We also ordered enough food for six people, and I asked twice for extra fortune cookies and the lady snapped at me saying "I heard you" but we only still received two cookies. food is still good, but the attitude and service by the ladies At the counter was less than welcoming. This place is a 2-3 star place quality-wise and probably needs a health department check in based off the temperature of the food they serve, but this rating is to tell people of color to avoid this place unless they appreciate dirty looks and unnecessary comments in Mandarin based off their prejudices. I think Mr. You's has come around with their quality and taste of their dishes here. Probably a new chef and better management. Came in years back and it was not always the best meals, but at my last two visits, the food here is definitely much more flavorful and they are generous with their portions. Your combo plate box will be full. At the time of this post, their 2 Entree Combo is $9.99, or about $10.86 with tax. You choose your rice or chow mein and two entrees from the hot table. They have the usual stuff like: Orange Chicken, Char Siu Pork, Teriyaki Chicken (think they chop this for you fresh at the counter), Beef and Broccoli and more. I like their String Bean Chicken and Mushroom Chicken. There's plenty of seating if you want to dine in, or do takeout which is what I did. The staff seem pretty chill, nothing to write home about, but they're respectful and plate your food as asked. Parking here is shared with a plaza with other businesses. This place use to be the best fast food Chinese place and they would have long lines, but then it changed a couple of years ago. Haven't been here for a while since the last time the food wasn't so great. But we decided to try them out. I think they must have changed cooks or management, because the food has improved. The flavor is there and it looked fresh. We have always loved their bbq pork because they are the only place that don't drench it in that red sweet sauce. And I love their cream cheese wantons. The only thing I think could improve is their chow mein needs more flavor. The workers are friendly and they pack your plate up so you will have leftovers. There is inside and outside seating if you want to eat there. You can refill your drink once and they do it for you. We came here because of the orange chicken fries hype, but they ended up being overwhelmingly sweet and smothered in sauce without anything to balance that one note. We also ordered char sui bbq pork which was extremely fatty and inedible. We also ordered Mongolian beef which was pretty good, chow mein and vegetables were also good but standard. The portions were huge! You could really feed a crowd, I'll give them that. As for the place, the counters, tables and drink station were in a bad way and due to be wiped down, which caused me some mental strain, although it was later in the evening when we got there. Been coming here for a long time, decided to do an online order for delivery since i'm super sick and didn't want to put anyone else at risk. Sadly I only received half of my order for the family & the soup i was really hoping for. I reached out to the restaurant to inform them that I was missing items and they said they never received the order. I confirmed the address of the restaurant and the phone number that was on the receipt with them which they informed me that was the same place I ordered from. They still told me they never received the order even after I sent them the receipt of proof! Several years ago this location was taken over by new owners. Prior to that time we were regular, happy customers. Under the new owners everything went down: food wasn't as good, portions were smaller, and the restaurant wasn't as clean. The women's restroom was bad news. We ate there once or twice and decided not to go back. Tonight several years later, we were out late shopping, drove by and decided to stop in. Same problems.. but worse. Now, the food was not good. The meat in two chicken dishes and one beef dish tasted "off." All 4 items (plus the fried rice and chow mein) were just bland. I asked for more soy sauce packets, siracha packets, and finally some teriyaki sauce to give things some flavor. As we eating, we both thought, "if we get sick tomorrow, we'll know why." Absolutely terrible experience. I have been a long time customer and have been coming here at least once a week, mostly on Wednesdays. You would think that a Chinese restaurant that serves hot food would at least turn on the A/C some basic common sense. I could not even enjoy the food without constantly sweating like a pig. The manager or managers need to get their shit together and turn up the A/C. Overall, chow mein was great, good texture, just the right amount of chewiness, but PLEASE TURN ON THE A/C. Ordered 2 meals and egg rolls along with an egg flower soup totaling over $27.00. We started enjoying our early dinner when my daughter found a hair in her rice. (Disgusting, but it happens). We threw away that entire meal. Then my son is eating his egg roll and he finds another hair in his egg roll. At that point my husband decides to call and let them know, they asked us to return the food and they would replace it!!!!
