I'm really excited this little gem opened up in my part of town! I was craving Thai but didn't want to go back to the other Thai restaurants near me, so I busted out Yelp and saw this place pop up first, so I figured to give it a try. I was not disappointed, not one bit! The ladies that welcomed us seemed very nice and excited to see us. They thanked us for coming before we even sat down! The restaurant itself looked pleasant, well lit, clean and decorated with a nice touch of Thailand. I ordered fresh spring rolls and tiger cry steak. The spring rolls were very good, they added cucumber and carrots in them, which I have not seen done anywhere else. The tiger cry steak, well, LET ME TELL YOU!!! It was absolutely delicious! There was a good portion of steak on there, along with heart shaped rice! Yes! The rice was in the shape of a heart! The steak had this great tasting mildly spicy sauce, I wished I asked what it was because I loved it so much. I tried some of my friends duck pad see ew, and it was also delicious. Thai Thai delivers. My wife and I have been coming to Jenny's restaurants since they've opened in Fallbrook and they never disappoint! First of all the portions are family sized and the flavors are great. Usually my wife and I order a couple of entrees a piece and share. This time we only ordered pad see ewe, red curry and some fresh rolls with some Thai tea and we couldn't finish our food!!!! Stopped by after gym with wife and kids, let's just say this by far the best Thai in East County! I've tried all of the others here and even towards the Convoy area and this spot is legit!! Kinda pricey. I had won ton soup and orange chicken and spring rolls. The spring rolls were good. But the won ton soup had the tails left on the shrimp which gave the soup a fishy taste and had to pick the shrimp out of the soup and de-tail them myself , lazy chef I guess. The orange chicken was nothing to write home about. It was lacking ,maybe some orange zest or some type of garnishment would help. We ordered the Tom Kah Gai (my favorite soup!) at a spice level 3/10. Also ordered potstickers and pad thai. The soup came and it was crazy spicy. I was starving and found it edible, so I didn't complain. Turns out that the runner switched orders and my soup was a SEVEN/10. So, um, yeah. They did graciously offer to remake it for us, and when she brought it out, it was a very mild 1.5 (according to her). I'm still interested in trying an actual 3. The Pad Thai was tasty, but overly sweet. The pot stickers were ok. I should add that my wife really liked them; I'm not a huge fan of potstickers, so I'll defer to her. Visited Thai Thai for the first time tonight. It really is a gem. The service was quick, and the menu has MANY options. Whether you seek Vegetarian or meat choices, you will have much to choose from. We started with the spicy edamame and they were top notch. Pad Thai and Pad See Ewe were both spectacular. I really love spicy food, but a 3 is as high as I'd go here. I just ordered a couple of take out dishes and they were good. A little bit spicier than I was hoping to get, I was sweating after just a couple of bites. I like spicy food, but my wife doesn't, so we asked for her dish to be made with "no spicy stuff" and they said no problem. My sister and I went to the restaurant and were unimpressed by the menu. I had a delicious Thai tea. We decided to go elsewhere. I went to pay for the tea and unable to do so. You see, the server said it was free and that was that. She handed us a menu on our way out. I took the menu home. A couple of days later I decided to order food. It was fresh, delicious with beautiful presentation. I am delighted and can't wait to go back. The fresh spring rolls with, real, peanut sauce that taste like peanuts.
