Haven't had food from this place in a long time. I remember it being good...but I just had it again today and it was delicious!! I had the "loco burrito" but in a bowl style...oh my goodness.! I love it! It's exactly how I remembered it but I highly recommend getting it in a bowl! It has a hint of spice but not to the point where you need to chug down a gallon of water type of spicy. It's perfect. This is a little on the heavier side and you will be full in a couple of bites which is awesome because then you have two meals!! In a bowl style, I find it much easier to save the rest for later this way..as opposed to the burrito style where it's falling apart on me and I eventually wind up eating with a fork anyway. The place is a little pricier than you would normally see in Bayside, however, the portions are HUGE. I got the healthy cobb salad and it was stacked to the brim. They only gave one dressing which was not enough for the amount of food in the salad. I also ordered the strawberry, banana smoothie and substituted with soy milk. I personally love the thicker smoothies which is why I opted for the milk option but they also allow you to substitute with water, strawberry juice (what it originally comes with), and milk. I wish I could give this NO stars. This was the absolute WORST order I've ever had delivered. This sandwich was the WORST Caprese sandwich I've ever had. The sandwich had tomatoes stuffed in it with some mozzarella cheese and it soaked the bread. It was a gooey mess. I had to remove nearly all of the tomato and toast it all over again.....which didn't work. The bread was still soaked. I proceeded to eat around the center because after an hour for the food to arrive, I was starving. I couldn't get it down, it was slimy and flavorless. The fires were cold and stiff. They pretty much stuffed this wrap with spinach and neglected all other ingredients....like turkey. One of my favorite spots for fresh juice and healthy wraps that are completely stuffed as full as it can be. The livewire juice is my go-to juice and the rainbow symphony smoothie is great as well if you're a fan of all berries. I recommend trying the sweet and sour chicken wrap if you're looking to try a grilled chicken wrap. I normally order ahead 5-10 minutes and pick it up without having to wait at all. Great lunch alternative compared to all the other less healthier options that are around the area. Starting with the staff - no matter who they have hired has been the sweetest and most helpful employee you could ask for. The food itself its bangin! Ive had numerous wraps over the years and my top two are the chicken teriyaki (which has improved) and the grilled chicken caesar. So after not being impressed with this place, I recently decided to give it a try again and I'm glad I did. We ordered the CLT wrap: chicken, lettuce tomato, Swiss cheese with honey Dijon mustard. This was absolutely delicious and fresh. We also got the Portobello Mushroom Panini, that also had tomato and mozzarella cheese with a special roasted garlic ketchup. Let me just tell you if you're a ketchup lover you need to get this because the garlic gives it a special kick! This panini is also perfect if you're a vegetarian. The tuna melt panini was good (nice bread), the chicken pesto panini was good, but the shrimp quesadilla was only edible because of the ingredients. It was loose and sloppy, little shrimp falling out all over the place, and while the cheese was fine, I felt like it was probably American cheese. The whole thing was so floppy and the presentation on this foam plate was so lame, and finding the flavor was like finding peace in the Middle East. My wife said the same of the chicken pesto panini... she had to ask for salt packets (there were no spices on the tables). All in all, it's not that I would avoid the food there, but y'know... The little egg white I could find was also obviously already cooked, slimey, and reheated. The little sliver of avocado I could find was hard and unripe. Disgusting. And they charge $2 extra for it. Never coming here again. The smoothie was mostly ice. I paid $10 for a frozen spinach wrap. This is not the fresh food restaurant it purports to be. All the veggies are frozen and heated. So disappointed. Bayside needs a fresh healthy wrap place and this is NOT it. Today I went to grab dinner to bring home and although this was not my first choice, my friend requested it and I saw some good reviews, so I was like why not? I never had a Greek salad with balsamic vinegar but whatever. But it wasn't even enough dressing. The salad was definitely not fresh. The lettuce blend was all wilted and brown. My friend said the grilled chicken was so dry she nearly choked. I didn't think we should risk our life and eat this salad and get sick with food poisoning or something worse! I totally understand that restaurants were struggling during the rona and need our support. However, I don't think this means they get a free pass. You still have to serve quality food that's edible to your guests. This salad was $15, and it ended up in the trash. The staff however was friendly and everyone was wearing a mask. Whenever I'm craving a chicken Cesar wrap I know this is hands down the best spot for a quick pick up. Always reliable and taste delicious. The ratio of grilled chicken to romaine lettuce and Cesar dressing is perfect. Which makes it difficult not to finish every bite! I have always passed by this place but was never tempted to try it until one day my wife said she and her coworkers had it and it was pretty good. I got the The Mick Wrap $6.95 (Egg whites, sauteed spinach, sliced turkey breast, roasted peppers and Swiss) and the Mrs got the CLT Wrap $6.95(Chicken, lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, avocado, Swiss and Dijon. Served in your choice of wrap.) and we both got a drink: Mango Mania Smoothie (Mango and pineapple) and Detox Green Machine Juice (Spinach, wheat grass, celery, parsley, apples and pears) The Mick Wrap was awesome mainly because I'm an egghead and loves eggs, it was hot and well seasoned, the Swiss cheese totally combined all the ingredients together. The wrap was nice and soft and the sauteed spinach made me feel like I done my part and had veggie for the day! It was a huge wrap and I had to save half of it for another day!
