    Lobster fried rice

Had dinner at the Tin Corner last night and really enjoyed it. I had the "everything" pho and it was loaded with meats. Sprouts were fresh and the broth was very flavorful. My husband had the lobster fried rice and loved it. Service was very friendly and prices are very reasonable.

Identity crisis lol. This place was a ethnic melting pot with Latin, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean and some Japanese mixed into the menu. Good news is the pricing was reasonable for the portion sizes and the food was good. The service was also friendly, efficient and fast. We were in and out in less than 1hr. The place is also pretty cute with the paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling...With an eccentric twist of Christmas wrapped ceiling tiles? Lol. Our favorite was the snapper and huge wontons. The pho was good but nothing particularly stood out except for the rib presentation. We were a bit let down by the blandness of the tofu dish (which was hyped up to be very flavorful). There was also waaay too much onion and unappetizing shreds of ginger in the dish that made it unpleasant. The tofu wasn't fried crispy enough either so it had a slight rubbery texture. I'd pass on that dish.

Food is great. Portions are perfect for takeaway. Chicken curry and veggies shrimp pho are fantastic. Super flavorful.

It's been a minute since I ate at the Lucky Corner, the REAL one back in the day, not the shopping center version which swore us off of visiting after the disjointed meal service we received, cold food etc. Located in the original "Lucky Corner" building and purportedly by the same original owner, this was the joy and indulgence of a meal I'd been craving for some time. The Vegan Pho we ordered and the Tofu Summer rolls were out of this world! The broth was so delightful I didn't need to add anything. The toppings, both for our pho and the limes for our water, were abundant and fresh, vibrant even. What made the meal spectacular was the kindness and generosity of our host(s). I mistakenly asked for extra spicy (it was and it was exactly what I wanted) and ordered the same for my partner leaving out the fact that she did NOT want it spicy. They made the necessary modifications at no charge, with no fuss and not even an appreciable gap in service. They even sent us home with complimentary extras! Run don't walk to Tin Corner and treat yourself to an indulgent, authentic experience!

After a lovely hike at Cunningham Falls, my friend and I pulled into Fredrick for food and quickly saw Tin Corner online. Since we can never resist Vietnamese food, we popped by and had a delicious experience! We were going to get dumplings, but they were out, so we got the veggie spring rolls instead - so crispy, nice filling, yummy sauce. The order was four spring rolls halves (so 2 rolls), but the flavors were great and definitely worth it. My friend got the pho (vegetarian) and I got the drunken noodles with tofu. Both were very good! The drunken noodles were perfect, with a little kick, but not too spicy (good, since my spice tolerance isn't amazing). The tofu wasn't soggy/oily too, which was nice. My friend's pho was good and came with a very traditional mountain of greens and bean sprouts, which she enjoyed. I will say I was confused that they also had things like Latin food on the menu, which I can't vouch for, but if you stick with the foods that are more classically Vietnamese/Thai, it seems like they do that very well! Service was quick and the prices were wonderful. It seems to be a local lunch favorite, as several parties came seemingly from work, so I hope they continue to do well!

This is a great little Frederick find! We came here (a party of 12) for Mother's Day. The food was fantastic and the service was rendered with a smile! Every dish was absolutely delicious, served hot and flavorful! With our massive party I can't remember exactly what everyone ordered but I was very pleased with my vegetarian fried summer rolls and tofu curry. The special of the day was absolutely spectacular and all of our party really loved their meals! I seldom give a 5/5 stars but we will definitely be back!

My wife and I stopped here for lunch recently on the recommendation of a friend…read more We don't know too much about Vietnamese food and the waitress was very helpful. We settled on dinner portions of combination fried rice with chicken/beef/pork and an entrée of beef cubed steak. We split both dishes and there was still enough leftovers of both to take home in a carryout container for another lunch a couple of days later. The fried rice was the best I've ever had... In addition to its flavor, it had the largest pieces of chicken, pork and beef I have ever seen in fried rice. (see the photo) The beef cubed steak entrée was also quite tasty and cooked exactly how I ordered it....medium rare. However, a few of the pieces were a little tough and grisly. Restuarant itself is spacious, clean and nice... Same with the restroom...spacious and clean. The cost of the two dinner entrées and two soft drinks was $50 with a $10 tip making it a $60 lunch, which is pretty expensive... except when you consider that we were able to take quite a bit of the entrées home with us and have them for lunch a few days later which brought the cost down to $30 per lunch. Would have awarded five stars if the beef cube steak was a little more tender and and if there were no gristly pieces All in all, it was an excellent dining experience and I will go back there and dine again in the future.

The food and service has always been fine, but my experience last night ordering through Uber Eats was so poor, that I won't patronize them again. The food took more than an hour for delivery, which I expected; it was a Friday night and I knew they were busy. However, we ordered Crispy Tamarind Chicken as an entree and they forgot to include the sauce with the vegetables which goes on the chicken. Without it, it's just a pile of fried chicken. I tried calling the restaurant, but more than 15 calls went directly to voicemail and I couldn't leave a message because their voicemail was full. This has happened before when we have tried to call in a take out order. When they finally answered, the woman said she would check with the kitchen and then told me they could remake the sauce, but I would have to come pick it up because they were so busy. By this time, it was at least 45 minutes since the chicken had been cooked and it would have taken me at least 40 minutes to go pick up the sauce, so I refused. She said they would not refund me; I had to complain to Uber Eats. They know they are going to be busy on Friday nights; lack of staff is a continuing problem which never seems to be addressed and they need to upgrade their phone system and answer their phone. The kitchen staff is sloppy; there is no excuse for forgetting one of the main components of a dish. It would have been nice if they had at least apologized. As much as my husband likes this place, there are plenty of other great options in Frederick and they are where I'll be eating in the future.

Tiny spot, BIG flavor... and that spice will humble you…read more We popped into My Thai for a late lunch after a medical appointment, craving something spicy, savory, and satisfying... and wow, this place delivered like a punch in the mouth (in the best way possible ). First impression: it's a small space, but really well decorated, spotless, and welcoming. Service was genuinely friendly and warm from the moment we walked in. Now the food... My husband ordered the wide rice noodles with beef (think drunken noodle vibes), and honestly, that dish alone is worth the trip. Perfectly cooked noodles, tons of flavor, and just the right amount of heat. I may or may not have helped myself to more than a few bites while he stepped away... sorry, not sorry. I went with the red curry with coconut and chicken, loaded with fresh vegetables. It was rich, fragrant, and completely slurpable. Exactly what I was craving. The crispy spring roll came out piping hot and perfectly fried, with that satisfying crunch on the outside. Fair warning: the spice here builds. It starts friendly... and then sneaks up on you in the best way Bonus points for the lunch specials, which are very reasonably priced and a great value for the quality and portion size. All in, super fresh, perfectly prepared dishes, warm service, and bold flavors. Highly recommend... we'll absolutely be back.
