A few friends have gotten their brows done and have always raved about how simple the upkeep is. So I scoured the internet and came across Jeana. Scheduling with her was super easy. She's super easy to talk to and really provides a comforting and homey vibe once you get to the studio. Love the aesthetics - I actually fell asleep while she was working on my brows! That's how comfortable I was. Her studio is located in Downtown Pasadena - it's right next to the plaza that has Mandarin Coffee Stand. Located on the second floor, near the bathroom where you follow a corridor to get to the studio. I actually got my initial brows done with one of the students that she was training. And then I came back for a touch up where Jeana worked on my brows herself. I thought her student did a good job, but I have to say that my expectations were completely toppled after Jeana helped touch up my brows. I definitely trust her expertise and decision making 100%. I don't really know too much about brows, but I had already gotten compliments the day of and even days after where people pointed out how nice my brows look. Process is not painful at all, maybe a 2/10 if I had to rate it. She sent me home with some brow aftercare, which was really nice. And the best part - now I can just roll out of bed with my brows done and not have to worry about them looking sparse or too light! Highly recommend Jeana if you're looking to get your brows done. She takes into consideration what you are looking for, what suits your face, and goes about executing the vision 1000% better than you could have expected. Definitely will be recommending her to my friends and coming back in the future for all my brow needs!

Exterior = 5/5 Located near the train station, it's on the corner of a street. There is parking (if you are lucky) inside but only a few spots, so most likely go for street parking but wasn't hard to find in front of the location. Interior = 5/5 It was bustling, they have a salon that had customers coming and going. I came specifically for the microblading - so Kelly brought me over to a room on the right that was private which I appreciated since after you close the door, it muffles the sounds of all the activity outside. Service = 5/5 Everyone I encountered were super kind and welcoming. Kelly is blowing up and doing all these cool events with her team with Gold House and still managing weddings all over. Yet, she is still so humble and takes her time to chat and learn more about the customer. I was super nervous to get microblading but she walked me through the process, helped me feel comfortable with the results we were planning, and would check in on me frequently through the whole thing. I felt like I had a say in the process and honestly that a friend was doing my brows - it was casual, relaxed, and chill. Order = 5/5 I got the combo brows which is microblading with powder. I will never not get this. I had patchy brows (over plucking, scarring, yikes) that I was super self conscious of growing up and was having to fill them in. Since getting these done - I barely have had to fill in, maybe a slight touch up if I have an event or need to do some make up. If you like bare faced and natural looks, this was game changing. I'm super not familiar with make up or skilled at it - enough to be dangerous, and this helped me so much. I feel more confident and happier with my brows. Only slight upkeep is needed to trim! I have already gotten my touch up from the initial appointment, and you only need to go maybe every year or so after to touch up. Overall = 5/5 Great investment that I kick myself for not having done sooner. But honestly, glad I waited till I found Kelly. I tried brow lamination, and it wasn't for me. Her microblading skills are top notch and give a very natural look which I wanted. I found my brow girl and never going back. Hint = check her Instagram if you are indecisive, I saw them all and I knew she was the one. My photo is on there too!

Sunny is the absolute best when it comes to fixing boxed eyebrows that were done by other artists. I had quite the experience with microblading and my poor brows were two different shapes afterwards! I had a lot of anxiety about asking another artist to fix them after naively trusting the first one and having a disaster of an experience. Gratefully, Sunny reassured me that my brows were fixable and I can honestly say that I absolutely love them now! UPDATE: Thank you…read morefor your explanation regarding the healing process. I understand that lip blush takes time to heal. However, my concern is not only about the healing stage. During the procedure, the border of my left upper lip was accidentally scraped. When I first asked about it, I was told it might be swelling or bruising, but later it was acknowledged that it may have happened accidentally during the procedure. I also requested lip mapping before the procedure, but was told it was not necessary. Because of these issues and the overall experience, I no longer feel comfortable returning for additional procedures or corrections. For this reason, I would like to request a refund for the service. I hope we can resolve this matter professionally. -------------------------------------------- I had a lip blush procedure done at this studio and it was a very disappointing experience. After the procedure, my upper lip shape turned out uneven. During the process, the artist accidentally scraped the border line of my left upper lip, which affected the outline. As a result, my lip now looks like lipstick has been drawn outside of my original lip border line. When I brought this up, the artist said it was caused by the ink and that it would go away after healing, and asked me to follow up after the healing process. However, lip blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure and requires a very high level of precision, especially along the lip border. Because of this experience and the current result, I no longer feel comfortable trusting this artist or returning for a touch-up. This has been very upsetting and I regret choosing this studio. Please be very cautious before booking a lip blush procedure here.

I had to ask for multiple reapplications of the numbing cream, and to be honest, I wish I had found Salin sooner. I had been looking to get eyeliner done because as I age and can no longer see clear up close (don't get me started with trying to put on eyeliner with reading glasses), my eyeliner just looks horrible. After following Salin's page, I decided to go for it. I developed allergies to magnetic eyeliners since I was wearing magnetic lashes, and I needed to do something about my appearance. I made an appointment and drove an hour out to see her. My best advice is to arrive early because of traffic. Yes, you do have to pay before the procedure. The price is adjusted depending on the shape you want. I didn't mind that. I understood that this was a business, and who knows, maybe she got scammed before. Anyway, I was willing to pay extra because I have hooded eyes, and like I mentioned before, I have difficulty putting on eyeliner. Being Asian, my eyes are hooded and small, and I have no eyelid crease. So I have a different problem entirely. We spent a good 30 minutes getting the shape right. I wasn't picky about the shape because she is a professional, and after seeing photos of her work, I trusted her judgment and told her to do what she felt was best. We changed shapes twice, and honestly, I am glad she did. The first drawn in line was ok. However, when my eyes were open, you couldn't see them. She changed it to a different style I have never seen before and WOW! My eyes look way better! I don't look so tired! I will also add that I felt no pain! So much that I fell asleep, and she said I was snoring a little! :) Anyways, the procedure from the time I arrived to the time I left was around 3 hours long. Salin is truly worth it. I will return to her to fix my lip blush. Also, keep in mind. Not many permanent makeup artists work on the eyelid. She is truly a master. For those commenting on thick eyeliner, it is worth it for people with hooded eyes like me. If you had big eyes with an eyelid crease, you may not need it. But for someone with eyelids like mine... I need it. If she teaches it to her students, it's good because she is accommodating all different eye shapes. I made an appointment for a touch up next month. Can't wait!

Everything is white, which is good for cleanliness, but I was a little bit intimidated walking in, because BrowDay is actually inside of a wig shop, which is a little bit confusing. Still, highly recommend!
