We stopped here after the hot air balloon festival since it was on the way back to our hotel, and I wasn't expecting much--but the food was excellent! We ordered chicken pad thai, beef drunken noodles, shrimp rolls, and white rice (for the 2-year-old LoL). Everything was delicious, and to our surprise, we even received some extra food, which was such a kind touch (maybe because we came close to closing time, but still very appreciated). The interior was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and lots of plants near the entrance--it made me wish we had time to dine in instead of taking it to go. This is close to our home, but we did not have the energy to go and pick up the order so we ordered through GrubHub. Placing the order through GrubHub, I made special note of my allergies. After submitting the order, I waited for about 20 minutes for a recognition and acknowledgment by the restaurant that my order had been received and was in process. The acknowledgment never came through the GrubHub site so I contacted the restaurant directly to make sure that my allergies would be observed. The gentleman who answered the phone stated that my order was being processed, and the driver was waiting to deliver it. What we ordered: Sim Tom Salad very spicy, but refreshing as a summer salad. The price is quite high for the portion size. Shrimp, pineapple curry: enormous, shrimp that have been cleaned perfectly swimming in a flavorful curry sauce. So much sauce that we are conserving it to make up some additional rice so we can use every last bit. Losing a star because the amount of rice was disproportionately small to the amount of curry. I don't understand why the restaurant does not provide sufficient servings proportionate to the main course. I would have paid extra had I known what a small portion of rice would be provided. This was over $30. Was it worth it? I'd say flavorful but price point should be closer to $25. Pad See Ew: broad rice, noodles that are chewy and bouncy in a delightful sauce with shredded chicken and a few vegetables. I wish there were more vegetables, but this was a delicious meal. I would order this again. Sticky rice with mango for dessert. I'm a sucker for this chewy sweet coconut milk, Rice. They do a lovely job. My total bill was close to $90 inclusive above the tax plus the tip which I provided in cash. A very pricey night in. Hence four stars instead of five. read more

We ordered take out from Thailicious and our meals were delish. I had the drunken noodles with tofu and my partner veggie Thai fried rice. We both loved the freshness of the veggies and the flavor profiles. Love a spicy Thai dish which the drunken noodles satisfied. Portions were decent but not excessive. Prices on the higher side but also not unreasonable for the quality. I picked up and the location is pretty low key in a small strip of stores, but was cute and cozy inside. The only note I'll make is that the online ordering system doesn't allow you to make dishes vegetarian but if you call they can easily make subs. read more

Unlike some of their competitors in the "snootier" towns, their dishes are reasonably priced and the portions are plentiful. AND....most important to me, they are afraid to spice the food up, thai style! My favorites are the Pork with Peanut and Massaman Curry but truthfully, I haven't had a bad meal there yet! Everyone complains about the wait here, and I get it.....it takes a while to get your food and if you are just looking to pickup a to go order that can be frustrating. However, they have a sign that explains how short staffed they are and to bear with them as wait times will be long. ITS WORTH THE WAIT! I recommend ordering in, staying at a table, getting a few drinks and order course by course. We actually got free iced green tea because it was the owners birthday! We then started off with appetizers, the chicken satay and summer rolls came out first. We decided to ask if we could add shrimp to the summer rolls and they were able to do that. The chicken satay with the peanut sauce was delicious and incredibly juicy. We then ordered a salad that had fried tofu and pineapple in it, I would honestly skip this salad and get a house salad instead, the veggies were fresh and the ginger dressing was tangy a great combo! However, the pineapple in the salad was not fresh just canned and the fried tofu was not freshly fried it was old, cold and dried out. So next time we will just get a different salad. Our main entrees we got were beef pad Thai and cashew chicken. We asked for the cashew chicken to be spicy and they were able to make that accommodation no problem. The beef pad Thai was delicious as the peanuts and bean sprouts added a nice crunch and the beef was tender & flavorful. Lastly the best part was the mango sticky rice one of my all time favorites. The mango was so ripe and juicy it felt like I was eating a fresh one off a tree. The sticky rice had a delicious coconut sauce on top that wasn't skimpy at all. We actually got the pineapple rice to our table after we were done with our main entrees but we took it to go and had it the next day, the pineapple was canned and not fresh but the flavor over all was nice as a side dish. We will be back but I recommend anyone looking for a quick dinner come back instead when you have time to dine here, our dinner was a little over 2.5 hours but have a few drinks while you wait and enjoy! read more

Not only is the food amazing but the owner is super nice and the place is spotless. When I mentioned the gluten free version she asked if i wanted it GF or if I needed it to be. Basically she was confirming how serious my allergy was. This is beef and shrimp pad see ew. Even if you're not GF you should give it a try. Normally priced around $18 mine was a $3 up charge because of the special sauces and seasonings needed. I ordered it in between "American spicy" and "Thai spicy". It was perfect. When I asked about the other GF items she confirmed they have a separate wok for frying and use rice flour which means CHICKEN WINGS! It's very hard to find wings I can order out. I've been here a few times so far and the food is consistently delicious. I am a vegetarian, my boyfriend is not and the options are endless for the both of us! Portions are perfect and the staff is so pleasant. As for wait time, it is very difficult to find help now...just remember to be kind to people who are trying to do something for you. I was so excited to try Thailicious as I have heard great things. Unfortunately, The food was bland. That's the last thing I expect from a Thai restaurant. And pricey. Also, was given as estimate of 25 Minutes until our food was ready to be picked up. My husband went, and he was told two more minutes. Well, it was much longer than 2 more minutes. In total, my husband waited 55 minutes once he was at the restaurant to pick up our food. When we got the food home (we only live a few minutes away) everything was cold except the chicken pad Thai. This is our second time, and I remember it from our visit to the area in 2021, when they were in a different location. Don't be dissuaded by the plain looks or the location in a small strip mall. This place has serious food chops and a lovely service. We had vegetable spring rolls, these were so good, we had two orders, chicken satee, chicken fried rice, beef pad thai and shrimp pineapple curry. Everything was really good and flavorful. I've been a follower and patron of Thailicious since the food truck days on route 52 in Fishkill. I enjoyed stopping in when they moved to their South Avenue location in Poughkeepsie. Back in those days, Pricing was a little bit on the higher side and the service time was always a wait. But it was worth it due to the quality, authentic Thai food. Recently, we visited their new location on Vassar Road for take out lunch. We waited a very long time for an order we had called in 15 minutes earlier. Total wait was 40 minutes. Portion size is EXTREMELY (like humorously) small considering the large prices. I was disappointed. I'm going to give them one more try as they are only five days into their new location and have a few things to work out. read more

Just finished dinner with the family (there were 5 of us) at the new Thailicious location on Vassar Road in Red Oaks Mill. Hopefully, people will realize this Yelp listing isn't just about catering, but for their full-service restaurant (maybe the name in the header can be changed?). Anyway, it's important to note we were there on Thanksgiving eve. More on that in a minute. I have to say every single dish we had was EXCELLENT. All the food was fresh, well seasoned, well prepared, and nicely presented. And the portions were VERY generous. I'd seen a few reviews and heard from others who have been but don't leave reviews, that the portions were skimpy. I can tell you that's NOT the case with any of the dishes we had. All of them were a good size, bordering on extra large, and if we hadn't been so hungry, I'm sure we would have ended up taking some leftovers home. The dishes we had included Vegetable Spring Rolls, Tom Yum Seafood soup, Thai Wonton Soup, Som Tam Salad, Panang Curry w/Tofu, Massam Curry w/Tofu, and Shrimp Pineapple Curry. All of them had flavor profiles that were distinct to their names and ingredients that were totally fresh and delicious. My Dad, who is a Pad Thai enthusiast, took one bite of his dish and immediately said it was SOOOO much better than the Pad Thai he gets at another local Asian restaurant they frequent. The restaurant itself is on the small side, but still comfortable (so it's more about the limited number of tables), bright, well-appointed with pictures and artwork from Thailand, and clean. (Restrooms included.) The only downside to the evening was the service, which to be honest in the beginning was practically non-existent. There was one woman who sat us when we arrived and gave us water but then disappeared. A gentleman who had been sitting there and apparently was a contractor/handyman for the restaurant gave us our menus and then sat back down at another table. Unfortunately, once we were sitting there for a while with no one coming back to take our order, we wrote it out on a piece of paper and headed back toward the kitchen. The gentleman who gave us our menus, got up and took the order from us, said they would start working on it and brought it into the kitchen. We could tell while we were waiting the kitchen was busy from the sounds of food sizzling and pots and pans being used. During our dinner, LOTS of people came in and out to place and/or pick up carry-out orders, and a couple of other parties came in to sit down. So it seems like people do know about the business one way or another. There was a bit of delay after our order was brought into the kitchen and we were getting concerned it was going to be a VERY long evening however once the first dish showed up (longer than it should have been, but we've experienced worse), everything else was served at a consistent pace. The quality of each dish kept us intrigued for the next and we were very satisfied with the entire meal. As she brought each dish the server (we're still not sure if she was the/an owner, or just part of the staff, but she appeared to be native Thai) was very pleasant and responsive to requests. At the end of the meal, she was very apologetic about the wait and told us due to the fact that it was the night before a holiday (one that's built around eating a lot of food) they didn't think they'd have any customers tonight and didn't have the staff on hand they should have. And the overall price, while not cheap eats, was fair for the size and quality of the food we received. So, if weren't for the service issue, I would have given them 5 stars. The food is definitely worth 6 or 7! Hopefully, the service issue was truly a holiday hiccup and will be corrected moving forward. I will definitely give them another shot when I'm back in town. And if you're concerned about going there to sit down and eat, do what so many others did tonight and order take out. You won't be disappointed. read more

I do not like to leave a mediocre review. Especially since this is a very family run restaurant. This is my second time coming here in a month. Flavors are good. Curry and Pad Thai all very good. But tonight the portions are laughable. The rice came in a small half cup size. The soup had one a shrimp. Here is the thing. I root for this place. It' had tasty flavors but someone needs to tell them that it will never survive with these portions. So they should just raise prices if they need to serve normal size portions or expect to not make it. I hope they choose the former. read more

We were so excited to order from here since we live around the corner, but sadly we had a terrible experience. Ordered $50 worth of food through Yelp/Grubhub. The confirmation said it would be ready in 20 min. I then got an update saying 40 min. My husband went to pick the food up at the 40 min mark and proceeded to wait an entire hour with no food. There were dirty tables everywhere and the two staff were clearly overwhelmed and avoiding the multiple people trying to pick up takeout. They did not seem to have any grasp on the orders or any system at all for tracking them. Eventually, after being told for an hour that our food would be ready in 20 min, my husband asked for a refund and was told they didn't have the order in their system and couldn't give us a refund. Luckily Grubhub was cool about it and refunded the money. I know this place is pretty new and of course we would be understanding about things not being perfect. But we never got any food and my husband felt they were not even apologetic. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more
