Food is great. Portions are perfect for takeaway. Chicken curry and veggies shrimp pho are fantastic. Super flavorful.

It's been a minute since I ate at the Lucky Corner, the REAL one back in the day, not the shopping center version which swore us off of visiting after the disjointed meal service we received, cold food etc. Located in the original "Lucky Corner" building and purportedly by the same original owner, this was the joy and indulgence of a meal I'd been craving for some time. The Vegan Pho we ordered and the Tofu Summer rolls were out of this world! The broth was so delightful I didn't need to add anything. The toppings, both for our pho and the limes for our water, were abundant and fresh, vibrant even. What made the meal spectacular was the kindness and generosity of our host(s). I mistakenly asked for extra spicy (it was and it was exactly what I wanted) and ordered the same for my partner leaving out the fact that she did NOT want it spicy. They made the necessary modifications at no charge, with no fuss and not even an appreciable gap in service. They even sent us home with complimentary extras! Run don't walk to Tin Corner and treat yourself to an indulgent, authentic experience!

After a lovely hike at Cunningham Falls, my friend and I pulled into Fredrick for food and quickly saw Tin Corner online. Since we can never resist Vietnamese food, we popped by and had a delicious experience! We were going to get dumplings, but they were out, so we got the veggie spring rolls instead - so crispy, nice filling, yummy sauce. The order was four spring rolls halves (so 2 rolls), but the flavors were great and definitely worth it. My friend got the pho (vegetarian) and I got the drunken noodles with tofu. Both were very good! The drunken noodles were perfect, with a little kick, but not too spicy (good, since my spice tolerance isn't amazing). The tofu wasn't soggy/oily too, which was nice. My friend's pho was good and came with a very traditional mountain of greens and bean sprouts, which she enjoyed. I will say I was confused that they also had things like Latin food on the menu, which I can't vouch for, but if you stick with the foods that are more classically Vietnamese/Thai, it seems like they do that very well! Service was quick and the prices were wonderful. It seems to be a local lunch favorite, as several parties came seemingly from work, so I hope they continue to do well!

This is a great little Frederick find! We came here (a party of 12) for Mother's Day. The food was fantastic and the service was rendered with a smile! Every dish was absolutely delicious, served hot and flavorful! With our massive party I can't remember exactly what everyone ordered but I was very pleased with my vegetarian fried summer rolls and tofu curry. The special of the day was absolutely spectacular and all of our party really loved their meals! I seldom give a 5/5 stars but we will definitely be back!

Where is the rest if my $3 vinegar onion

Restaurant empty at 130pm should have been a good sign for me that this will not be a good pho experience 1. pho dac Biet large : came out lukewarm and broth not as clear but rather cloudy Barely any meat and bowl size in regular at most and not large 2. Vinegar onion . Wow! $3 for a few shredded onions 3. Even the hoisin was not thick. It looks and taste like someone diluted the hoisin sauce to make more out of it 3. Vietnamese coffee. At least they can't screw this one up. Tasted ok. Just not enough condense milk At least service was prompt

There was plenty of chicken and noodles, though the later was stuck together in an big clump that I had to break up. Pad Thai (combination) - 3* my partner didn't love the sweetness and thought the meat was a bit overcooked. The food and service has always been fine, but my experience last night ordering through Uber Eats was so poor, that I won't patronize them again. The food took more than an hour for delivery, which I expected; it was a Friday night and I knew they were busy. However, we ordered Crispy Tamarind Chicken as an entree and they forgot to include the sauce with the vegetables which goes on the chicken. Without it, it's just a pile of fried chicken. I tried calling the restaurant, but more than 15 calls went directly to voicemail and I couldn't leave a message because their voicemail was full. This has happened before when we have tried to call in a take out order. When they finally answered, the woman said she would check with the kitchen and then told me they could remake the sauce, but I would have to come pick it up because they were so busy. By this time, it was at least 45 minutes since the chicken had been cooked and it would have taken me at least 40 minutes to go pick up the sauce, so I refused. She said they would not refund me; I had to complain to Uber Eats. They know they are going to be busy on Friday nights; lack of staff is a continuing problem which never seems to be addressed and they need to upgrade their phone system and answer their phone. The kitchen staff is sloppy; there is no excuse for forgetting one of the main components of a dish. It would have been nice if they had at least apologized. As much as my husband likes this place, there are plenty of other great options in Frederick and they are where I'll be eating in the future.

PHO 52 was recommended by my daughter, I had driven by many times but yesterday I stopped ...and learned for myself. The Bahn Mi came out right after the tea... I have been looking for good Bahn Mi for two years here... I finally had one! Really delicious... and the home made chili sauce was excellent. I saved half my sandwiches that I could enjoy the soup... Also delicious. The chef is talented and appreciative of compliments! That chili sauce is very good, two big spoons dissolved into the soup... a few dashes of other condiments and wow! Outstanding meal! Really hit the spot! The tea? I had half the pot, considering the size of the soup ...there was no way I could finish that. Today? ...Just saying: The cold is gone! Miracle? You decide for yourself!

The parking lot is very small about 10 parking spaces shared between four stores. Upon entering we were the only group so seating was easy. For appetizer, we had the summer roll and the egg roll. The summer roll was good and the sauce was thicker than I'm use to but still tasty. Egg roll was crunchy and sauce elevated the flavor. For the entree, I had the Large Pho Tai. Price is 15 dollar which is not bad compared to other Pho restaurants in Montgomery county, MD. I always say that you can tell if the pho is good and authentic is by the broth flavor. The broth here is rich & flavorful and no msg used here per the owner. The portion size is decent and staff were very friendly. Very attentive to our need and refilled our water when it was low. The owner chatted us up to a little bit and we learn that this restaurant has been in business for about 2.5 years. The owner used to work at pho nom nom in Rockville back in the day. All in all, I would recommend anyone in the area to give this restaurant a try and will come again later in the future.

Her verdict: Modern Asia's was "OK", and she told me I could eat the leftovers for my lunch. I did. My verdict was the same: OK, but nothing to write home to Mother about. (My comparison, BTW, is to a restaurant we enjoyed in Ithaca New York that made Kung Pao with peppers that would flay your face from the inside if you dared to eat one. Modern Asia's didn't even tickle, making it a let down). I ordered Seafood Combination Chinese Yellow Curry, a new dish for me. It was yummy. Described as one-pepper spicy on the menu, it had less heat than the Kung Pao, but the curry sauce had layers of flavor. It featured shrimp, scallops, and calmari plus a wonderful mix of peppers, onions, and other veg. All were nicely (crisply) cooked, even taking into account the Door Dash delivery time. I really enjoyed it. Next time I may ask for a bit more heat, but as it is, I hoovered up every morsel. Try it - you'll like it!

My husband ordered the wide rice noodles with beef (think drunken noodle vibes), and honestly, that dish alone is worth the trip. Perfectly cooked noodles, tons of flavor, and just the right amount of heat. I may or may not have helped myself to more than a few bites while he stepped away... sorry, not sorry. I went with the red curry with coconut and chicken, loaded with fresh vegetables. It was rich, fragrant, and completely slurpable. Exactly what I was craving.
