The food is always delicious, full of flavor, and the portions are perfect for sharing. What really makes this place stand out is the salsa--it's better than any other Mexican restaurant we've tried. I was in the area of Rosaritos and decided to pre-order 3 rolled tacos for pickup at 12:00pm. I arrived at 12 pm and there's one customer ahead of me. I told him I had a pick-up order. Instead, he takes his long order, and then the customer behind me was helped. Yet, I was the last helped, and I only had to pay for my food. The roll tacos were good, and I want to try other things on the menu. However, customer service definitely needs to improve. I overall give this restaurant a 3 star . Enjoy my friends. read more

This review is long overdue! WE LOVE Rosaritos! Everything we get there is delicious. Some of our favorites are the Cubano, Shrimp Tacos, Supreme Nachos, and the California Burrito. I've lived in the area for awhile and somehow had never tried this place until recently. It seems I made a big mistake but better late than never! I've only been a few times and can only comment on the breakfast burritos but they are awesome! More specifically the bacon, egg, potato and cheese one. Anyhow, they are delicious and craving one as I type out this review. Rosarito's is my new go to spot for breakfast burritos, highly recommend! Very clean with pleasant seating and atmosphere, super fast food service and consistent delicious food. A family owned business, it has been wonderful to see the same employees over the years. We have been customers for at least 15 years and we have always been impressed with the flavorful and large offering of food items. In 2019 we needed to cater a large gathering and when we contacted Rosarito's they immediately helped us come up with an affordable selection of food items... when we arrived to pick the food up, the food was super fresh, really piping hot in big, secure serving dishes, which they helped load into out vehicle. Our guests were very impressed with all the food at our event! Lakeside has several taco shops, but this is our go to place. It's most convenient, but we are never disappointed in the food. (Whereas elsewhere we have been!) There's a very expansive menu and they add items all the time. And, yes! Chicken rolled tacos! (I used to call them Taquito, but what ever.) My husband likes their bean and rice combo dinners. Like most businesses these days, it is hard to find and hold good help. However, most of the time we are greeted and treated well. Oh! Let me not forget that they are quick to serve hot food! I've been tasked at work to find a breakfast burrito place for an event of 120+ people. My co-worker suggested Rosarito's, so I reached out to place an order via phone for a certain date and time. Service was phenomenal from the start till the end. We were able to place an order, pay over the phone, and get a copy of the receipt all at once. Then, Ulises (Manager) has been in close contact with me all the way up to an event date. We needed breakfast burritos by 6:45am that day. I received a text from Ulises around 6 am that everything was on track. I was able to pick up the burritos, meet the staff and the Owner, and got help carrying everything to my car. I've never been so stress free knowing my order was being handled correctly and precisely. Breakfast burritos were delicious and many people at the event were asking where we got them from. My wife raves about this place. An on and off again place we have been the last 16 years. Its probably been a year since my last visit here but the Supreme Carne Asada Nachos are still the same. My parents used to come here when I was a kid and I recently moved to lakeside so I thought I'd pick up some food. 10/10 for their breakfast burrito. It was perfect, the eggs were tender, potatoes were great, tortilla wasn't over or underdone. As somebody who appreciates a well made burrito this was probably the best breakfast burrito I've had in a long time. Very good size and pretty cheap.
