I have been going here since its been opened. As with any place that just opened they always have a few kinks to work out. I have seen the manager very involved with customer addressing there concerns. My last few visits have been great. My food was excellent and got to us in a very timely manner. I would recommend all to go and give Flippin another try. Evans really needed a place such as this. read more

I don't understand the low rating this app has for the Flippin Egg. My wife and I are there every Sunday and the food is always awesome, and the service top rate. If you don't believe me, just walk through the door, that is if you can get through the crowd waiting to be seated at this establishment and see for yourself. Waffle House style breakfast, but not as good as Waffle House. Waitress got my order wrong and then tried to convince me what I had ordered. Greasy hash browns, shrivel bacon, first and last time going. Building looks so great on the outside and the food and atmosphere, doesn't match. read more

Not impressed. The exterior of the building is very nice and inviting and the service was good but the food was not worth the money spent. It's rare that my children leave a restaurant hungry, but after our first pass at the breakfast buffet they chose not to go back. They even mentioned that my home cooked breakfast was way better. Ok Will start off by saying when you were Evans dinner I was a weekend usual, loved the food, staff all of it. Since your move have only been there 3 times and all 3 times left very disappointed. Staff is not as professional, building is in need of repair, lights blinking area distraction and unsafe, stone falling off the outside at the entrance. And now the food. all the food taste the same, the hash browns are chewy(awful), order a large orange juice and the glass comes only 1/2 half full? Whats up with that? Let's only discuss the food because it overwhelms the fairly good service. The eggs and chicken were over cooked and the hash browns were under cooked. The chicken was very salty, and this is coming from the healthy choice side. No flavor to the food. There is nothing healthy on this menu. The food is over priced, your better off at Waffle House. read more

First time visiting - last time eating there. Food was mediocre at best - certainly not worth what they're charging for it. Burnt toast and corned beef hash. Over charged for meal, charged for lumber jack meal instead of alacart. Then she brought out a fruit cup and said it was part of the meal (even though I told her I didn't want it) - was charged almost $2 for that as well. When server was asked to correct the check we were told they weren't supposed to do "all that alacart stuff." Then why do they have an alacart menu? If you go, make sure you don't get Victoria as a server. read more

Ain't worth a flip! They were busy so about a 15 minute wait to be seated, not bad, but once seated and drinks were served our server forgot about taking our order. After 25 minutes had to call the host over and then server arrived back at table and we placed order, another 25 minutes before food arrived. Before we finished eating server delivers our check and complained about how long it was taking for food to come out. She said we could take the check up front to the host, as if he might comp something, but he made no offer and acted shocked when we said we won't be back but then proceeded to say they were not prepared for how busy it was today...July 4th....really! So they knew they were not prepared and were providing poor service but ignored making any apology or offering to even slightly discount the check. When I pay full price I kinda expect full service... my mistake! read more

I wasn't a fan of the service, the cleanliness of the restaurant or the food. I went with a large party as soon as the restaurant opened and we were informed that we were supposed to call 24 hours prior because of our party size, a policy which I couldn't find listed anywhere but understandable so they could have changed their staffing since they only have one hostess/ waitress( unless you count the large wolf spider that almost escorted us to our tables) and one cook in the morning. The first thing I noticed was that my table was sticky with something that hadn't been cleaned up from the day before since no one had sat there that morning and under a few of my fellow diners chairs was probably a full cup of dried red juice which made me believe they hadn't mopped either. Across from my table laid a dying cockroach that one of my table mates had to pickup with a napkin and throw it outside just so he wouldn't have to stare at it while he was eating. I ordered a breakfast home fry skillet with bacon, sausage, and grilled onions and was severely underwhelmed. Usually when I think skillet I think chopped up meat with whatever else you ordered in it not whole strips of bacon on laid of flavorless potatoes and eggs, and the grilled onions I ordered were raw which defeats the whole purpose of getting grilled onions. The booth I was seated in got our food, finished eating , and paid our checks before our whole party even had their plates. Needless to say I will never visit this restaurant again nor will I recommend it to anyone but I hope anyone that goes has a much better experience read more

Food was great and the service was wonderful. I had the skillet and it was so good. It was extremely busy and I was surprised that I was served so quickly. I did visit when they first opened and they were having some issues but so glad I came back because you can tell they have fixed a lot of their issues. Need a new breakfast/ brunch spot? Talk about hands down new spot to eat. The prices are very reasonable, and not to forget everything is made from scratch. The collard greens are to die for. I'd Iike to rate the food, but we never got our order. Ordered omelets and 30 Minutes later we had nothing. When we asked they made no excuse, just that our order had only been in 13 minutes. Shame that we had ordered and started texting work and clearly showed 30 minutes had passed. Just an insult to us. No we're sorry for the mixup. Everyone around us were served before us even when we'd ordered first. I'd never go back here, but I'm just visiting sooo I wish the locals luck. read more

Wow! This place is Great! Just what we needed in Augusta. The service is amazing; the staff truly seems to care and wanted to make our experience the best it could be. The food... Wow, the food! Excited to hear that another breakfast restaurant was opening. Went with my daughter and grandchildren last Saturday. When we got there we were told that the wait would be 20 minutes. I was actually surprised that it was actually less than that. What I didn't know was that we probably got seated because people got tired of waiting for their food and left. The wait staff was delightful. You could tell how frustrated they were as they kept apologizing for what was going on in the kitchen. We were told that one of the cooks called in but it was an open kitchen and to be honest food should have constantly been coming out but it wasn't. I'm glad my grandchildren were patient because when all was said and done we waited about an hour and a half for our food. To make matters worse my eggs were not only terribly overcooked, they were ice cold. Our waitress immediately took it back and returned with a delicious, hot skillet. The reason I didn't give this one star is because the food was actually pretty good and so was our waitress. Will I try it again? Yes but the experience will have to be better or next time will be the last time. read more
