Its delicately spiced broth, complex flavors and fresh ingredients that never fail to delight the palate and satisfy the appetite. This is definitely the best Thai curry in town and in my opinion the best Thai food period. Additionally staff are super sweet, attentive, and they get my vegetarian order right every time. Fiancé is a meat eater and also loves the food here. Lunch is a great value as it comes w a salad and a large lunch portion. The food is always prompt and freshly prepared. The owner is always there and very helpful when ordering. The adventurous will appreciate the very descriptive menu for those to shy to inquire. A bonus is if you have been in more than once the owner will likely remember what your ordered last time. Also, the menu does offer dishes typically found in typical Asian restaurants for those less daring. They primarily serve a weekday lunch crowd so you can expect a more intimate meal after 5. Came here to enjoy some thai food because I have not had thai food in quite a while. The restaurant was clean and quiet enough to enjoy a conversation without having too talk to loudly. I ordered fried calamari and it was super crispy, not the best fried calamari I have had but also not the worst. The seafood fried rice was tasty with a generous amount of spice. Papaya salad with calamari was light to enjoy in the hot weather. Of course being in a thai food place I ordered thai milk tea which was o-so-sweet and yummy-just what I wanted! Great food. Of all the Thai places me and hubby has ever gone to, first time the food didn't take forever to get out. We ordered the pineapple friend rice that comes with chicken and shrimp. It was a wonderful medley of delight. We also ordered the BBQ pork, which was ok. It wasn't bad but we were ordering everything lol. Hubby ordered his usual, yellow chicken curry with steamed rice. He loved how thick the curry soup was. I ordered the chicken pad Thai which was lovely all the way through. Service was great, our server and host were both very pleasant and checked in on us when it was needed as well as making sure our cups stayed full. Overall; deliciously amazing. Pad thai, yellow and green curry with either pork or chicken are superb choices with nice flavors which can very from visit to visit. Before traveling to Thailand, this place was my favorite Thai place in Modesto. After my trip, it's still my favorite. I've been coming here for a few years now whenever I visit my dad from Sac and it's still delicious. The fresh spring rolls with avocado are the best even compared to those at various Thai places in Sacramento .
