This place was a pleasant surprise and a nice alternative to my Frederick-area fave for Thai, Kittiwat. I came with family for a celebratory lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted and seated quickly (it wasn't busy). Service was outstanding; so considerate and friendly at all times. We ordered chicken satay and veggie puffs for the apps. Of the two, chicken satay had much more flavor; the veggie puffs were crisp and had a good amount of filling but not a lot of flavor in that filling. For entrees we ordered green curry with chicken, vegan pad Thai, and vegan pineapple fried rice. The fried rice was fantastic -- plenty of veggies and the sweetness of pineapple followed right through with a subtle kick of heat. The pad Thai was also delicious -- the sauce was perfectly balanced with sweet, sour, savory flavors. Lots of fresh veggies and chewy noodles as well. Green curry with chicken had good chicken but just not enough of it; it was a bit *too full of veggies. Nevertheless, given the great service we received and the ease with which you can get most dishes altered for any dietary needs, we would happily come back. read more

My new favorite Thai place! The restaurant itself is located in the Westview Promenade, across from the movie theatre. The inside is decorated with traditional Thai & Laos artwork with a modern touch. The owner and staff are so incredibly friendly and attentive. My partner and I have ordered takeout from here several times and have eaten in once. All great experiences. Summer roll are great - best sauce at any Thai restaurant so far. Curry puffs are good. Chicken goyoza are worth a try. I would rate 5 star for the ambience and 2 star for the food. Our group ordered tom kha, tom yum soups for starters and drunken noodles with sea food as well as egg fried rice with vegetables. Our soups were on point . Drunken noodles had good amount of sea food but we were a bit disappointed with the egg fried rice. It tasted good but barely any veggie except a couples pieces of carrots. We asked for boxes and the server took my rice plate wich had over half of the rice left never to bring it back . When I asked about it the server informed that she took the dishes back . I wasn't done eating and also It isn't cheap $16 for vegetable fried rice is expensive to be thrown away like that. Neither did anyone came to excuse or asked for replacement. . The owner came out to chat with us while we waited for our food which we thought was a lovely touch and you can tell he's just a good guy (and the other two ladies who work there are sweet as well)! Try the lychee beer, Lao beer, and lychee sake- we loved them and I don't even like beer. We decided to try a bunch of appetizers and got chicken fried rice to go to eat later. This brand-new restaurant in the Westview Shopping Center is destined to become our new go-to for Thai! We went there for lunch today; they are still in their "soft open" phase. The menu is varied, with many options for vegetarian and gluten-free. Service was quick and the food excellent. They tailor the heat level for you (warning: on their 1-5 scale, even a level 3 packs a punch!). The owner came over and chatted with us, telling us his family also runs Lazy Fish and Tsunami. Full bodied flavor, perfect spiciness (fitting with their menu designations), and for me the meal sizes have been perfect/big. I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered the tamarind-glazed tofu appetizer & there was tons of it! Nice & crispy, well coated in tasty sauce. I've also had the drunken noodles, pad thai, & spicy chow fun - all of which I loved! Didn't take any pics because I was too excited to eat it haha I also REALLY appreciate that they label what's vegan vs vegetarian, and also what's gluten free- I feel much safering ordering knowing they accommodate & respect my needs. Yesterday we had the best meal in Thai restaurant ever experienced. The ambiance was done with such a taste and was beautiful and relaxing. Taste of the food was AMAZINGLY good and flavorful (even though they reduced the level of spiciness to our liking). The service was efficient, very nice and accommodating. Thai Table changes their Chef and looks like she decided to change all Gluten-free entrée to have Gluten and the worst part is the menu is NOT updated. My friend ordered the lotus salad and was not very happy with the salad because she has a sensitive stomach and wanted something light, like a salad. I tasted the salad, one of the lotus roots, and it was fried and had too much seasoning or sauce. I was not sure she was going to like it. I ordered the green curry with chicken. This is my Thai go-to dish because it's what I like and crave. I was disappointed to get a tiny bowl of rice and the curry was more like a soup. Instead of a thick curry-like consistency, it was watery. We both thought the curry seemed watery. But it tasted fine. I asked for some more rice, and they charged extra for the rice. First time here for lunch. Really good I'm happy to say. I had the Penang curry and my wife had the green curry lunch specials. Nothing else comes with it like soup or a roll but it was really good. Heat was not quite 3 but more then 2 but that did not stop us from asking for the spice tray. If Thai is on your radar then don't miss this place. this used to be our favorite place as it served gluten free food along with nice hospitality. last night visit was such a bummer - they changed the ingredients of many dishes from gluten free to gluten based - the menu which they gave us was same which says gluten free - when we requested if they can make gluten free the response from the usually friendly person was very loud and rude that they had to change because of people feedback - they messed up very good dishes. it is unfortunate that such a good place turned out to be a bummer. it is the ambience and hospitality more to do with the time spent to have a nice dinner. read more
