Stumbled upon here after a round of golf and this hit the spot! The location is very clean and the service was friendly and attentive. The broth was perfect and did not require any additional seasoning unless you want it spicy! The portions were a little on the lighter side for the price, but nonetheless, it was delicious. Parking was shared with the other businesses within the center. Overall, was a great experience and will be back again! Enjoy!

I'm always excited when we get new Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Got takeout for the first time tonight. We ordered the bun bae hue dac biet, monk pho, and grilled beef with vermicelli. Hubby picked up our order and said the interior is modern and clean. Pros: - The soup was piping hot (granted we only live a couple mins away from here) - Everything was packaged nicely - Both broths were very flavorful Cons: - I noticed a to go charge and an additional 3% charge on our receipt even though we paid in cash (the to go charge is a first for me) - Toppings/veggies for the monk pho were sparse Can't speak for service since we did not dine in, but I would like to go back to try some of their other items another time. Total spent: $56.67 for all three entrees and taxes/extra fees.

Amazing pho and even better service! This place has quickly become my go-to spot. I love their Com Ga Roti and Bun Bae Hue. The service is always excellent -- friendly, fast, and welcoming. I tried the Dogin' Beef Dac Biet for the first time and it was so good. Also, their coffee is hands-down the best I've had at any pho place. Highly recommend if you're looking for a new regular spot!

Coffee is delicious!!!! The Best Viet coffee in the area! First time having Bo Ne the sizzling plate, It was really good. I can't wait to try other things on the menu. Definitely coming back!

    Fishballs

Service was excellent. Restaurant was clean and well decorated. Food was so disappointing!!!! Peanut sauce for the summer rolls had no flavor and was thin and runny. Rolls had too much lettuce and not enough vermicelli noodles. My wife soup was disappointing, broth had no flavor, very bland and tasted like it came from a can. She asked for no fishballs but it came with fish balls anyway. There were two small pieces of squid and two very small shrimps in the broth. Soup is The Seafarers.See pictures I had the Banh Hoi Dac Biet meal. Small portions of the meats. Flavor was just barely noticeable. Bottom line for a new Vietnamese restaurant they have a very long way to go. We are sadly disappointed and will not be returning.

I'm so glad that I decided to try them out when they first opened on Monday! Now, seeing myself coming back for the third time of the week, and I can't get enough of their pho, viet glazed chicken wings appetizer, and coffee. The pho here surpasses any others around. The beefy pho broth flavor is consistently on point, with rich, and deeply layered. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who seek an authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

What we got: Grilled Beef Rolls - 3.5* I loved the dipping sauce but thought the rolls were just fine. My partner enjoyed them a lot more. Basil with thick rice noodles (chicken) - 4* great flavour! There was plenty of chicken and noodles, though the later was stuck together in an big clump that I had to break up. Pad Thai (combination) - 3* my partner didn't love the sweetness and thought the meat was a bit overcooked. I did not like the flavour of this dish at all and did not go back for more bites after my initial taste.

The food and service has always been fine, but my experience last night ordering through Uber Eats was so poor, that I won't patronize them again. The food took more than an hour for delivery, which I expected; it was a Friday night and I knew they were busy. However, we ordered Crispy Tamarind Chicken as an entree and they forgot to include the sauce with the vegetables which goes on the chicken. Without it, it's just a pile of fried chicken. I tried calling the restaurant, but more than 15 calls went directly to voicemail and I couldn't leave a message because their voicemail was full. This has happened before when we have tried to call in a take out order. When they finally answered, the woman said she would check with the kitchen and then told me they could remake the sauce, but I would have to come pick it up because they were so busy. By this time, it was at least 45 minutes since the chicken had been cooked and it would have taken me at least 40 minutes to go pick up the sauce, so I refused. She said they would not refund me; I had to complain to Uber Eats. They know they are going to be busy on Friday nights; lack of staff is a continuing problem which never seems to be addressed and they need to upgrade their phone system and answer their phone. The kitchen staff is sloppy; there is no excuse for forgetting one of the main components of a dish. It would have been nice if they had at least apologized. As much as my husband likes this place, there are plenty of other great options in Frederick and they are where I'll be eating in the future.

Surprisingly fantastic experience at a completely reasonable price!…read more I was a little under the weather feeling tired and had what felt like the start of a chest cold... PHO 52 was recommended by my daughter, I had driven by many times but yesterday I stopped ...and learned for myself. First of all: The staff is very gracious and friendly, very nice ...and the place was packed with customers who appreciated that: Smiles all around. Hot tea, Shrimp Pho, and pork Bahn Mi... The Bahn Mi came out right after the tea... I have been looking for good Bahn Mi for two years here... I finally had one! Really delicious... and the home made chili sauce was excellent. I saved half my sandwiches that I could enjoy the soup... Also delicious. The chef is talented and appreciative of compliments! That chili sauce is very good, two big spoons dissolved into the soup... a few dashes of other condiments and wow! Outstanding meal! Really hit the spot! The tea? I had half the pot, considering the size of the soup ...there was no way I could finish that. Today? ...Just saying: The cold is gone! Miracle? You decide for yourself!

The parking lot is very small about 10 parking spaces shared between four stores. Upon entering we were the only group so seating was easy. For appetizer, we had the summer roll and the egg roll. The summer roll was good and the sauce was thicker than I'm use to but still tasty. Egg roll was crunchy and sauce elevated the flavor. For the entree, I had the Large Pho Tai. Price is 15 dollar which is not bad compared to other Pho restaurants in Montgomery county, MD. I always say that you can tell if the pho is good and authentic is by the broth flavor. The broth here is rich & flavorful and no msg used here per the owner. The portion size is decent and staff were very friendly. Very attentive to our need and refilled our water when it was low. The owner chatted us up to a little bit and we learn that this restaurant has been in business for about 2.5 years. The owner used to work at pho nom nom in Rockville back in the day. All in all, I would recommend anyone in the area to give this restaurant a try and will come again later in the future.

SU ordered Kung Pao Shrimp, her "go-to" and every Asian restaurant, and compares each one to China Garden's version. Her verdict: Modern Asia's was "OK", and she told me I could eat the leftovers for my lunch. I did. My verdict was the same: OK, but nothing to write home to Mother about. (My comparison, BTW, is to a restaurant we enjoyed in Ithaca New York that made Kung Pao with peppers that would flay your face from the inside if you dared to eat one. Modern Asia's didn't even tickle, making it a let down). I ordered Seafood Combination Chinese Yellow Curry, a new dish for me. It was yummy. Described as one-pepper spicy on the menu, it had less heat than the Kung Pao, but the curry sauce had layers of flavor. It featured shrimp, scallops, and calmari plus a wonderful mix of peppers, onions, and other veg. All were nicely (crisply) cooked, even taking into account the Door Dash delivery time. I really enjoyed it. Next time I may ask for a bit more heat, but as it is, I hoovered up every morsel. Try it - you'll like it!
