First time here, the restaurant is clean and open, it was not busy therefore we were helped right away. The server was nice and answered all our questions. The papaya salad was really good 8/10. The coconut chicken soup was very savory and had a good amount of mushroom but not too much chicken 8/10. The best part of this place is the food. I had glass noodles with vegetables and shrimp. It was a GENEROUS portion that I could have shared. I ended up saving some for lunch the next day. I ordered the Drunken Noodles. The flavor was there. However it was overshadowed by over cooked noodles that clumped together. The shrimp was overcooked and dry. The portion size was disappointing too. Most Thai and Chinese take outs fill up the container. I was given the end of the night "This is all we have left " portion! So, thank goodness others have patronized this little spot for the past 7 years. Yes, they have been open that long. This was not on my radar at all, and we drive by frequently...on our way to another favorite restaurant. The message here is, sadly, we've been missing out. Mr B announced that he had a craving for Thai food, particularly something made with coconut milk. Not a problem, Corona and our extended area have many to choose from. But the weather was nasty and rainy, and I wanted to stick close to home. Besides, the others have not been as consistently good as in the past, so I went hunting. This is what ultimately drove us to finally try Thai Thai. The place is small. And today (a Tuesday around lunchtime), it was empty. So, great, the server and the kitchen were all ours! Ah! Not so fast. We were immediately warned they mainly do take-out unless we don't mind eating from to-go containers. Undiscouraged, we grabbed a table. The order of the day included one order of Crab Rangoon, some Pad Woon Sen with shrimp, Red Curry with chicken, to eat there. I also put in an order of Boat Noodle Soup to go. I was not swayed by the Crab Rangoon. It, to me, was the weak link. The filling was primarily cream cheese with a crab waved over the top. I.e. the crab was noticeably absent. On the positive, it was a good cream cheese-filled nibbler, just not crabby, so really not worth the cost. The Pad Woon Sen was delicious. This is made with a fine, rice noodle, flavored with vegetables and egg. The dish was very flavorful. There were probably 6 medium shrimp for the two of us. The Red Curry was a surprise, particularly because Mr B "thought" he said, Yellow Curry. (He did not, as God is my witness). Their interpretation of medium spice was actually quite mild (and a relief for a hot spice-wimp such as myself). This is the first time I can honestly say this chicken was not overcooked and dry. In the end, this turned out to be my favorite. Now for the Boat Noodle Soup we saved for the following day. Never having heard of it, it was a mystery dish for me. But I was swayed by the pictures and reviews from those who apparently love it. It actually started with a superb beef broth with many exotic seasonings, including 5-spice and probably some fish sauce. It included a generous amount of sliced beef and two beef meatballs, bean sprouts, and some mint leaves. The noodles were a small, white rice noodle that had been packaged in a separate container. This dish fell more in the spectrum of medium spicy. Definitely something I would return for. It was excellent tasting. Halal options available for a minor price upcharge. Great meal overall. I only wish the prices were equitable with the smaller portions of protein used. I am looking forward to dragging the rest of the family there for a meal. read more

This restaurant is one of the best in Corona. There are many great Thai restaurants around, but this one is special. It is a smaller location, in a tiny shopping center, yet it leaves a big impact. The food is ALWAYS amazing. My family loves this place. They always deliver on quality, whether we dine in, pick up to go, or order through DoorDash. The server is amazing. She is so sweet and caters to all of your needs or requests. A true delight. She is genuinely great at what she does and I hope everyone comes in to meet her. Came here for dinner with my family. They serve halal meat options, but you have to specify. We have gotten take out here a handful of times but have never sat down. The restaurant was empty on a Wednesday night, so we had a nice table to ourselves. The food was great. We got medium and everything was nicely spiced for our tastebuds. However, you should never judge a book (or restaurant) by its cover (outside). Lol Inside is a small, casual atmosphere. There are booths available to sit and also chairs. You walk up and order and then pickup your food at the cashier area. The owner took our orders and she was very sweet. I asked about vegan/ vegetarian options and she was helpful. I ordered the orange tofu and it was great!!! So yummy and filling. I also ordered the pineapple fried rice without egg and without meat. Instead I substituted vegetables for the meat. The restaurant had a family owned vibe and was nostalgic to be there, it reminded me of the restaurant's I would go to in OC growing up. Food was made with love and a lot of quality. A hole in the wall aka mom and pop type of Thai restaurant which means even better quality of food. The owner is a sweet lady name Aomy and her husband who cooks in the back. They've been in business for over 10 years if I remember correctly. Due to Covid 19 reasons all their water, napkins and so forth is self served in a corner towards the front right of the restaurant. The food you order up front, and they call your number or name once it's finished cooking. Everything is cooked when your order, so it might take them 10-15 minutes depending on your order to get done. They give you reusable containers and to go plates with your food. You can either put it in their recyclable bins afterwards or take it home with you. It's much more sanitizing and I agree with this process 100. I've been to this place a hand full of times already, and their food is excellent. My favorite is their Boat Noodle Soup. I like to get it medium spicy, and let me tell you... it doesn't disappoint me at all. The broth is so delicious. The noodles are cooked just right. The beef meatballs are so juicy and scrumptious. The pieces of beef also are very tender and cooked just right. They never overcook or undercook the beef which I absolutely love. The noodles as it soaks into the broth makes it even more delicious. I know every Thai place has their own versions of boat noodle soups, but this place is absolutely my favorite right now. I've also had their crab ragoons too which was so creamy and delicious. They give you 6 of them, and when I had them...I can't seem to have enough of them. I want to keep eating them. They are that good. The oh so creamy filling makes it even more delicious. I know some places they will low ball you on the cream filling, but this place does not which is effing awesome. Trust me, this dish is also a must try. I've also had their vegetables with tofu soup as a small side order, and it is pretty good also. I love the broth that they used in this very simple soup. I have to say for such a simple dish, it tasted amazing. This soup included white cabbage, carrots and broccoli. It's a very healthy side dish soup. I've as amazed how it tasted so good even if it's just plain vegetables with tofu. I only live like 5 minutes away from this place, so I try to come every week to help out this business. I'm trying to support local businesses because I'm pretty sure they suffered a lot during Covid 19 was crazy. This place is a definite must try. Trust me, it's hard for me to regular restaurants because I'm a very picky person and have high standards. When I say it's a must try, it's definitely my favorite. Thai Thai has been around for over 7 years. The customer service is excellent, prices are average, and the food is good. They even offer halal meats. We had the tofu tom kha, chicken pad see ew, pad thai, and chow mein. The tom kha was delicious -- galangal and lemon grass are apparent flavors, and some of my favorites. My family's favorite dish was the pad see ew, although the pad thai was also acceptable. The chicken was clean and enjoyed by my family. We'd definitely return for more Thai Thai. read more

Made a pit stop in Corona and decided to stop here for lunch. Ordered the pad Thai and beef salad. I'm still a bit shocked by how horrendous the pad Thai was. There was so much sauce that it looked like a soup.. The noodles were drowning, and the takeout box was overflowing with sauce. This has got to be the worst pad Thai I've ever had. In addition to the excessive amount of sauce, the pad Thai just did not taste right. I couldn't taste the sweetness and tanginess from the tamarind. It was pretty bland. Luckily, the beef salad managed to save my lunch from being completely inedible. It was flavorful and had the right amount of spice. The assortment of veggies made for a good and fresh dish. This restaurant needs a little make over. One side of the wall is all metal so it looks like you're inside one of those big industrial fridges. On the other side of the wall you got the top half which is lime green and the bottom half which is bright yellow. The cushions for the seats were very hard and really far away from the table. There is no way to move the seat or table close to you so you have to scoot to the edge of the seat to actually eat your food properly. Be careful when doing that because I scooted too far toward and the bottom cushion lifted up from the seat so I had a mini heart attack doing that twice. I ordered a pad Thai and it tasted good. It had crushed peanuts on the side, sliced carrots, cabbage, and bean sprouts. The food hit the spot and will not leave you hungry. The server was attentive and made sure that we had enough water and that everything was good. If you want some good Thai food then I recommend coming here but I would order to go. read more
