I ordered Thai dumplings and house combination yellow curry. The dumplings were decent, and the yellow curry had great flavor, but the vegetables were cut too large and the proteins were overcooked. Except for coloration, I couldn't distinguish the beef from the chicken. But the clincher for me was when the manager came out and went from table to table, greeting customers, welcoming them to the restaurant. And he completely ignored me. Yes, I was the only African-American customer in sight, and he blew right past me. The food was good enough that I'd be willing to come back except for that gesture by the manager. I don't beg people to take my money who act like they don't want me around. P.S. I have to concede I saw one African-American woman leaving as I arrived, and another was leaving with a to-go order as I pulled away in my car, but neither ate inside the restaurant. The spicy shrimp pho my coworker got was the "best he ever had" and said that it was such a deep spice, he thinks they used firmented chiles instead of super shallow hot sauce tasting spice.
