I was so excited to see a Thai spot open my work! I've come here twice now, ordering the pad see ew during lunch time and then red curry during dinner another time. For lunch, it's a great value only being $10 for receiving a choice of a spring roll or veggie dumplings, soup of the day (I had tom kha gai), and then your meal. The pad see ew wasn't as flavorful as I hoped it would be, but it's not the worst I've had. I would definitely recommending calling ahead to order to avoid the lunch time rush- it can get busy around 12-1. For dinner, it was weird that the portions seemed smaller than lunch time? The red curry had a nice spice to it- not much else to notice about the dish. Service was quick and attentive though! If there is an option for 0 star, I'd definitely choose it. The food in generall is nothing special. But the bill is ridiculous. First, they added the tip amount THEMSELVES to the total without asking the customers. At that time I was okay with it because it was within 15-18% range. However, few days later, the bank app informed that the amount actually charged was even higher than that. THEY DOUBLE-TIPPED THEMSELVES!! Afterall they got 30% for their so-so service. This is my go-to Thai restaurant when I am I. The DD/Arlington area for work. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the THAI RAMA and there are a plethora of vegan and vegetarian options. The spice level is true to the scale and consistent, nothing irritates me more than ordering medium spice and getting medium one day and Thai spice another. Thai select will not let you down. Thai Select has a nice selection of vegan items, including bubble tea smoothies, which I was able to try through a check-in offer. I had the drunken noodles with tofu, and it wasn't bad. It just wasn't my favorite. It wasn't good enough for me to finish at the restaurant. I've ordered from here (I-Thai, which is apparently merged with Thai Select) a couple of times, with low expectations. Basil eggplant can be hit or miss depending on the time of day. However, this will be my last time ordering from this restaurant, and I finally made a Yelp account due to how offended I was by the size-to-price ratio. Absurdly small portions (ruler for scale in pics). I used a discount code and utilized their promotional "buy 1 get 1 free" offers, so maybe that's why they felt the need to decrease the size of the spicy tuna roll so drastically. Note that the tuna roll picture contains two portions at $7.50 each, so you would be paying $15 for what is shown without using a promotional offer. I know I shouldn't expect much for sushi from a Thai restaurant, but the rolls were haphazardly put together. Small portions of rice given with entrees. Small crab rangoons. Small curry puffs. Small everything. I assume the only reason people go here is proximity, because you can get same/better and more food elsewhere in VA for the same or lower price. read more

I just tried the restaurant again. The cooks are cooking Amerizanized Chinese Food, not Thai food. They should fire the cooks. They dont have a clue of what Thai food is or how it is supposed to Taste. The calamari was dry and overcooked with too much breading. The pad prak seafood had no flavor or taste and the Seafood Soup was made with a chicken broth with tomato sauce and overcooked seafood. Doing errands in Roslynn and saw this place in a little strip. Ordered the Crispy Softshell Crabs. Two crabs to an order. They were the best I'd ever had from an Asian restaurant. Large, juicy and fried perfectly, I had the garlic sauce with them. A little on the expensive side, but well worth it. We ordered Panang Chicken (spicy, with snow peas, in a larger container than most takeout restaurants, comes with side rice), Papaya Salad (very fresh), Crispy Beef app (very good, a last minute add but will definitely order again), and Pad See Ew and Spring Rolls that I didn't try but my partner said was great.
