Another home run by Thai Soon and none too soon, as I needed veggies after a week at the beach. This little place run by three generations is no fuss, priced right,Thai. I would come more often but, it's one of those outta sight outta mind across town deals. You need to saddle your horse and... Go!

Wow. Just... wow. Hands down the best Thai food I've had in Dallas. Tucked away off Coit near Beltline, this little spot is an absolute gem. The owner was incredibly kind and even came out to chat with me--turns out, this is the oldest Thai restaurant in Dallas! Her mom started it decades ago, and now she's proudly carrying on the family tradition. I had the soup and the Pad Kee Mow today, and let me tell you... WOWWWWW. I'm still licking my lips as I write this. Bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and the kind of heat that hits just right. You can taste the love in every bite. If you're craving Thai, this place is a must.

I think this is a pretty solid Thai spot in the area that seems like it's been around for a while. We ordered the corn patties and the pad see ew! The corn patties were a unique item that I haven't seen in the menu at other Thai places so I was excited to try them, and I think they were pretty good, but a little bit dry as well as under seasoned. The pad see ew was solid, I don't think it stands out from the others I've tried in the nearby areas, but it was still good! It's very cozy inside the restaurant and would be a great place for a casual meal.

We were looking for a place for dinner before movie night and found this place 10 mins away from theater. Place was busy with couple of empty tables. The lady in the front was busy scrambling food and other stuff to the tables . Took her 5 mins to seat us down event though there were empty tables Took them sometime to get our water orders and food orders. Food took a while as well. We ordered Pad Kee Mow with Chicken spice level 4 and Chan Noodles with Tofu spice level 5. Both of them were served hot and tasted very delicious! Although I would level 5 for Pad kee mow next time.

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the DFW area. They have great portion sizes and everything tastes very authentic. The most special thing about the place is their variety of meat options and you can pair any meat with any of their entrees. There's even squid! Which tasted marvelously with my pad kee mow. I'd also recommend the corn patties and the mango sticky rice.

I drive an hour round trip just to get some of their pad see eew. So good and they always get my order ready quickly when I call in.

I particularly loved my pad Thai with chicken and tofu, it had a really great flavor! I asked for medium spice but I didn't find it spicy. Massaman curry was also really good and chock full of veggies! They also had many appetizers and drinks on Happy Hour which I believe went until 7 pm. Appetizers seemed to be $2 off, I didn't look closely at the drinks but it was basic cocktails. They did have an extensive cocktail list that looked very good! I will happily return here!

The white pad Thai was consistent and still really good, my friends really liked it! It's not sweet compared to regular pad Thai and overall has a deep flavor. The yellow curry that I got, on the other hand, was just ok. It was missing some flavor that I couldn't exactly pinpoint. The rice portion is also a little small, I feel like I've gotten larger rice portions with curry before. Service is great, the waiters were super attentive and kind. The restaurant was also quite comfortable and not the look of your typical Thai restaurant.

Everything was flavorful and delicious, and I loved how the dishes had such a nice balance of flavors. Nothing felt too overwhelming, and everything paired really well together. Toward the end of our meal, we started singing happy birthday to my friend, and the staff noticed and came over to offer us complimentary ice cream. We went with the Tom Kha soup and papaya salad as starters and pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao as entrees. First, I'll kick off the review with a note about spice levels, when they say 1-5 this is not a time to be cute. 2 is plenty spicy for most consumers. The Tom Kha soup was honestly the best soup I've ever had! Not just best Thai soup, but best soup in general. I highly recommend it. Excellent flavors dance on the tongue with every taste. The papaya salad was okay, but had us googling and referring to Yelp reviews to see if it actually had Papaya included. It's a white variation of the fruit, so yes, it is incorporated within the salad. It's okay but wasn't the highlight of the night. The pad Thai is exceptional once you mix the peanuts in throughout. That provides the perfect blend of flavors. The Pad Kee Mao was delicious. Excellently seasoned and tasty. Again, here is where I go to the spice levels. I am someone who loves spicy foods, but at level 3 I found myself at the edge of what I would like. That said, it was a delicious dish. Absolutely loved the taste experience and would highly recommend.

Absolutely not. This was genuinely one of the worst Thai restaurant experiences I've had…read more I walked in, asked for a menu, and ordered the Thai fried rice. First thing that threw me off: she never asked what spice level I wanted. Every Thai restaurant I've been to asks your spice level, so the fact that she just automatically gave me basically no spice honestly made me feel like I was being profiled based on my skin color -- like, "Oh, he's white, he probably doesn't want spicy food." Maybe that wasn't her intention, but that is absolutely how it came across. Then I go to pay and somehow this fried rice is $19 BEFORE TIP. For fried rice. Fine -- if you're charging me $19, I'm expecting it to at least be amazing. It wasn't. Then I asked for soy sauce, and they gave me one of those cheap clear soy sauce packets that basically tastes like salt water. I specifically asked if they had Kikkoman, and she told me the packet WAS Kikkoman. Girl. It was not Kikkoman. I know what Kikkoman looks and tastes like. That interaction honestly made the whole thing even more irritating because it felt like she assumed I wouldn't know the difference, which again added to the feeling that I was being judged based on what I look like. So you're charging $19 for fried rice while cheaping out on the soy sauce, and the food itself isn't even good? The rice was genuinely bottom-tier compared with other Thai fried rice I've had. It basically tasted like generic Chinese fried rice. There wasn't much Thai flavor, there was no spice because nobody bothered to ask me what spice level I wanted, and nothing about it justified the price. Between the ridiculous price, cheap condiments, mediocre food, and the interactions that made me feel stereotyped because I'm white, I definitely will not be coming back.
