The version I had here was OK but very basic. Other versions I've had included big chunks of potatoes and other fresh vegetables. This one really just had thin slices of chicken and not much else. I was with a friend visiting from Ireland who hadn't had much Thai food before, so I wanted to introduce him to the iconic Pad Thai dish. The version served here was just too sweet.
