Just a quick update. Still one of the best Thai Restaurants in the area. Seated quickly, served quickly and food was out quickly. Love the atmosphere, the service and the food. If you are looking for Thai food, please try Thai Taste. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Great food and great service. We got a table full of food for 2 people. The restaurant was clean with a casual chilled vibe. The chicken laarb was spicy with fresh herbs The coconut soup was delicious ant warmed the soul. The yellow curry was spicy and velvety the potatoes were tender chicken was perfectly cooked. A truly delicious meal

We were seated promptly at our table but our waitress wasn't the most friendly - not sure what her name was as she never introduced herself either. I got the Tom Kha Kai(Chicken) with a side of white rice. It was good but very coconutty compared to others that I've had. Still delicious though!

New to town and have been looking for a good Thai place for some time. Thai Taste is the best option for Thai in Spartanburg - but overall don't expect to be blown away! Small portion sizes, more expensive comparatively to other Thai restaurants, flavor in food is there but overall ok. The first time I came here, I was heartbroken - because I thought this place would be the one! It took a while to get seated, I guess the hostess was in the back but the counter girl was walking back and forth but never said anything to us. Once we got seated, while ordering I asked if the Pad See Ew (veggie with egg) option came with a lot of vegetables or should I just get the tofu option - she said the veggie option had a lot of vegetables. My Pad See Ew came out - there was only broccoli. No other veggies, and no egg. I was sad (I love veggies) The sauce was good, but couldn't get over the lack of veggies and honestly the size. Best yet - I got to the counter to pay and my total was $14!!? I decided to wait to do my review and go a second time. Got seated very quickly and the waitress was so sweet! I ordered a Tofu Pad Woon Sen - so many veggies! (I now think the first experience with lack of veggies was a misunderstanding) It was good. I got a Thai Coffee to go and that was a good ratio between coffee and creamer. Can't remember what my total for the coffee and pad woon sen was but it was under $14 - so not sure what happened there. Not sure if I would get a craving for Thai Taste in Spartanburg but I'm glad I gave a second chance

    Chicken House Noodles

The chicken house noodles are our favorite! Lunch is the best time to go do you get soup and and egg roll with it. We get the spice at a 1 and we thinks it's perfect. The food is great and so is the service.

Some of the best Thai food in Spartanburg. This is the go to place when you need Pad Thai.

After waiting, the cashier said "Hi," so I thought she was speaking to me, but she was actually answering the phone and took a full order before helping me. I also had to ask for a menu because one wasn't offered. Anywho, the restaurant felt extremely crowded with very little space between tables and walkways. Someone stepped on my foot, and another customer asked if I could give up my seat so their group could sit. The biggest issue was the packaging. My containers were placed upside down in the bag, and the butter inside the box had no lid, so it spilled everywhere and was already a mess when I opened the bag in my car. When I went back to notify the waitresses at the counter and ask for napkins, I was told the boxes were always packed upside down "on purpose," but that explanation didn't make sense since it caused the food to flip over and the butter to spill all over everything. (I have photos showing this). The food tasted good, but after everything I experienced, I won't be returning. For those curious about the cost, my receipt was $19.33 and after a $5 tip I paid $24.33 total.

Ambience, ambience, ambience and NO tvs. Hannah was our pleasant young server; I asked Hannah to confirm that she is a lifelong resident of Spartanburg, and the pleasing Carolina voice was a moral boost. Earlier we had enjoyed the Kentucky voice of Angel- both girls were angels. Heirloom has a small menu and a small dining room, but extra large hospitality. Because of a buffet lunch, we settled on burgers - No, cannot prepare medium rare. Very possibly menu items have spent a good deal of time in the freezer. Heirloom is on our way to weeks autumn and spring at Hilton Head, so we shall revisit. Merits 5 stars (not for food) for neat dining experience.

We live in Greenville, so this was definitely outside of our usual scope. I love the name of the restaurant, the decor and atmosphere were nicely done. The staff greeted us with a smile and our server...whose name was "Creamer" was knowledgeable and very helpful. We ordered Brussels sprouts for an appetizer and mini hand made biscuits for appetizers which were pretty good. My youngest son and I both ordered Salmon (altered from the what's on the menu) sweet potato puree I ordered the corn and my son ordered asparagus, my husband ordered Gumbo and my oldest son ordered a steak. The presentation of the food was nice and the food was good, I enjoyed my meal but I tasted my husbands gumbo and we both felt that it lacked flavor...for it to be creole gumbo and a side of creamed corn (he and I could have shared that bowl...there was a lot). My oldest son felt that his steak was overpriced. Youngest son enjoyed his too. The food was good but I don't know if I'll be "rushing" to get back as there wasn't anything that just stood out to me.

We were walking back around to wait in the parking lot when one of my friends spotted this place across the street. I've eaten at the other restaurant a million times, but I had NEVER even noticed this place! It's tucked away in the corner behind the burrito place, and all I can say is, what a delightful surprise. The girls working behind the counter were SO nice, super welcoming, and really helpful with picking out what we wanted. The whole place has such a cute little vibe, and we decided to sit outside. They brought our food and coffees right out to us, which was so nice. And the coffee was amazing. Everyone loved theirs, including two of my friends who are serious coffee snobs, so that was a HUGE win. For the food, my crepe was absolutely delicious, and my friends loved their meals too. The strawberries and bananas were SO fresh, you could genuinely tell they had just been sliced. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. I fear the other popular brunch spot in that parking lot has some MAJOR competition now. Definitely give this place a try!!
