Delicious! This place packs a flavorful punch. The food was phenomenal. Fresh, made to order, delicious flavors. Prices are reasonable. The staff were so friendly! We enjoyed everything we ate. The food is also pretty big portions. The inside isn't the greatest- don't expect fine dining- but the food makes it all worth while. We really enjoyed our dinner here.

Great spot for a fast lunch! Both items we got-- the kalbi and katsu are so good! The lady is also very nice and friendly. Lots of parking in front.

I just love this place. The kimchi is fresh instead of fermented and I just love it. The miso soup with the tofu along with the kimbop to me is a perfect lunch. The ladies obviously the owner and takes pride in it. There is no seaweed as it's Korean miso I got some of the fresh barley and corn. I also get the seaweed salad and the daikon along with the tofu soup when I see it all from the cold section. The other thing is there soy potatoes are out of this world especially hot in Korean food will be not be mad!

So good, large portions. Owner was the sweetest lady and super clean inside. The katsu was our favorite and we love the Mac salad even more.

The portion are huge!! I would highly recommend getting two different things and splitting with someone. The meat jun is authentic and the poke bowls have such great quality fish.

I was in the area one day and stopped inside. The restaurant was very casual and I asked for recommendations. I got the meat Jun and Kalua pig and they were both great - the woman at the counter was very nice and it's always nice to be able to get classic Hawaiian dishes.

If you are looking for a homely and quaint location to get some delicious Hawaiian/Korean food, and if you are visiting Burien, Ohana Kitchen would be a solid pick that will fulfill those cravings! We paid this restaurant a visit on a Saturday around dinner time and had our pick of seats. The ambiance of the restaurant feels very mom and pop owned, everything from layout of the tables and decorations, to just the general vibe. Ordering and picking up the food is done at the counter. Service is relatively fast, from order to pickup took about 10ish minutes - note that we did go when there were not too many other customers. I got the Kimbap and Spicy Pork entree, and both of these options were generous in the amount of food that you receive. It was especially nice since the owner saw that we wanted Kimbap and she even decided to make a new rolls just for us! The kimbap is delicious and filling, just look at the size of them in the photo! Ingredients were fresh and served as a nice appetizer if you are feeling very hungry. As for the spicy pork entree, they really are generous with the amount of pork that you will receive - it was a huge helping of spicy pork that had good flavor. Not too spicy, and was complemented nicely with the mac salad, glass noodles, and radish side. In the end, I spent about $29 for these items that you see here. I would say that I was able to get almost 2 whole meals out of everything here, make it pretty worth it in my opinion. I would definitely like to revisit Ohana Kitchen in the future to try their other enticing items! (4.5 stars)

I've eaten here a few times, and it's a hit or miss. The first time everything was great, which convinced me to return and try other items on the menu. However, the next few times I was sorely disappointed. I suspect that sometimes the sides are a few days old. The japchae has been crunchy and hard, which is the not the typical texture you would find. The mac salad and cucumbers have tasted sour (more so than necessary) and have given off an odor that made me question if it was spoiled. The main protein is fine, whether it's the chicken katsu, loco moco, or meat jun. So if you don't care about the sides, it's a great option for lunch/dinner.

First time in and have wanted to try. Upon arrival GOOD health department rating posted at door did not heighten excitement to try and a slight odor inside, something sour'ish? Was the ONLY person there during 1230pm lunch hour. Ordered loco moco, egg rolls, shrimp tempura & Korean short ribs. Loco moco, short ribs & shrimp tempura both really good and would come back for. Egg rolls were frozen same or very similar to Jack & the Box = not home made & would not recommend. Mac & glass noodle salad both ok.

Growing up in Hawaii, it's hard to find a GOOD plate lunch. This place definitely scratches that itch! Staff is always so friendly too!

Amazing service. The owner is always kind and is so good at answering questions. I would come here over a chain place any day. Theres so many other food options outside of poke too. The best chicken katzu i have had in a while was here. All this below was 22

Loved this Korean and Hawaiian fusion spot. You'll find the classics from both sides like Loco Moco, Kalua Pig, Poke, Bulgogi. I opted for the Kalua Pig and the Chicken Katsu. They are running a special for the Chicken Katsu right now where they'll throw in a large cup of curry (with meat and veggies, not just the sauce alone) for the same price you'd normally pay for the Chicken Katsu itself - great deal that I couldn't say no to! The Chicken Katsu was an absolute winner with that crispy goodness and the curry was delicious too. The meat in the Kalua Pig was quite dry though, and so I was disappointed in that plate compared to the ones I've had at other Hawaiian places. Other positive things that stood out to me during my visit: - Unlike at many of the cheap Korean restaurants I've been to, Ohana Kitchen was really generous here, everything from the napkin quantity to the utensils to the large portion sizes of the food. - The cleanliness of the place and seeing the owner lady actively spraying down and cleaning tables. - One neat feature is the "Grab and Go Delights" section with a variety of options in containers ranging from $6 to $10 each. It's a convenient option if you want to take some deliciousness home.

However, expect slow or inconsistent service and just an okay environment. //CONTEXT// Came here on a Friday evening as a party of two. Found a seat immediately //ENVIRONMENT// Honestly the environment felt a bit sad. There was no music, it was super quiet and just not a typical restaurant environment. Even when I ordered I went up and had to write down my order on their receipt lol. //SERVICE// The service was really slow. I understand that rolls take a while to make and they have a lot of takeout orders but I would hope they'd improve based on what they're seeing. Here are some examples: - When we got there, there was another couple who already ordered and was waiting for their food. Three other parties came in and we all got their food before them. This couple never got their food, had to check and then waited more and then just left. We were there for 45 mins before we got there so they were waiting even longer. - Another party got their food before we did and we ordered before them. Also it was interesting in that this person got their order placed with the owner but we had to write our order down - As mentioned it took us about 45 minutes for 3 rolls. I thought this was kind of long. //FOOD// Food was amazing! If you can get past the wait the rolls are so good! They're fresh, tasty and not too large or too small! I got the Akron, Newport, and the Juneau! These were all so good! The tempura and fried soft shell crab was perfectly crispy and not soggy at all. The fish tasted so fresh! The Newport did lack a bit of ponzu. Aside from that these were great rolls Overall, the rolls were good but the service and wait does make me hesitant to come back.

I agree with another reviewer (I had the seared salmon bowl when I first went) and I loved it - but I am a minority because I know the quality of the salmon was super high and I don't require a lot of sauce to enjoy it. But every time I get the mixed chirashi sushi donburi, it is just "beyond expectations." I have now gone almost a dozen times, and it feels like a treat to bring people there - Georgetown in itself is a bit of a surprise, parking is tricky but there is parking lot and the hours are great (I think till 9:00 daily) and the people and service are wonderful. My friend who speaks Japanese talked to the owner and he started this restaurant in Japan and brought it to the Seattle area about 5 years ago. The taste was unfortunately very bland, no significant sear in the salmon, and the soy sauce didn't add anything memorable to the bowl. The Una-Gyu Don wasn't bad, but the broiled eel with sukiyaki just wasn't special enough to make you crave it again. The location has a parking lot next door at least. Internally the dining space is narrow and fills up quickly at opening times in the weekend. Order at the counter or kiosk, and they'll deliver the food to your table, which you bus yourself at the end.

At first, I was trying my best to eat it with rice but the salt in the end really got to me. Especially I have high BP, so I decided to let the lady behind the counter know. It was very nice of her to remake it but it was still very salty. By then, I didn't want to eat it anymore. She offered to remake it for the third time as the chef was feeling bad about it. I told her, it's OK. My mouth only tasted salt and I had chucked down so much water including the free drinks she offered. I was already full. My daughter tasted it and said it was OK and told me she would eat my kalua pork and I could have her leftover half of chicken katsu. Tomorrow is New Year's Eve. It will be our dinner if we can't find a restaurant open.
