    Papaya salad

Ordered food for pick up. I was able to call in my order ahead of time. Quick and easy. Went to pick up the order and the food was ready by the time I got there (and by the time they have me over the phone). They have quite a selection of foods and from what we ordered the food was absolutely delicious. The papaya salad had so much flavor and was packed November so all the juices didnt spill from the packaging. The noodles we got was fresh, topped nicely. I greatly enjoyed this dish. Also had an order of the Thai Tom yum. Flavor was okay. Although it mostly was broth and not enough meat or any veggies. Overall I thought this place was really good. Ill be back again.

Great service and great food. Will definitely be back for more of that fried rice. It's a small restaurant, but very clean and welcoming.

Once our family arrived we were instantly greeted by a sweet and friendly young lady. She guided us to our seat and handed us our menu. I was glad that they weren't too busy. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The food was delicious and the portion size was good. If we're in the area we would definitely come back.

We were craving Thai food and remembered this quaint spot wasn't in the mood for a rowdy crowded atmosphere and this place was perfect . We got greeted right away and seated . Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and patient with us trying to decide what to eat and did recommend two different appetizers. So we tried their samosas and sausage both excellent. I ended up ordering pad Thai once again extra spicy chicken and tofu . My husband got the thick noodles with chicken and pork . We also ordered some hot Jasmine tea . Everything tasted great . Definitely will give their curry a try next time ,

Beautiful restaurant tucked in at the corner of in and out plaza. Had high expectations and it did not cut it. Spring rolls were cut in a way where all the filling would just fall out. Got the chicken pad Thai and the sauce was odd and most of the noodles were broken unlike having long noodles. Not your typically pad Thai taste. Would recommend Tasty Thai or Kua Lao Thai Kitchen instead.

I am southeast Asian and if you need review please don't get hyped to get food here. It's not worth the drive. Please go to Lao food restaurant instead. I got the Thai boat noodles and the sausage. The sausage was good but I order side of rice. The rice is mushy and not jasmine rice. The sausage sauce is mediocre. The boat noodles came out stuck together. This same boat noodles in SoCal is 18 dollars. That's very pricy for salty noodles.

This is Thaiburi in Turlock. Food looks nothing like pictures. Don't get fooled. Mango sticky rice looked sad. Tom kha was more on the sweeter side. Pad thai and squid yum was ok. Food presentation could've looked better. Overall 2.5/5

I was out in Modesto because I dropped my truck off to get some work done. While waiting my daughter and I decided to grab Thai food and gave Thaiburi a try. I highly recommend this place! We got an order of the Samosas, they were flavorful, light and flaky. The Thom Kha soup, which was loaded with chicken (the protein we chose) and packed with that coconut and lemongrass flavor. My daughter also ordered the yellow curry which again was PACKED with flavor! For my entree I got the crab fried rice, it had plenty of real crab meat and wasn't mushy like others I've had, the flavor wasn't overwhelming and hit just right! Our waitress Falicia was great, friendly and took time to answer questions and joke with my corny daughter. As for the restaurant itself, it was clean and smelled good, not greasy like a lot of other places. The food came out fast and was hot and fresh with huge portions. This will be our go to place in Modesto from now on.

This is a fancier Thai place as compared to the others in town, no chopsticks instead gold utensils with cloth napkins. Beautiful decor Especially the walls which my wife wants to do something like that in our bedroom. Waitress was courteous, friendly and knew the menu well. She was right and a couple of the dishes were sweeter than my wife would prefer but I thought they were perfect. We had the pot stickers, pad Thai, yellow chicken curry with rice, and green papaya salad. Pot stickers were deep fried and crispy but we prefer Chinese style pan fried which are crispy but still have soft dumpling consistency in the top. Next time we will try the egg rolls. The papaya salad was incredibly fresh and the basil gives it a unique flavor, so good!! The yellow curry we ordered medium spice so I thought it was too spicy and wife not spicy enough. She thought it was a little too sweet but I loved it. Wife asked for more spice so they brought three golden bowls with dry chili peepers flakes, hot chili oil and chili paste which she put on everything, me? I just took the pic!! The curry broth was rich , creamy and so good that you could just eat that as a soup,. The chicken pad Thai came with the noodles, purple cabbage, carrots, scallions and sprouts separate and you mixed them together. Again little too sweet for the wife but perfectly delicious to me and yes she added more spice to that dish also. Overall we had a great. Lunch and can't wait to come back.

Food was great. Spring rolls delicious. A bit pricey for seafood Tom Yum with 2 shrimp in whole pot and scallops were tiny and the calamari was ok.Chicken Pad Thai was amazing as well as the Jasmine tea and we got desert mango sticky rice amazing and fried bananas was good but thought more banana less fried stuff would have been better with vanilla ice cream.

I stopped here this evening to pick up dinner to take home, about 10 minutes away. I ordered the fresh spring rolls and the Pad Thai with chicken. I am extremely disappointed with both items. The spring rolls are basically all lettuce with a tiny piece of shrimp and a literal pinch of noodles. The Pad Thai was dry and flavorless and like a brick of noodles in the container. I had high hopes because the restaurant itself is beautiful and the pictures in the menu looked amazing. Sadly, this was not the case. I couldn't even finish either dish because it was so disappointing. The peanut sauce was the only good thing about my experience. I will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone.

Are the Pad Thai, pineapple rice and curry be prepared without being spicy? We are very sensitive to spicy foods.

I have requested no spicy at other restaurants before and have had no problems. I would be very intentional when ordering and let them know that you are very sensitive to spicy foods. They are very accommodating at this restaurant so you shouldn't… Read more

They also ask for your preferred spice level. I say choose carefully as my spice experienced partner confidentially ordered "Spicy". He ended up looking like he got caught in a downpour and was drenched in sweat! lol The woman who took our order was very friendly and helpful! She answered all of our questions about the food with confidence and personal knowledge! The prices are stuck in the early 2020's and the amount of food in the serving is generous! The building is old but the store and the restaurant are spotless! No clutter, all products neatly stacked and the shelves loaded with food items were neatly stacked and arranged. I'll definitely be stopping by again to try the Pad Eggplant with a different protein or maybe to try something new. They also serve drinks. The Thai Ice Tea was very good!

This restaurant is off of Mitchell, which is a busy street, so it is easy to get to. It is part of a large shopping center so lots of parking. The restaurant itself it pretty spacious and has lot of seating. Could very well accommodate a larger group. We were greeted and seated right away. The lady that seated us was very pleasant and met us at the table with iced water and our menus. We ordered: 1. Thai teas: refreshing and delicious. 2. House Special: came with fried shrimp, fried broccoli, Laos sausage, fried chicken, beef jerky and fried egg roll. All fried to perfection and a great plate to purchase to appease most palates. 3. Large sticky rice: which is a must! 4. Laos papaya salad (mild): this comes with 6 Thai chilies and was perfect heat. It comes with a side of fresh cabbage. It was all the things we needed the salad to be. The sauce was dark in color, salty and that danky goodness! 5. Laos sausage: ordered this on accident because I didn't realize there was some sausage that came on the house special platter which was fine because we knew we were taking stuff home. 6. Crispy pork belly: marinated perfectly and fried to perfection. Dipping sauce complimented it well. So much food and I believe the bill came in under $90. A good amount of food, delicious and filling. Glad we stumbled upon this place and don't think it will be our last visit!
