed the recipe or what, but the last 2 or 3 times I got it, it smelled like wet dog and tasted horrible so bad I couldn't even eat it. The Sweet Tea is so good, and so is the Thai Iced Tea! Service is sometimes great if you get one of the smiling friendly waitress' or can make you feel like your a burden if you get one of the ones that are not friendly, never smile, and make you feel like they don't want you there. They started charging a fee for using a card even if its debit which is Ridiculous!! The food is what makes us keep going back to this place because it is so good! Since Covid started they are take out only, so since we don't live in Franklin and don't want to eat in the vehicle, we haven't been back. Can't wait until they open their dine in again because we miss the great food! read more

Went here last night for about the hundredth time and the service was absolutely terrible. We waited an hour and a half for cold food and still paid the bill. Then asked for some sauce to take home with our cold food and they wanted to charge 8 dollars FOR SAUCE!!! Manager took her apron off like she was going to fight me because I refused to pay for the sauce and told us to never come to the restraint again. Her excuse was they were busy which was not the case. Myself being in the serving industry was baffled. Very rude servers. Very rude manager and owner. Never going there again read more

I am so glad I waited until my second visit to write a review! On my first visit, I ordered phad thai and was really disappointed. I ordered some extra sauce on the side, and was charged $2.00 for the sauce, which was reddish and sweet. The phad thai itself was dry with very little added (barely any egg, maybe 3 pieces of bean sprout, a little chopped peanuts) and pretty tasteless. When I mentioned this to my daughter, she said "Yeah, their phad thai is pretty bad, but everything else is awesome!" and gave me some tips on what to order. Next time, I ordered spicy basil rolls, green curry and tom yum soup. My whole meal was fantastic, super flavorful and fresh. So, the restaurant is awesome, just don't order the phad thai ;) read more
