Big shoutout to Emma and Olga for helping me out today! I've been meaning to get my wedding band…read moreresized for eons since having a baby over 6 years ago, my ring just doesn't fit the same as it used to. I've been putting it off forever but when I also happened to get a pearl bracelet from my husband for Christmas that got damaged and warped, I knew I needed to get it fixed. Since the original jeweler who made my wedding band and engagement ring went out of business many years ago, I needed to find a new local jeweler to help with my jewelry. After many very prompt back and forth messaging via Yelp, I finally found time in my busy mom life schedule to swing by and get my jewelry looked at! Olga and Emma were so kind and patient while discussing with me what we could potentially do with the bracelet. The ring resizing discussion was easy and we were able to settle on how much bigger I'll need the band. They send their jewelry offsite for repairs and were very clear and communicative about the process and cost. Loved my interactions with the staff and think I've found our new local jeweler for all our jewelry needs!

Found out the prongs were still in good condition (after we were told from an another jeweler that they needed to be repaired-their estimated was around $2,500). Then, Atif, cleaned the ring and another one, free of charge. Thank you!

First - I LOVE their security measures in place, having the control to unlock the door for their customers. It made us feel safe, especially with all the recent jewelry store robberies that have been going on in the Bay Area. Upon entry, we were greeted with warm personalities and smiles from the three ladies behind the counter. They never pressured us and allowed us time to look around. When we were ready, one of the sale clerks came over to help us. We explained that we wanted a simple, single, white gold band, and then selected a diamond. She laid out everything for us to look at and when she dropped the diamond on the setting, my heart knew it was the one I wanted. The diamond is 2.10 karats, and it's simply breathtaking! We did not trade in my wedding ring, it was a purchase for my right hand and a "I'll love you more than forever" ring from my husband. We opened a credit account and it was so easy, with six months interest free! We highly recommend the Jewelry Exchange in Redwood City for all your jewelry needs! Especially if you are purchasing an engagement ring, or wedding set! We also got my wedding rings from this same store, 18 years ago and they are still holding strong. The customer service and attention we received in this store was nothing short of AMAZING!

Shopping for a special gift can feel very stressful and confusing, but Liliana made the entire process fun and easy. She took the time to educate me on the different diamond options without ever making me feel rushed or pressured to spend more. Her deep knowledge and genuine kindness turned a difficult choice into a memorable milestone. I could not be happier with the piece I chose, and I will definitely be back to see Liliana for all my future jewelry needs!

Art and People Glass is essentially a water pipe store that also sells jewelry, BUT it is NOT your typical head shop. The store was light, bright and clean. The sales people were clear-eyed, smart and knowledgeable. A guy named Sam patiently walked me through their inventory and explained everything. I am embarrassed to say even though I am in my 70's there is a definite gap in my education. Even if you don't 'smoke' this place is definitely worth a visit just to look at the beautiful glass art.

i was stuck in traffic on the el camino in san mateo the other day i looked over and saw this shop…read morethat looked pretty new it had lights in the windows and i could see some bongs in the front. As i was looking in the guy behind the counter waved at me which seemed a little strange(i wasn't used to smoke shop employees being friendly) i didn't have anywhere to be so i hung a u turn and parked in front of the shop as i was getting out i saw a sign that said BUY ONE GET ONE FREE which i was used to seeing at burger king not a smoke shop!!. walking in to the shop was a completely different experience to what i was used to (like most people from san mateo I've grown up going to the cave which meant customer service was kind of wishful thinking and since they were pretty much the only game in town the prices were hella high) the guy behind the counter introduced himself as Sam and asked if it was my first time in there. I said it was and he proceeded to give me a tour of the shop from a variety of scientific bongs to colorful pipes and even some beautiful animal pipes(i couldn't tell they were pipes until he showed me) they have a great selection of concentrate pieces including a few things only they make. It blew me away that not only did they make everything in the shop but that it was all made locally!!! To make the shop even cooler they have hand carved wooden pipes hanging from the walls. The prices were....idk how to say this but ive never seen such low prices for such high quality I even asked if the tags were a misprint. Sam just laughed and said his boss was a little crazzy but that they believed if the customer was happy then so would they. Sam was really chill and talked me through the whole selection including some pretty complicated perculator systems. He even let me test out a bong i liked using a vapor pen to give me the full feeling, I've never had that happen in a smoke shop before and it was sick!!!! He helped me sign up for their mailing list which also entered me in a monthly contest for a free piece from the shop. I found a cool little turtle pipe and with the buy one get one free i also got a really cool glass sherlock holmes pipe!! the whole transaction only cost me $45!!! Even after i was done buying things i stayed in the shop for another half an hour just talking to sam about tattoos and art he was more interested in being friends than just taking my money. its safe to say this is my shop from now on thank you ART&PEOPLE you guys rock!!!!!
