I used to really love this restaurant. However, their prices have unfortunately, skyrocketed to the moon and the food just isn't as good as it used to be. Around $20 per dish! Insane robbery. Not worth it . We will return but on a rare occasion. Our most recent take out order was Pad Thai that was so dry. One dish Ka Prow was ordered mild but had huge red pepper flakes in it. So if you're sensitive to spice and even just want a small hint of it, order "no spice" level. Those red pepper flakes just burn my mouth, to where the food is inedible. Great little place to eat in or get some quick takeout. Cute welcoming little establishment - quiet and intimate. Tom had the Waterfall - Thai Spicy and they delivered on the spice. He loved everything mouth burning bite. I had the old standby - the Drunken Noodles and it was really really flavorful. Very impressed with the food. Now on to the service. Our party of 6 came here right when it opened without a reservation and had no issue being seated (Thursday). I had the pineapple with shrimp fried rice which was great, my son had the chicken fried rice also great, but the Pad Thai my daughter and wife had was not good. Had I ordered that dish I would have sent it back and asked for something different and I've eaten a lot of pad Thai. So the cost is 60-80 dollars plus 25% tip. But we pay to just sit and chill. We like the polish waitress. I am also proud that as an asian restaurant you are diverse and multi cultural, Most Asian restuarants are are not so much diverse or multicultural. i always love to see diversity it makes bonds. I also understand the rush is short and sweet so its hard to help the waiter make money and time the delivery, After we sat down and went to the washrooms to clean up it started to get busy. We normally chose the appitisers and salad first then order the Entrées this time we ordered both. The salad was hotter than normal and had peanuts in it. i drank 2 pitchers of water the crispy chive cakes were fine but had chopped peanuts in dipping sauce my wife gets hives from peanuts so when we got home she had some hives on her back. We got two noodle dishes, we told the waitress she in not antifilactic allergic but she does sometimes has hives and feels itchy. She saw two . They put them on mine. Here is the point where a real runner would help because of one waitress. No one checked on us when and got up and asked.for rhe meals . One minute later they were delivered. What was on top was warm underneath was cooler. The meat in pad thai was on top and was dried and the seafood on the lemon grass noodlewas cool covered by the noodles. Also 2 peanuts We told the waiter. She said nothing. OK fine. We finished and there were now 8 tables so I went to Brandon to get the check. I paid. We waited for the to go which were garden rolls shrimp and KaPow Fried Rice The rice was marked 2 chillies but it was 4 (uncomfortable hot), I am a chef. Went to culinary school top 5 in the country for 4 years the decided Togo one year more to be a TA and get a certificate in advanced pastries then to Toulouse to work as a pastry shop for a year, I do understand food. I worked all over the us just to understand the art of food, I then went to the grand hotel in Taiwan for 2 years then to hotel Nikko in Odaibon Tokyo. Anyways I understand balance. I don't care what price is as long as it is worth it the times we ate here it was balanced. Yesterday there was a bit of ingredient or communication sloppyiness. I think the world of Brandon. If everyone was like him, this world be exponentially a much better place. I am impressed with him. I gave a 15% tip to show I was not truly satisfied but not sure if it will be noticed. I really like lemongrass. You're always guaranteed good food. My friends and I have been to lemongrass enough that we already know what we're going to get. Always the pad see ew or drunken noodle and the massaman curry. Their lettuce wraps and spring rolls are good appetizers. If you want good Thai food, lemongrass is the place to go. read more

Insanely good Thai food! This was my second time, and once again, did not disappoint . Their Beef salad has got to be the best there is! Real sirloin steak with a real char grilled taste to match, and the chili lime dressing I could drink! I also had the chicken drunken noodles. Those were also 5 star quality, and they accomadated my extra spicy request to perfection. I could eat here once a week no problem. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The decor as a very buddahish chill vibe which you would expect in Thai culture. The only complaint from last time was the music. CHANGE IT! The first time it was like mellow almost house music. This time, trashy dopey rap that talked about nothing but drugs and sex. I'm pretty sure this was turned on by accident or by one of the staff ,so I will not hold that against the restaurant. Or I sure hope! No lie when I tell you the one song said F×ck Jennifer 50 times. If I would have had kids with me I would have walked out. I almost said something, but didn't. The trashy drug music is why I have 4 vs 5 stars. I highly recommend and I will be back the next time if that kind of music is playing I will say something. read more

We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty. Surprised about that since Mother's was jammed next door. But Mother's has entertainment and is a different venue all together. - Service is fine. - Prices are reasonable. - HUGE bar area...I mean really big. - Seating is a bit scattered and furniture is not really consistent. I know that's very expensive, so these tables will do. - Nice menu, with large selection. - Crispy Duck wasn't crispy. Is it supposed to be crispy? - Outdoor seating would be nice in good weather. - No paper towels in the bathrooms. I really don't like that. I don't think it's proper for restaurants NOT to have paper towels. People skip washing their hands (not me) because they don't like the blower, then there is nothing to open the bathroom door with. Ewww. - If you don't like your food very hot and spicy, you need to tell them when ordering. - Draft and bottle beer selection was pretty good. I had the Kirin on draft...it goes very well with the Thai food. I should have gotten a Thai beer now that I think about it! DO NOT COME HERE!!! Extremely UNACCEPTABLE!! I called in my order to specify that there was a severe peanut allergy as I could not comment online while placing my pickup order - my mother who is extremely allergic and could honestly go into anaphylactic shock ended up having a swollen lip!! I'm seriously hoping it doesn't get any worse!!! I specifically said there was an allergy and even when she picked it up, they asked about the allergy to her! Do NOT go here if you have allergies as they clearly are not careful when they prepare their dishes or care about their customers!!!! The shrimp Spring rolls were there giant burrito shaped lettuce rolls with 1 baby shrimp and lettuce no mint not cilantro and the sauce had too much soy and not enough peanut disgusting The crispy duck was mostly breading and saturated in the sauce. I didnt trust much basil, the peppers were under cooked and portion was small for $19 entree The Drunken Noodle has folded up noodles that were not very plentiful and the portion was small. We ordered with shrimp there were 4 again portion was a $20 entree . This is the 3rd and final time I will give them my business $60 meal with tip no drinks. There is no where good to eat Asian food in Arnold MD. They have a great opportunity but instead they serve under par cuisine. I could do better and never leave my house. read more

Be aware that the menu and prices are apparently the same at all Lemongrass locations in the area as shown on their Annapolis location website, excepting some desserts and drinks. Any new restaurant in Arnold or Severna Park is exciting since the options seems so slim. After getting take out from Lemongrass a few times I finally got the chance to dine in this small restaurant. The service and food were good but I definitely missed the ambiance of the quaint, cramped, converted-house West Street location. Also, perhaps its just my imagine, but I feel like the Drunken Noodles at the West Street location are a bit tastier. This would have been a four star review two years ago. Both quantity and quality have declined steadily over the last couple years to the point where we stopped going about four months ago. Last night we tried again...and the trend continues. Unusable lettuce with their lettuce wraps, exceptionally dry chicken and noodles in the pad Thai (and if a Thai restaurant can't hit pad Thai out of the park, they are in deep kimchi). So few good dining options in the area, but Mother's consistently offers better food quality. This is a very distant third of the 3 Annapolis area Lemongrass options, and it's now a no brainer to cross the bridge to Housley location (unless it's a Friday in the summer!). read more

I ordered pork fried rice.....It had an okay flavor but they stuff 2 soggy tomatoes in the plastic container for to go order.(adds weight and feels substantial,) but wth is going on here?....besides being at the top of the pricing point for fried rice....it was not so good....loose the tomato weights guys... The crispy duck dish had bone fragments throughout..... and was .....not so good....albeit quite pricey.... Although the location is kind of isolated the atmosphere within the restaurant makes up for it. The outside patio seems ideal for a day with perfect weather, but the day I went I was blessed with temperatures over 90 so the idea of eating outside was instantly scratched. Now onto the food. I had the Drunken Noodles with shrimp and my friend had the pad Thai with shrimp. The Drunken noodles were savory with just the appropriate amount of spice. The taste of the shrimp was so fresh it reminded me of the ocean. The pad Thai tasted a bit too peanutty. Overall it was pleasant experience with the taste of authentic Thai food. read more

I've been a patron of Lemongrass for years (mostly downtown location) and for the most part have not been disappointed. The food two nights ago was a little off par but overall was good. We got the crispy green beans, tofu drunken noodles, tofu green curry, and kapow jae. The crispy green beans needed more sauce. The kapow jae was a little salty. The drunken noodles and green curry were perfect. The service was a little slow but we were in no rush. I enjoy the Thai food at this restaurant and will be back for another visit. read more

Only giving 1 star because there wasn't an option to write a review without giving a star. We went to the Arnold location last night 2/16/20 at around 7:30pm for dinner. We walked in and were seated right away at a table near the bar area. We were sitting for about 10-15 minutes and was not greeted by a server or did not even get our waters. We looked around and did not see a bartender behind the bar or even a server anywhere in sight. We waited a few more minutes and saw a table wave a server who walked by and asked for what they asked for a while ago. The server responded with, "sorry, what did you need again?" At that point we left and headed to the Annapolis location where we got excellent, timely service and delicious food. For our first Lemongrass experience...we will be Annapolis customers. First time having Lemongrass and it was through a delivery app. Ordered pretty standard Thai meal - fried tofu drunken noodles (without tomatoes or peppers) and steamed dumplings. Food was prepared and delivered very quickly and the dumplings were flavorful, but a little dry (could be from the 20 minute drive time) and the dumpling sauce is almost like a flavorful hoisin glaze that sticks nicely to the dumplings when dipped. Noodles are well cooked, chewy and not falling apart. Spiced very well with "medium" leaving your lips tingling which probably more HOT if you're not into spicy Asian Foods - I'm Korean and can take some serious heat. Tasty Thai basil and garlic is delicious. My only complaints are the portion size of the noodles and they were very oily in the bottom of the container. And very skimpy. $14.95 for what I would consider a half portion. The container wasn't even completely full. Would reconsider a second order based on portion size even though the food was very very good. read more
