Spicy basil is my favorite here. Spices, rice, chicken, all amazing. It's pretty good considering its location.

Overall great place to eat! Next time I will most likely order to go. The waiter didn't notice us enter for the first 10 minutes but our food came out quickly once we ordered. This used to be a great spot. I hadn't been there in quite a while and unfortunately the food this past visit was terrible.

We ordered the yellow curry and the pork egg rolls. Portions were smaller than I'm used to at Thai places. The pork egg rolls were delicious but seriously tiny. The yellow curry had good flavor, but it came with pineapple, which threw me off. I've only ever had yellow curry with potatoes and carrots, so that was unexpected. I have a pineapple intolerance, so I just picked them out, but it was still kind of odd. read more

This genuine gem of a hole in the wall is my new favorite spot for Thai food. The fried rice is beautifully seasoned and the flavor was amazing each bite, love that you can choose to make it a little spicier on a scale of 1-10 (5 was pretty hot to me and I love spicy food) if you'd like to. Orange chicken was even better, nice and crispy on the outside but soft and tender on the inside, with a great tasting sweet orange sauce, I do wish I had gotten a little bit more though for $15. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional! I love Thai food and I'm vegan and there were sooo many options it was actually hard to choose. Between two of us we got veggie dumplings, fried tofu, pad see-ew, and tom kha soup. Everything was hot and fresh, and tasted delicious. The dumplings were perfectly crispy, the sauce with the fried tofu was incredible, and noodles were amazing, and the soup was incredibly flavorful. The service was excellent. We got great recommendations on the food and were told "to feel right at home," which we were definitely made to feel very welcome. I wish I was a local so I could have this more often!!! My Daughter has been to Busy B on multiple occasions and told me "Ma, you gotta try this place" so I said well bring me some home damnit! LoL. She finally did and wow!! Just wow! I've had the Crying Tiger, Kra-Pow, and the Drunken Noodles. Spice level 7 or 5 depends on how my acid reflux feels that day. Everything that I have ordered is packed with flavor. Just overall delicious to the point I want more and more. I really enjoyed the Crying Tiger due to my love of beef . It's cooked medium rare just how I like it and that little cup of spicy chili lime sauce it's served with goes perfect with the tender beef. I finally ventured out that way last night just to see what the place looks like. Yup, it's small like my kid said but with a very homey feel to it. Prices are very reasonable as well! I wish they served whole fish on the menu, once they open back up for dining in, I plan on going back and having a chat with the owner to support and give thanks for the awesome food. read more

Excellent Thai Food in East County. It's a small shop with high quality food and great service. Today was my second time there and they are killing it. My wife and I dined in today, their takeout is great too. We started off with the fried tofu and it was pretty tasty. We added some spicy powder to the sweet sauce that was included with the dish. It was a great combo. For the main dish my wife got the Broccoli stir fry with beef and I got the Number 10 which is thai chilies and jalapenos stir fried with Salmon in my case and extra vegetables. It was pretty spicy but not unbearable and very delicious. I highly recommend. The best part of the meal was the mango sticky rice. The mango was very juicy it must be mango season. First off my Thai iced tea was made wrong. He remade it but that kinda set the tone for the rest of the experience. I ordered the spicy chicken wings. I bit into the first wing and it was ice cold at the center. I wanted to say something then but the rest of the wings were fine. I got the yellow curry. I've definitely had better elsewhere. Chicken was over cooked and potatoes extremely undercooked. And lastly there was a gnat in my water. Needless to say, I won't be back here. Update. I just threw up everything I ate here. Digging BusyB Thai. It's a small restaurant run by the proprietor. The food here is amazing and the location allows me to dip right off the highway and get right back on as I am passing by. I believe I have purchased meals for myself and guests and employees at least 20 times and every time I am very pleased with the quality of the food. I enjoy very spicy food but I must tell you that you need to describe your spice level quite specifically somehow as just asking for "spicy" or "quite hot" was not enough for me, although I do seem to recall they have a numbering system. I have enjoyed Pad Kay Mow (spelling?), Spicy Beans and Chicken, Fried Tofu, Thai Stick (joking, the Chicken Satay), their soups, and Yellow Curry is as good as the rest, bit is my personal fave (with chicken), extra spicy. read more

What a waste of $6.77!! I should've known better when I entered and waited patiently for someone to simply acknowledge my presence. I ended up calling out for assistance. I simply wanted a tasty Thai tea with boba and I received the exact opposite. I'm sure if I would've taken anymore than the sip I had I would've been sick. We had thai takeout from this place a few days ago. Most of us ordering different entrees. I had the shrimp pad Thai. It was good. I could taste the fresh ginger and lime. My son requested medium heat/6 and it was hot. No complaints from him for his pad see ew. My daughter in law had yellow curry and it was enough for three people. I had seen this restaurant on my suggestion list for awhile, whenever I typed "vegan near me" in the search bar. I happened to be out running errands, and I love Thai food, so I decided to give it a try yesterday. I was definitely not disappointed! Many Thai restaurants have dishes that can be "veganized" by holding certain ingredients, and that's fine. Busy B Thai goes an extra step and has a dedicated, specific list of dishes that are vegan-friendly. That means I'm paying for exactly what is in the dish, rather than asking for things to be omitted but still spending the same amount. But this is my go to Thai place & o order the same thing almost everytime ( Drunken noodles) tonight it was the worst meal I ever received from them it was no sauce barely on the noodles very oil, no seasoning , some noodle was still white .: just horrible it's raining outside and I do not feel like driving back to the place on top of that I'm not trying to loose my parking space on top of that I left a tip .
