Thai Villa was a very pleasant surprise. Tucked away in a little unassuming corner it served one of the best pad Thai dishes I've had. Not a large place, not particularly well lit, the owners children were coloring a couple of tables away but the food was great. He got the crab rangoons (small but mighty), the satay (probably the largest portion I've ever been served, and delicious), the pad Thai and the red curry. Everything was served hot and with style. A set of little containers had different types of sauces. Everything was delicious. Some parking on the street. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a lovely evening meal of fresh summer rolls, Mixed Vegetables Deluxe with brown rice, and Spicy Basil Lomein. The freshness of the rolls and Thai basil offset the minimal ingredients and taste. However, the Spicy Basil Lomein was packed full of flavor and the medium heat request was spot on. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the brown sauce with her Mixed Vegetables Deluxe that was more of a broth consistency than the typical thick sauce. Both entrees were cooked well. Our service was solid and accurate. The restaurant is on the smaller size; the two bathrooms are separate but share a common space where the hand dryer is located. The parking lot provides a challenge for larger vehicles, but it's worth careful navigating.

No-frills, simply delicious Thai food. I remember visiting this place back in college and I'm so glad to find it's still here. The decor inside is simple and low-key, but the food here is anything but. Everything was absolutely delicious and service was fantastic. The parking lot was a little difficult to navigate, but there's plenty of parking spots.

While in town for business a couple coworkers and I found this hidden gem. Food: Excellent we had some delicious food. I had the chicken spring rolls and the double treat chicken. Service: Excellent, we were greeted as we arrived by a host at a reception type desk, he and our waitress were equally friendly and polite. Our waitress was helpful and attentive. Ambiance: Welcoming environment, with a laid back feel. Indoor seating with bar, typical Asian style decor. In all a great meal.

They are a true family restaurant. Even with the kids sitting at the table up by the register. Tonight we had basil duck..chicken pan tia...combo fried rice.. all of them were super. Well seasoned and catered to our special request..great job!

This place created my love for Thai food and unfortunately ruined all other Thai restaurants. Every single meal I have gotten here has been excellent. My personal favorite order is the spring rolls and Pad Ke Mao with chicken. Their fried tofu is also very good! The spice level is perfect and the chicken is perfectly tender and flavorful. I have also ordered the Green Curry and Red Curry and they are great as well.

I was not going to cook tonight so I drove around a bit and finally stopped here. There were two large signs on the exterior doors where it clearly states that meals are to go until Sept 26th due to not having servers available (some knucklehead still came in and sat down before being informed of the situation- talk about being oblivious). I went with an order of the fresh shrimp rolls ($6) and beef lamb ($13). Arrived home, opened the lamb and did not realize it does not include rice so lucky for me I have some Trader Joe's white rice in the freezer so I heated it up and made a great meal. The flavors were all amazing and fresh so my dinner was amazing.

The food was ok, I've had better Thai. My go-to the massaman curry wasn't available during lunch hours. I don't think I would go back. Despite the lack luster food the service was pleasant.

(4.5 STARS) This Thai restaurant was highly recommended by a couple of co-workers. They liked the food and how close it was to our office building. Since I am ALWAYS looking to discover a solid new Thai food place, I knew I would try Thai Villa rather quickly. Thai Villa is nestled within a tiny parking lot and you could easily drive right past it , like I almost did! Once you walk through the front doors, you're immediately greeted by Thai decor and you can tell it's a small but cozy place. The servers were friendly and seemed very humble. We really liked the service and the ambiance. We ordered our 2 favorite go-to meals: Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Pad See Ew. My lady ordered her new favorite beverage, Thai Tea, which I introduced her to recently. She's had it at our Favorite Thai restaurant and a couple others so she wanted to compare. Well...Thai Villa's is the best, in her opinion!. Both of our meals were really good and we were pleasantly surprised! The only knock on the Pad Thai was the overcooked noodles (I can't stand mushy noodles) and for the Pad See Ew, they didn't have Chinese broccoli (which is a big deal for me). Otherwise, we loved our first impression and we now have our new go-to Thai spot!

Absolutely percent delicious! One of the best Thai places I've eaten at. Amazing fresh flavors! Beautifully presented! Soft and crunchy textures! So many different tastes all at once. All combined to make a glorious meal no one can resist. Once to try it you will want to come back for more. The staff is very friendly and always return to ask if we needed more drinks or to make sure everything is good. Can't wait to return!

The crab Rangoon were very good. And so was the sauce that they came with. Not pictured is the Thai tea i ordered that was more milk than tea unfortunate. The pad Thai was alright. It was so dry and un saucy that' I've definitely had better. The crab rangoons were the best part of my meal. If I order here again I will definitely request if extra sauce can be on my pad Thai.

It's the kind of place where you can sit, talk, and just enjoy the evening without feeling rushed. The food was honestly the highlight. Everything tasted really fresh and full of flavor. We ordered a variety of dishes so we could try a little bit of everything. The shrimp/Salmon dish was amazing. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, the salmon was tender and the presentation with the orchid and lemon slice made it look almost too pretty to eat. The pad thai had that perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a little tangy. The fried rice was simple but really good, with tender pieces of chicken and vegetables mixed throughout. We also tried a few stir fry dishes with chicken and beef that came with fresh vegetables and a flavorful garlic sauce. You could tell everything was made fresh and not just thrown together. We also started with a sampler appetizer plate that had spring rolls, dumplings, and coconut shrimp with a sweet chili dipping sauce. That was a great way to kick things off. Overall the whole meal felt fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The service was friendly and the environment made it a great spot to relax and enjoy dinner with friends. Definitely a place we'd go back to again.

I ordered the vegetarian one so I'm not sure if that skews the review but it was bland and had so much cabbage. Like, the cabbage was about 75% of all of the vegetables. Maybe like three pieces of broccoli. Not really any flavor, either. I asked for mild (since it was my first time, I wasn't sure what their base level of spice is) and it wasn't even just that it wasn't spicy - it was extremely bland. Had none of that umami flavor I love in a pad see ew. Not sure I'd order this again if I return.

For my main meal, I ordered Cashew Chicken at medium Thai heat. They hit the spice on the nose and the rest of dish was an ample amount of veggies, cashews, and chicken. My wife ordered Mixed Vegetables with chicken and enjoyed it. The service was solid. For my entrée, I had the beef pad kee mow--flat rice noodles with bell peppers, Thai basil, chili, and their signature spicy wok sauce. It was flavorful, spicy, and absolutely delicious! My colleague had the shrimp pad kra plow with Thai basil, chili, bell peppers, and rice, and loved it as well. Of course, we had to finish with the mango sticky rice, which was the perfect dessert. Everything was delicious, and the service was superb! The restaurant is also very nicely decorated, making it a great atmosphere for lunch or dinner. To eat, we started by splitting the chor muang dumplings. These were gorgeous purple dumplings, but I found that their flavor was very delicate. The wrapper was somehow both gummy and overly delicate and broke. They were okay, but definitely more of an aesthetic dish. Next, we got one of the specials, which was a small tart shell filled with raw tuna. This was good, but I felt that the sauce overpowered the delicate fish. For mains, I ended up ordering the kor moo yang (pork jowel). This was the star of the show, it was super tender and flavorful. The relish was barely necessary to be honest. I'd definitely order this again, or get it as an appetizer to split with a few people before the main. To drink, I was really surprised that none of their cocktails were modifiable considering that they have a full bar. They didn't have any cocktails that were speaking to me, so I ended up ordering a zero proof drink, the honey's passion, with a shot of vodka on the side to spike it. This was a good solution. I would probably not go to talay again for food because there are so many good Thai places here, and the food just didn't stand out, but I'd definitely hit the bar for some drinks if I had more time.
