Honestly the Thai food is a solid offering. While there may be better options in Maryland, the price puts them on par, and the service is just as good. Pineapple Fried rice with shrimp was just okay - but it takes a lot to impress with me this dish. The Pad Thai, Pad See Eaw and the Spicy Eggplant were amazing. The eggplant was surprisingly spicy, but it had a really balanced and unique flavor - so if you don't mind the heat, I suggest it. Lastly - the Vegetable Pot Stickers I'm at a loss for describing. We had dumplings (2/5), spring rolls (2/5), pineapple fried rice (1/5), pad see eew (3/5), and pad soon sen (2/5). No bold flavors, no spice, everything was sweet except the pineapples :/ I was not impressed. The beef was tough, carrots cut too thick, nothing tasted fresh. We didn't finish the food. We complained. We ultimately threw food away :( I have never thrown out leftovers before they go bad! This was a horrible experience. It also put me on the toilet! read more

If I based this review on the food, it would be a 1 star but I gave this restaurant 2 stars because the host was so sweet and nice! This was the blandest Thai food that I've ever eaten. The gyoza had the perfect crunch but no flavor, the crab Rangoon was cold in the middle and had wayy too much cream cheese and no flavor. The host offered to refry The Pad Woon zen was the most pale dish I have ever received from a Thai restaurant. No flavor, the carrots tasted like they were leftover from the night before. I guess if you're in the area and never had Thai food before this would be ok but as someone who loves Thai food, this was a terrible first impression. I would not recommend. Delicious!! Exceptional value!! I had a "besties dinner" with a friend there and was pleasantly surprised! We both live 40 minutes in opposite directions and picked it out on a whim on yelp as a meet-in-the-middle place. The restaurant is small and could use a style makeover, but the food more than made up for the lack of ambiance. I had the chicken satay and the Tom Yum Noodle soup. Holy smokes, the soup had amazing flavor. The portion was very generous, and I ended up taking half home (where my husband ate it and proclaimed it to be "interesting and really good"... which makes up for my disappointment at not getting to have it again the next day.) My friend has the spring rolls and steak pad Thai... also taking half home after feeling happy and stuffed. We will absolutely go there again, despite the distance and the availability of many other Thai places along the way. I should add that there was only one other eat-in table while we were there (it was a Thursday evening) but the take-out business was hopping. A great Thai restaurant located in the heart of old Glen Burnie! This place was recommended to me by someone who is married to a Thai person who said it was more authentic than the places in Crofton of which I'm more familiar. Visited early on a rainy Saturday, we were the first customers. Parking could be difficult to find if you come later in the day. The place was small and the scent of a burning incense stick filled the room. The host who was also our server quickly seated us and gave us waters. Starving we ordered chicken wings and kanom jeeb dumplings. The chicken wings were small but flaky. They were unsauced but served with a sweet and sour sauce on the side and garnished with fried garlic or small pieces of onion. The steamed dumplings were delicious filled with chicken and pork. I didn't really taste any shrimp but liked the texture the water chestnuts provided. As my main, I had the kaprow Kai Dow. It's more like a drunken noodles but served with rice and a Thai style fried egg. I ordered it mild and wish I didn't. I like a little bit of heat. The crispy fried egg was one of my favorite parts of dish. It had great texture. Overall, I highly enjoyed it and can't wait to return and try more dishes. read more

Minimal parking. Upon pickup doors were not labeled correctly so it took a moment to find the correct entrance. The inside appeared clean and tidy. However, there was no one available to greet me until about 5 mins after sitting there waiting. Then another patron came in and just grabbed food that was sitting on a chair behind the empty host stand. I then read the other order that had been sitting there and realized it was mine. Mali Thai is my go-to Thai spot and thankfully I live right up the road from it. I love their red chicken curry with pineapple. It reminds me of my favorite Thai place back home in Charlotte, NC. I have not found Thai food as good as Mali Thai since I have moved to Maryland. The food it always, fresh, piping hot and consistently delicious. I had a good experience visiting this restaurant on this past Friday evening. There were several available tables when we showed up. So we didn't have any issues getting seated. I did see lots of people come and go for food pick up orders. The guy who served our table was friendly. I don't remember him coming over much to see if we needed anything else. So we ended up there for quite a while waiting for him to come so we could get our check. That's wasn't a big deal though cause we were chit chatting and catching up. We definitely were not rushed out of there. The food was tasty, flavorful and fresh. I ordered the basil fried chicken dish and papaya salad. Even the milder options had a bit of a spicy heat to them so keep that in mild. Parking seemed limited but I was able to get a parking spot in front of the restaurant. The good news is this Thai restaurant is in Glen Burnie. The bad news is that the food is mediocre. Although authentically seasoned. , the ingredients used were subpar. The seafood dish had the most minimal bits of seafood, barely recognisable seafood listed on the menu. The veggies were flavourless, prefrozen but fresh. I simply hadn't encountered many Thai places in the first place, so I turned to Yelp and Mali Thai seemed to be the front runner. I ordered with three friends who hadn't really ever tried Thai food before (what?!), and the food was fantastic! Two people ordered the crispy chicken basil and the other the chicken fried rice... all were reported to be very good and there were no leftovers. I ordered the chicken pad thai, and it was some of the best pad thai I have had. Definitely a winner! We also ordered the pot stickers and the steamed "kanoom jeeb" dumplings. Both were very good, but we thought the kanoom jeeb dumplings were a little bit bland. Still, there were zero leftovers of anything we ordered.
