I grew up in a family Chinese restaurant, so I'm very picky with my Asian foods. This restaurant was our go to place for pancit and lumpia for many years. We were craving it so we came to our favorite Chinese fast food restaurant, but saw the huge sign that said, "Under New Management". We were devastated because we've been coming to this restaurant for so long and they had the best pancit and lumpia for a Chinese fast food place. Since we were there, we decided to try them out. They did change up the inside. There are plenty of tables to sit and eat there. They have a refrigerator for can drinks. It was empty when we got there which was about an hour before closing, and all their hot food items were almost all out which was fine since we were going to order off the menu. It's not listed up on the menu, but they do offer pancit and lumpia when I asked them. There was one person working the front and I saw about three people in the kitchen. The lady who takes your order and packs your food lacks customer service skills. She told us the cook made our pancit with the wrong noodles, but it's still good, so she threw in two egg rolls in the bag to make up for it, and gave us our bag. She left and helped the next guests. I'm sorry, what? Didn't even ask if that was okay or if I wanted to wait for the cook to fix it. When we got home and opened the food, both noodles looked the same and the flavor wasn't even there. The lumpia looked liked little fingers which are totally different than the ones from the previous owners, and it lacked flavor. We will definitely not be going back, and are so disappointed we lost another good Chinese fast food place that serves Filipino food.

I had already discounted the restaurant based on the name thinking it would be your run of the mill $1 greasy Chinese food. A quick yelp search helped sway my vote when I saw the Filipino portion of the menu. The kids chose chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, bbq pork, teriyaki chicken, veggie egg rolls, and an order of lechon. The lechon comes in one size for $18.99; the woman was nice and brought a large container brimming & piping hot to our table. Crunchy, meaty and delicious...needed a little salt but all in all I loved it! The bbq pork and teriyaki chicken was a little lean and still very tasty. Prices are more than reasonable & the staff was very nice. Will be back if I'm in the area. Glad to support the Lechon! ;)

BUSINESS PERMANENTLY CLOSING 6/28/26…read more Came here with some gals for afternoon tea. It's a cute little restaurant in Old Towne Orange. It's decorated really cute inside and out! Everything was creatively planned and decorated. It was also very clean and spacious inside and out. When you go in, there's a tea sampling station with the menus so you can see which tea you would like to order. Our server was really sweet, but she was the only one serving all of the tables, so she would come by every 10-20 minutes to check on us and some things we asked for didn't make it to the table. If they had more servers, customers would be happy with quicker service. The food and tea were delish! There were 6 of us so we shared a bunch of different teas. I really enjoyed the teas they had. The sweet and savory treats were really yummy! I really enjoyed them. Each person got 5 little savory treats and 4 sweet treats. I kind of wish we got one or two more for $45, but either way they were delicious! We had a great time and were sad to learn that the business will be permanently closing down tomorrow (6/28/26), I would have loved to continue going back!

We got a variety of dishes to try out, and overall it was just ok. The soup was good but was a little light on ingredients, the papaya salad was decent with a little kick, noodles didn't really have much truffle taste but was ok, green beans were crunchy and probably the best dish here, and the mango sticky rice was not ripe. Most of the mango pieces were hard / not sweet and proportion to the rice was off. The staff was friendly and the space is very open and welcoming. Not sure if I'd come back though unless I was craving the Asian fusion tea service.

I am going to start with this is a must go place! 10000000% a hidden gem you won't forget anytime…read moresoon. We started with the pan-fried pork buns, shumai, crystal shrimp dumplings, xiao long bao, and cartoon sweet custard buns. Everything is made from scratch in their kitchen, which got us excited right away--so many places just steam frozen items and the freshness just isn't there. There's a big window into the kitchen so you can actually watch the chefs making each item specifically for you. The decor inside is trendy and really adds to the experience. There are flowers on the wall that are actually sewn with thread creating designs--unlike anything I've seen before. The seating is all in great shape and not neglected at all. Each table is stocked with soy sauce, black vinegar, chili sauce, and garlic. The staff is friendly and attentive. There's a giant projector screen that comes down along the wall with a projector and LED lighting throughout. I asked and they said they can do karaoke, and they also played World Cup games on it. There are several TVs playing various sports as well. Pan-fried pork buns - 10/10 This was my first time ever having them pan-fried and I'm glad I listened to the waiter's suggestion. The dipping sauce elevated the dish and brought it full circle. Being pan-fried gave them a slight crisp that was perfect. Shumai - 10/10 Just delicious. Crystal shrimp dumplings - 10/10 These were made fresh. I've had these at other dim sum places and it's been hit or miss--sometimes soggy, sometimes the wrapper is hard. That wasn't the case here at all. Perfection wrapped around shrimp. Xiao long bao - 10/10 I've had dumplings at places like Din Tai Fung, and I honestly believe these are better. The broth inside was bursting with flavor and the exterior was fresh and made perfectly. I'll be dreaming of these. Cartoon sweet custard buns - 9/10 These were delicious and so cute. The only thing I would have changed is giving the inside a bit more custard (personal preference--some people might think the balance is perfect). The rest of the bao was cooked perfectly, so soft, and the design made the experience that much more memorable. I highly recommend eating here. This is going to be one of our regular spots from now on.

The cold chicken was tender and flavorful, tossed in a spicy sauce with sesame seeds and crushed peanuts. The grilled fish was also very good -- meaty, flavorful, and surprisingly not too bony. We ordered the pork intestines mild, and the flavor was just right without being too spicy. The restaurant was clean and the food came out tasting fresh. The only downside is that the tables are pretty small. It's comfortable for 2-3 people, but for a larger family or group, you may need to put tables together. I also wish the menu had a few more choices, since the selection is somewhat limited. It's located in a convenient shopping center with easy parking. Overall, the menu may be simple, but the dishes we tried were well prepared and flavorful. We'd definitely come back and try more!

It didn't take too long for my order to be ready. Pasta had plenty of noodles and sausages. Crawfish was tiny, but this wasn't news... just wished it had a lot more amount of crawfish to compensate for its size. Overall flavor was good, but I found it a tad salty for my taste. They are known for their "Manila Boy Chicken" (Fried Chicken) - and it does taste crispy and fried; however, my personal favorite is their Dinuguan (Pork Blood Stew). They make this with lean and fatty pork to give an unctuous mouthfeel - what I feel makes the best Dinuguan. Aside from the texture, the stew is smooth and not clumpy. And the taste leans toward a vinegar flavor, which is perfection for this dish. Top it over a bed of steamed jasmine or Japanese rice, and it is top notch! Another item I like here is their Deep Fried Bangus (Milkfish). The Bangus is split half, deboned of its main vertebrae, laid flat, and deep fried til "GBD" (golden brown and delicious)! It comes with a side of sawsawan (dipping sauce), kamatis (tomato and onion salad), and grilled Talong (eggplant). I've ordered their Pancit Bihon (Noodles made with Rice Sticks) but, because it's topped with shrimp, I have to skip on tasting this. It does look and smell delicious.
