Worst Thai restaurant in Burien. I ordered Coconut shrimp and chicken Pud Thai. And 1 Iced coffee. I placed the order inside their restaurant thru their computer. The kid who brought the pud thai said they were out of shrimp. No silverware was brought over. I had to ask for it. The $2.50 i paid for white rice was never delivered. I asked for it and when it came it looked like it was scraped off the floor. Photo included. It's only my opinion, but like I said, worst Thai restaurant in Burien. Borderline gross.

Crispy Garlic Chicken so good and the stawberry milk is so goooddd 10/10

Foood was so gooood I just straight up inhaled it 100/10 and its family owned nothing better then supporting family owned places !' I recommend I got the garlic chicken and it's nice you can pick your spice level I got I think level 3 . Super delicious and doesn't feel too fatty as in oily love it here will be coming back and not to mention my food came out fast and the strawberry milk Thai was delicious !!!

service was impressively quick and the pad see ew was definitely made fresh and soft - i had the tofu and maybe that's what made it have a little less flavor than i would want so i would recommend getting it spicy for a larger flavor palette

The Tom Yum was very flavorful, but some of the chicken was dried up, and the cook who prepared it came right into the kitchen to the back where you can see, took off his jacket and went straight to the kitchen, put on gloves and began preparing orders. The gloves do no good if you don't wash your hands first! The establishment is rated "Okay" by the Kc Health Dept., the 2nd lowest rating before it could be closed down! Yet it is very popular and a very busy place, orders being phoned in & picked up like crazy! The majority orders are phoned in & picked up, so those customers don't see the behaviors. The order-taker-cashier-server kept touching her nose & hair and she was sneezing & nervous. I politely requested she wash her hands, which she did. I paid an extra $2.50 because my food did not come with the rice. I purchased to go. When I got home, the rice was cumpy and scorched, apparently coming from the bottom of the rice cooker, and mixed with dried out portions of rice. I've had better from there before! I spent more than $35 for my food altogether. Images are after servings were taken from the containers.

inconsistent fast casual counter thai spot next to 7-11. sometimes it was delicious, sometimes it was gross, all times it's not very friendly and welcoming but all times it's fast. conclusion: there's better options. side note: why my mango sticky rice always have odd color hue of random colors ?

This was my first time trying Thai-U-Up and we ordered through Door Dash for delivery. We ordered the Tom Yum Soup, Pad Thai, and Pad See Ew. From my first visual impressions upon receiving and opening the containers, the food looked good, but the containers made it seem like there wasn't that much food. Of course after actually indulging the food, I found out it was plenty and quite filling. We ended up having to save some to eat later because we would have probably had a food coma after eating it all. My only complaint is the food tasted a bit sweeter than what I am normally use to tasting when comparing it to other Thai restaurants.

I ordered 6 dishes (only 4 shown in photo) for my friend's baby shower. I worked with Ao who's the owner. She was great to work with! The food arrived hot and nicely plated. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portions were very generous! They delivered it to my friend's home which was also in Burien and because of the close proximity, they waived the delivery fee. On top of that, Ao sent a complimentary large tray of fried rice. So kind!! Every dish we ordered was so flavorful, nicely spiced and the meats were so tender! I highly recommend Thai-U-Up!!! Absolutely delicious Thai food and Ao and her team are just the nicest people to work with. We hope to visit their restaurant someday soon.

Who would think it...? Some of the best thai I have had in Seattle was passed to me through a window of a food truck at the gas and sip at the corner of 75th and Roosevelt. Had Pad See Ew that was DAVOON! Moist and spicy. The char on the beef was so delish! The Volcano Chicken was crispy and oooh so sweet! I would have preferred it to be hotter but I don't think they realized that when I say 5* I mean it! :D I'm going back tonight and can't wait. My mouth is watering already. Most impressive. I was driving to the gas station while thinking I should order Thai, & as the universe will have it, there they were. Went for Chicken pad Thai , which is very tasty. Will definitely make this my Thai go to. Staff is friendly and mentioned a delivery option which I'm looking forward to trying out. I recommend stopping by for sure. read more

This place is awesome and delicious!! We got the volcano chicken which was sooooo spectacular (they also let us try the crispy garlic chicken sauce and that was really good too) and the pad Thai which was some of the best pad thai I've ever had! The guys were super friendly and nice and threw in free potstickers (which were also delicious!!) Great service, awesome food. read more

Pretty flavorful. I got the pad kee mao noodles with chicken. The carrots were a bit al dente but I didn't mind. Next time I will ask for more veggies and less chicken, they really gave me a lot of chicken, which most would appreciate. I would prefer more mushrooms. However the ingredients were quality and the flavors spot on. One thing. I asked for 4 heat and only got a 2. Next time I will up the heat. I think they might have been afraid to hurt the white girl. read more

This is a very good Thai food truck in Seattle. Prices are reasonable and service is quite fast. We like that they are on a lot of delivery apps as well, so convenience is excellent. Have to dock 1 star after receiving an order with chicken instead of tofu, since my partner could not eat it due to dietary restrictions, but they agreed to remake it for us so hopefully it was just an aberration. Nonetheless now we have to double check orders carefully. read more

I've tried this place twice - once through deliver the other time stopped by. The first time the pad Thai had only the flavor of fish sauce and nothing else. The second time I tried a different noodle dish which was just an awkward taste. It's a cool concept just wish the taste was better. Overall there are better Thai places in the vicinity I can drive to or get delivery from. read more

Excellent service. I ordered online with the Yelp app and they actually called me when my order was ready to pick up. It was super convenient to pick up a few groceries at Grocery Outlet while I waited. Pad see ew was really good too. The only reason why I gave 4 stars was it was way too spicy for me. I ordered medium spicy with 3 stars and it was painful to eat. Delicious but painful. And I usually have a high spice tolerance. I will definitely be coming back and ordering with 1 or 2 stars. read more

I had the crispy garlic chicken and their pad see ew. Their crispy garlic chicken is to DIE for!! I loved it so much, but it is a bit spicy if that's not your thing. Their pad see ew was a bit too salty for me, but I still ate every last bit. The workers are so nice and the turn around time is great, I would definitely recommend them! read more

Wow! I am so glad I stumbled upon this food truck while out shopping and running errands. I pulled up into the parking lot of grocery outlet and noticed several patrons swarming around this truck humming with the sound of a generator by it's front wheel. I remember I had seen some great reviews and WOM about this place and was also craving Thai food. I ordered the crispy garlic chicken, which comes with rice and lettuce. I've worked in Thai kitchens before, and have had a pretty fair share of crispy garlic chicken.....which seems to be made differently at every restaurant I've ordered it. Some restaurants make it crispy, with no garlic. Like a Thai version General Tso's.....while some restaurants make it full of garlic, but not crispy....like a sauteed chicken. Thai u Up is the first place I've had the perfect crispy garlic chicken, deep fried and then sauteed with crushed dried chilis to cater to your requested spice level. The girl who took my order was welcoming to all the customers. She was kind enough to give me a plastic container with cold water for Panda to drink while we waited for our food. They take cash or card, very convenient! I will definitely be back to try their other options. read more

Very poor customer service. We got the curry yesterday at SPF 30 and it was WAY too salty. My husband and I were going to split it but neither of us could tolerate the high salt content. So, we brought it back with our receipt and they flat out refused. And, no, we had NOT eaten much at all - we were returning at least 75% of it. They instead insisted our only recourse was to take some deep fried chicken that we didn't want (we are both on diets). And guess what? It was unbearably salty. But, we knew better than to complain so we just threw it away. Yes, accidents like too much salt happen, but why make us feel like we were trying to rip you off by asking for a refund? Why not just refund us as asked? Shame on them. read more

I am on a constant hunt for the best spring roll and the best tom kah...this is one of the best spots to get both!! I was shocked at the prices when they tallied my order (I always get a good sampling when trying a new place), but then I saw the portions they created and price was no longer a concern. I will enjoy this meal for days...and go right back for more!!! BRAVO!!! read more

The worst experience with this food truck. I ordered Panang Curry with veggie options. They didn't have tofu at all. Also veggies were not at all cooked. Eating the rice with curry felt like its just watery gravy with cut raw veggies. Immediately after my order they were close. Seems like she was in hurry to finish the order and didn't bother to cook veggies at all. Suggestion for all the vegetarians, Don't ever try this. read more

DELICIOUS! The guys who work here are super nice - great service! We accidentally ordered from the wrong location and the guys here made it right. The truck is in walking distance of our house - I think we will be regulars here. Thank you for the delicious food and the 5-star service! My favorite was the Golden Noodle. Fast delivery and good service. None of the food tastes like real Thai. Tom Kha seemed like it had canned vegetables in it and the Phad Thai had something more like spicy teriyaki sauce than real tamarind sauce. Will not order here again. read more

My wife and I have been working in many different restaurants since 2005. We finally started our own food truck in 2013. The food came from our working experiences in many different restaurants in Seattle. We would like to say our gratuity to our friends and family who have helped us building the trailer and the recipe. We build this trailer by sparing our paychecks. It took us quite a long time to get enough income to build this trailer. We love this trailer as much as we love to serve our best foods to our customers. Cheers!

Service is super friendly. You order at the counter, but you're met with genuine smiles and a helpful, welcoming attitude that makes you feel like you made a very good life choice. Parking isn't the easiest, but you'll figure it out. The space itself is tiny, with just a few tables, so while you can eat there, a lot of people seem to grab it to go--presumably to eat it somewhere quiet and reflect on how good it was.
