Great surprise. I was reluctant to try it only to really enjoy myself. A sort of a Dives, Diners and Drive type of place.

Chicken was hard and overcooked. The chicken sandwich is drenched in sauce and falls apart from the giant oversized chicken piece.

Literally the best chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life! I just got a classic fried chicken sandwich with mayo and lettuce and tomato but got a few different sauces in the side to dip my fries in, and I am honestly blown away by how delicious every single thing is. I will definitely be back but I'll make sure to bring more friends to help me with the giant portions :) P.S. I also got the pretzel bites and they were SO GOOD; the cheese sauce rocks! read more

Really solid chicken spot! My wife and I were stoked to try this place, so we got a sampling of a bunch of stuff they had to offer - tater tots, bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, chicken tenders, and the crispy grilled cheese sandwich. Everything was pretty darn good! The chicken was huge, moist, and tender. Usually when you get meat that big, it's bound to be stringy, but somehow it wasn't. Really good stuff. The breading was thin, seasoned throughout with spices, and not too salty (I was expecting more salt, but was fine there wasn't). We got two sauces on the chicken - the nashville hot and the buffalo. The Nashville definitely didn't live up to my expectations - I was expecting it to be fiery red, drenched in bright red chili powder and oil... but this was almost not even spicy - just buttery. It was still good (buttered, fried chicken!), but not what I expected. The buffalo sauce was solid - seemed like a standard, familiar sauce. The tots came in a huge container and were enough for a small army, so that was fun. Jalapeno poppers were really good, too. I accidentally read a review here beforehand about someone on the toilet. Yikes... but that didn't ruin the experience - the bacon was well cooked (a bit broiled, not crispy or anything), they were stuffed generously with cream cheese, and the jalapenos were pretty spicy - a good combination for maximum gluttony. Overall, I think I'd definitely visit again and I'd probably get the buffalo tenders again - or maybe try a sandwich or the other sauces. read more

We didn't know the owners changed. No signs, so we didn't know just thought it upgraded stuff. Totally unhappy with the new food. All spice and normal was spicy and we love spicy. The location was in a great place and it the staff was awesome. This location is perfect to get something to eat and grab a beer to watch sports games. The appetizers were delicious with the jalapeños poppers and the loaded tots. The main burgers dishes were a different story. The grilled chicken sandwich was fine, but I didn't like the fries at all. They used lime flavoring salts on the fries and made the meal very sour. It ruined my experience. If I could give higher stars I would. We always drove by saying "oh we should try this". Well, we finally did and it was like...what took us so long!! We ordered a bunch of stuff to try. The food is cooked to order and not under a warming light. The jalapeno poppers were awesome! The bacon was perfect and not greasy or floppy. The chicken tenders were meaty and not dry. We loved the Korean sauce. The fried chicken was juicy although the skin appeared dark...but it wasn't burned. We could not stop moaning it was so good!! We ordered a pasta salad that really was tasty. And they cooked their tater tots perfectly!! Staff was friendly. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Wow! Friendly staff and owner, welcoming atmosphere, and great food! We ate here before the hockey game and it was awesome! We ordered the chicken tenders and a grilled sandwich thinking we would split each between the two of us. I had no idea the portions would be so big though! The chicken tenders were 3 large pieces that could have easily been 3 half chicken breasts on a huge pile of crispy tater tots! I ordered them tossed in Korean sauce but you can get the sauce on the side, plain or another sauce of your choice. The Korean sauce was tangy, semi sweet and garlic with a hint of spicy heat. Very good! The grilled sandwich was ham and turkey with cheese on sourdough and was also a huge sandwich on oversized bread. Very delicious and filling! We ended up having to put half of the food in the car before going into the hockey game because we were stuffed! They also have beer on tap and bottled plus a fully stocked bar selection. Overall: disappointing Food: nothing special. We had chicken wings, pretzel sticks, chicken tenders and grilled cheese and chicken (plus three sodas). Service: good. Friendly. Ambiance: good. They had a blowup chicken just outside the door and the air blower was really loud. Value: horrible. Overall cost was $98 for the food mentioned above. Came here since it was one of the few fast casual places that was open. The menu seemed good to me - different types of chicken? Sign me up! My husband and I shared a sandwich and some wings. Overall it was pretty disappointing. My husband's sandwich was incredibly tiny for the price, and the breading kept falling off. It tasted good though! The tots had kind of a weird spice seasoning on it... a little sour to me. But they were at least crispy. My Parmesan garlic wings were in all honestly pretty bad. I ate them only because I hadn't eaten all day. They were first off drenched completely in sauce, and the sauce was straight up like a soup with no thickness whatsoever. The taste was also not great... it was almost like alfredo and it had a sour note to it as well. What I will give them though is that the wings were pretty hefty, so lots of meat inside. My boyfriend has wanted to try this place for a long time. They close at 6pm, which has made it difficult to get there. We finally went today. There were two women working. Neither seemed especially friendly. The one who got our drinks seemed irritated when I asked my completely bubble-free fountain Coke be replaced with a can. We got the chicken tender basket with Nashville sauce. The sauce wasn't bad, had a little heat. The chicken was bland and seemed tough or over-cooked. It is right across from angle of the winds arena So this place is a perfect pre funk spot has a nice little bar wear you can get a beer and a shot and go to a game or whatever. The staff and owner are super friendly and almost make you feel like you are at home. The food was amazing let's start with the chicken this was great the Nashville sauce was not to spicy but had a great flavor. There breading of the chicken has great crunch and has a secret ingredient to it that works so well with the Nashville seasoning. They use a deboned check thigh so it was juicy and full of flavor. Was encouraged by friends to try. It's under new management by a local family, and this was the grand reopening. Regrettably not a lot of people this night for a kick off. Not much going on in the area this evening. Clean and neat with a Friendly staff that made me feel welcome. Its not very big inside so could get crowded if there is something going on at the event center across the street. The menu seems very appropriate for a small place across from a sporting venue. I tried and enjoyed the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, but found the fries too soggy for my tastes, I like fries crispy. Also the bread to meat ratio seems a bit out of place. It's a good sized piece of chicken but the bun is so big that it gets lost. I found it interesting that they don't offer any traditional fried chicken anymore, but do make up for it with a good selection of wings and tenders. I'm told the poppers and burgers are good but since it's a chicken place that what I went with. They do have a small selection of hard alcohol and canned drinks. I had the pleasure of going to "That chicken place" with some co-workers the other day. What an awesome little restaurant! Like many of the restaurants in the downtown Everett area, this place is not large and with Covid protocols in place it can be hard to find a seat if it's busy. Luckily we were there at a good time and found a place to sit. As the name states, this is a chicken centered restaurant. They have everything from chick wings and Buffalo chicken dip, to your classic chicken soup and fried chicken. I tried their grilled cheese with a side of chicken soup. The sandwich had two types of cheese and was sandwiched between two large squares of Texas toast. It was buttered perfectly and the combo of the medium and sharp cheeses was wonderful. The Buffalo chicken dip was pleasant, but personally I like to have blue cheese crumbles in it. But I understand not everyone likes blue cheese. And if it was in the dip I didn't notice it. Still a wonderful appetizer served with celery, carrots and chips. But for me the best part was the chicken soup. It had homemade noodles, shredded chicken and was pretty thick. A little heavy handed on the pepper for my taste, but not overwhelming by any means. If you are in the downtown Everett area, this place is off Hewitt. I am currently sitting on the toilet shitting out my brains. I ate one of their jalapeño poppers and realize the bacon didn't seem real cooked I pulled one apart: The bacon fat was still stringy, not cooked! Unfortunately what they do is wrap jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and bacon and then they tried to broil them. What you get is under cooked bacon and raw jalapeños that have absolutely no flavor and give you horrible shits. You need to cook those things at like 250 to 300° for like an hour to an hour and a half. Can you reheat some for an order. These were not cooked. I was going to take it back and throw it at the restaurant but my wife would not let me. I like their chicken wings and I would like to see them do well so I'm not going to bomb them with a one star but I will say that my starfish is burning. I wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich I thought it was thoroughly disgusting. I will sadly be back here because they make pretty decent wings not far away from independent beer bar. Even though the manager/owner assured me he was using the recipes from the other owners. It was not the same recipes and not even close to what they use to sell. Hometown good. We came in around 3pm on a Tuesday, so it wasn't to busy. The greeter was friendly and happily answered our multiple questions. We ended up getting the chicken burger with pasta salad and the fried chicken platter, with a side of Korean sauce. My sandwich was huge and delicious, but the pasta salad was the highlight of my meal. The fried chicken was moist and perfectly done, and tasted like grandmas recipe with a slightly thicker breading.
