Excellent food--might be the best Thai in Southeast Idaho. The veggie wraps are fresh, every dish a treat. Swimming Rama is a great dish not always found elsewhere. Adjust your heat index--their food tends to be hotter than other places, so scale accordingly. A real treat to eat here. read more

Really expensive for a bus type of food. Wasn't as good as the thia restaurant in town, more expensive, and had to eat in my car. If I'm getting food to eat in my car, or from a bus, it should be cheaper than going into a restaurant. read more

Best Thai in town, hands down. Fast, cheap, delicious. We've had the massaman curry, pad Thai, drunken noodles, Thai iced tea, spring rolls and something else I can't remember but it doesn't matter because everything is phenomenal. I rarely give 5 stars but I could eat here every day. They also have seasonal specials which is fun. Eat here! You will not be disappointed. I have always loved Thai Food and I'm my opinion this is the best in SE Idaho. Anytime I travel out of state I try Thai food anywhere I go. I always find myself thinking these places are good, but Thai Zap is better! Some of my favorite dishes are the 13. Pineapple Fried Rice because of the Yellow curry and pineapple compliment each other so well. I also like the 22. Pad Kah Prow. That basil flavor is great. This was so delicious. I'm not a big fine of too spicy. I ordered my black peppered chicken on a spicy scale of 1( they offer you an option of zero to five on the spicy scale) 1 was perfect for me. Thai Zap is the best Thai food in Pocatello, easily. My favorite thing is the Panang Curry. I always get Panang Curry at Thai places, and I've tried a lot of variations on the dish around the country and this one is just as good as any big city location. I also love the October special - pumpkin curry. Standard red curry is good too. Boyfriend loves the Pad Thai. We also like the crab rangoons and the fresh rolls. Spice scale is no joke, I typically order a 2-3 on a 5 star scale, but here I only order a 1 typically. Prices are so cheap, and the food is always perfect. My favorite place in town - I can't wait until they open their brick-and-mortar location! read more

My wife and I just had our Valentines Day dinner at Thai Zap. We chose it because all of the other Thai restaurants we've been to in Pocatello have been mediocre at best. My wife had the Massaman curry. She thought it was excellent. I had their Valentines Day special and I wish I could remember the name of it because I loved it! Pocatello has 3 Thai restaurants (three!) but Thai Zap is hands down the best. Fresh ingredients are used for a menu of traditional Thai dishes and a few "fusion" creations. The taste is the most authentic in town. I've never had a bad meal there. read more

Have several favorite dishes here. Chicken satay is so tender and so good. Love the peanut sauce that comes with it. You gotta eat it with the sticky rice. Yum! First off I will say this place has excellent food at a great price. The one star rating has to due with potential theft and credit card fraud. Last night I had a 20% bonus tip added to my take out order total. Today I went in and spoke with the owner. He was very polite, and very friendly. After explaining what happened, we reviewed my receipt from last night and my bank receipt to verify that an exact 20% bonus tip was indeed added. The waitress apologized saying that if she did it, was a mistake and she was very sorry. The owner also said that maybe his system had an error and he will have it looked at and he will get back to me. Whether it was human error, machine error, or intentional, I do not know, but it did happen. I explained that my concern inst really about the money, but the principle of what could be going on, of either computer/human error, or possible theft/credit card fraud. My concern is that this may have happened to other customers in the community as well. So if you have gone to this restaurant you may want to verify 20% tip was not added to your total. If so contact the restaurant who I am sure will respond in a very polite manner and resolve the issue. I am eagerly awaiting the owners response and when he does respond, I will update this review. read more
