My sister travels the world for work and all around the country. She's been to the best Thai places in NYC and Atlanta. And when she told me this was some of the best Thai food she's ever had? I had to try it! Well, I'm happy to say that I quite agree! I used to live in Connecticut and tried pretty much every Thai restaurant in the general area I was in. They don't even come close to this. I just had here tonight. My God whatever they're doing in the kitchen, bravo! This was some of the most authentic, well done Thai food I've ever tasted. I got the chicken pad Thai, and the soup. My dad got the chicken sauté and the dumplings. We split everything. We will definitely be coming back. Thoroughly enjoyed everything! We ordered take out but I can only imagine how much better this tastes fresh. Thank you for bringing great food to such a small town.

I ordered the Fried Calamari, and Duck Pad Thai. The calamari was too chewy, and the dipping sauce was liquidy, and not very flavorful. The pad thai tasted okay, but was slightly on the sweet side - which I was not really a fan of. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant is located in downtown Haddonfield, so there is side street parking. 2/5.

The whole family ordered a large range of items from the menu and it all look great! The portions were large and yummy With many of us needing takeout containers. The service was quick and thorough.

Great Thai food. We stopped at this Thai restaurant on our drive down to Wildwood. It is excellent! We had piping hot, crispy, spring rolls, chicken Penang curry, and Pad See Euw with tofu. The chicken Penang curry was really good, the broth, slightly thick, moderately spicy, with a few large chunks of Kafir lime leaves. and lots of green beans and broccoli. The noodles had a delicious, smoky spicy flavor, the tofu was crispy, scattered with carrots and bit of egg. The service was terrific. One person was there, and he announced to us: this is a one-man show! The restaurant is very sparse, along narrow rectangle. The location is inside a strip mall, from the outside it is small and modest in appearance, but inside it is warm, spicy and delicious.

Absolutely amazing! Second time having drunken noodles and I must say it may just beat the other one I had that was more pricey. Prices are fair and vegetarian options are available Although tofu isn't on the menu. My server was more then happy to make my drunken noodles vegetarian by replacing the meat for tofu. If your into spicy this dish is for you. Tell your server you like spice, if you don't tell them and they'll make it less spicy.

The fried rice was 5 star and the pad Thai 4 stars. We are definitely not going to complain! Thank you for having such a delicious dinner option in the area, and for staying open past 8pm. Will try the drunken noodle next time as that also seems to be something everyone is raving about.

    Beef spicy basil stir-fry

The food is great, but the service is even better. It's a small restaurant, but they serve authentic Thai dishes. The prices are very reasonable compared to those in my hometown state. We ordered Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Chicken Satay, Pad See Ew, and Thai Iced Tea. For lunch, they served us egg rolls and also made a special Beef Spicy Basil Stir-fry for us.

Really americanized can't really call it thai food. Really expensive on top of that. Appetizers were frozen and fried or just reheated.

I stuck with my usual two eggs, which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My fiancée ordered the Pretty Toast, their take on French toast, topped with cream cheese, pecans, and sweetened peaches. It honestly reminded me of peach cobbler! When I saw her plate, my jaw dropped--I was instantly jealous! She let me steal a couple of bites, and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of those dishes you could enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or even as a sweet snack. The food was a solid 10/10. Our server, Ben, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to tell us a little about the menu and even suggested we try something different. Looking back... I probably should have listened! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. It honestly felt like sitting in your nonna's kitchen--warm, comfortable, and full of charm. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the dinner menu. When we were finally seated we had a great waitress who shared her recommendations. We landed on the Eggs Benedict and the $19 BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE FRENCH TOAST, which is baked cinnamon & vanilla custard-soaked brioche, butterscotch apples; topped with brown butter oat streusel & Philly whip. Unbelievable. The place was loud and popping on a Sunday around noon. Not intimate, but a fun post-church gathering of hungry souls. Haddonfield itself is a cute little town with what appeared to be a lot of cute dining spots. We will definitely make this our pit stop on future NY - DC sojourns!

The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was genuinely pleasant from the start. Julian, our server, greeted us promptly, got coffee on the table quickly, and kept everything moving smoothly. In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee. Pricing felt very reasonable for the area, and overall it was a good stop we would happily return to.

My husband, who has been to Paris and is very particular about his escargot, said it was the closest he has ever had to the real thing. That alone says a lot. We started with the mushroom toast, which was hands down the best toast we have ever had, along with deviled eggs topped with salmon roe that added the perfect burst of flavor. Every bite felt thoughtful and elevated. For our mains, we ordered the coq au vin and duck frites, and both were outstanding. The sauces were rich and balanced, and the meats were cooked perfectly. Dessert sealed the deal with crème brûlée and pot de crème. The crème brûlée, especially, was a masterpiece. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself is small and charming with a cozy, intimate feel. We made our reservation the night before and were off. Entering, you immediately notice only about half a dozen tables in the same room the food is prepared. It's a nice setting that is definitely unique. We started with a tomato bisque. It was creamy, smooth, and a great hot soup to start off a chilly winter evening. My main course was the Duck Frites. A generous helping of fries, with a smaller helping of duck strips. The amount of duck was a little disappointing, but it had a good flavor and a touch chewy. It came with an unusual banyuls aioli sauce on the side, that I quite liked. We finished the evening with a crepe cake that was quite large. I would definitely recommend splitting it, but I found it to be lovely sweet way to end the evening. The crepe was probably about ten layers and soft enough to cut through with a spoon. It came served with a raspberry coulis and powdered sugar. The ends were fired to conclude the dish with a light crunch. All and all, I enjoyed my meal at the Little Hen. If you're in the area, it's a nice place to have an upscale meal or a romantic evening in a small town not all too far outside of Philadelphia.
