This is the Huli Huli Chicken with Purple Potato Salad!! Yum!!

Food was AMAZING!!! I will be back! I also enjoyed the bamboo walls and the candy they gave my son and I was excellent!

I learned about Legends from Big Dave Eats. I love island food and knew I had to try it. I ordered the Pinoy Chicken with Red Rice & Mac Salad. Hubby had Fiesta Plate with Shortribs, Huli Huli Chicken, Red Rice & Mac Salad. We also got a side of the Kimchi Cucumbers (my mouth just watered as I typed that)! The Short Ribs are next level! I haven't had them this good since we made them in our Asian module of culinary school. For an extra kick of flavor dip them in the vinegar based sauce they give you. Hubby also suggests pouring that on your rice. Both the Huli Huli & the Pinoy chicken were delicious, we had a hard time deciding which was better. Hubby says the sticky & sweet Huli Huli, I say the Smokey peppery Pinoy. The Mac Salad was to die for. Full of flavor, not overcooked or mushy like lots of places. The biggest little show stopper was that side of Kimchi Cucumbers!! They were tart like pickles with delicious Kimchi flavor. A must try! I saw on the sign out front with just missed Lumpia special, which I love so I'll be looking out for that. And another favorite Poncit is coming up! The young gal working was sweet & helpful. I'm sad I didn't get her name.

Amazing food. Owners are so sweet and amazing. Huli chicken was tender. Short ribs were meaty. The pika mayo shrimp was wonderful. Perfect balance with spice. All the textures in one was just what I would want. Very similar to a deconstructed sushi! I would definitely come back.

Everything from the inviting atmosphere, amazing art that tells a Legend ( restaurant name), greetings and friendliness of the host/cashier, and especially the food. Everything reminded me of my growing up on Guam. Love it all gonna make sure to visit every time I visit Greenville. Thank you for bringing back memories of our Home Guahan.

Excellent meal! I really enjoy their potato salad and macaroni salad, great sides.

Food was mediocre...I was disappointed due to the hype I've read about it. The people were kind, but I wouldn't go back.

The space is very inviting and just the right size. Our server, Austin, was phenomenal. The food was outstanding. Had their seasonal peach, watermelon, etc. salad that was light and refreshing. We shared one between the 3 of us. Highly recommend. Two of us had the rabbit agnolotti with mushrooms, which was hands down one of the best pastas I have ever had. My brother in law had the pork, which he raved about. The corn that came with it was amazing. This restaurant rightly deserves its place in the Michelin guide. If I get back to Greenville I would definitely be going back. We also stopped at the Rabbit Hole after for a drink, which is just 4 doors down the block and were blown away. A definite must visit!

All of the salads are amazing. I think the only misses are the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Seared Black Cod. The "Doublecream" Arancini was phenomenal. The bourbon liver mousse was astounding. The hamachi tiradito was great. The Braised Chatel Farms Beef Shortribs are fork tender. All of the desserts were really sweet. I didn't like any of them, far too indulgent. The service was great. We got low on water in the end. The restaurant is a bit cramped but there's seating on the outside and upstairs.

A Place to Eat Near Greenville, SC That Actually Delivers…read more I almost didn't write this review. Selfish, I know. When you find a restaurant this good, the instinct is to keep it quiet, save it for yourself, and casually "forget" to mention it when someone asks where to eat near Greenville or Travelers Rest. But that would be unfair. If you're looking for an upscale restaurant near Greenville, SC that actually lives up to the setting, Core 450 is worth your time. The Food The Cast-Iron Brussels converted me. I've spent years politely pushing Brussels sprouts around a plate, and these stopped me cold. Deeply caramelized, crisp at the edges, tender inside. The applewood bacon brings real smoke and salt, not just garnish energy, and the Manchego adds a creamy depth that ties it together. It feels intentional. It tastes like a kitchen that knows what it's doing. The Nordic Pappardelle is the dish you end up talking about later. Black garlic, smoked butter, birch vinegar, foraged mushrooms, charred leeks. It sounds like a risk. It isn't. It lands somewhere between modern and timeless, and it works. The Maple Bourbon Salmon might be the freshest I've had in the Greenville area. The balance is dialed in. Nothing overpowers. It just comes together the way you wish more dishes would. The Experience And then there's the setting. You're looking out over the golf course with mountain views in the distance, especially at golden hour, and it shifts the whole experience. This is a date night spot. A place for a slower dinner. Something a little more intentional than your average night out in Travelers Rest. The Cocktails The cocktails deserve their own mention. The Lavender Lemonade looks simple, but it's not. It's one of those drinks you keep going back to. The Spiced Pickle-Tini is next on my list. Bottom Line We'll be back. And next time, I'm ordering wider across the menu.

We love this place for so many reasons, but to keep it short and sweet, the steak here is FIRE…read more It's so fatty, juicy, and flavorful. They serve it to you on a hot salt block and you can cook it to whatever you want. I would personally recommend the ribeye steak. The kids meals are in fact kids meals. Nothing unique about them. Burgers, chicken nuggets, the usual. The mac n cheese here is SO GOOD here too! They are little spiral noodles with creamy cheese sauce and panko crumbs. (Don't worry, it's homemade, not Kraft!) The service can be a little bit spotty sometimes. For example, we got a cookie pie thing and we received it raw. We sent it back to be cooked again, and we got it again raw. We sent it back again and third time and it was given to us overcooked and burnt. Yes. I get it. It was late at night and you wanted to go back home and relax. I'm sorry. It's just a cookie pie, though. Overall we love this place though, and the ambiance and atmosphere is pretty and relaxing at times!

Most of the restaurants seating is at two long bars that are the length of the restaurant. It really works out well, blends that southern hospitality with the more unique pace of seeing chefs make their creations. We tried so many dishes and all were just incredible. The lamb skewers were impeccable -- do NOT miss this dish. It's such great flavor and the house pickles are a must with this!! The next was the paella. It was next level. Bursting with flavor and the best bang for the buck! Sooo much food and you just don't want to stop eating it all. The octopus is made so perfectly -- loved this! The patatas bravas are so comforting too, love this. The waitstaff was so friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was so cozy and intimate! Don't skip the sangrias either!!

I booked a table on the patio as I read that the restaurant was super pet friendly. And it was perfect! I was able to enjoy a glass of lebanese rose off of the extensive drink menu and my lunch was the lamb sandwich with truffle fries and a side of the brussel sprouts appetizer. Both were plentiful and absolutely delicious. The tzatziki was so yum I got more to dip my fries in (it came with chipotle ketchup that was also delicious.) The only downside was the parking. All of the lots were $10, but I was able to find free street parking after riding around for a bit. Overall worth a little hassle for a delicious experience!
