Good local bagel shop. We hit one of the newer places & would like to go to the original. It seemed like they are going for a Panera or Dunkin look. Not a great idea, imo. But what do I know given I do not own hundreds or thousands of sandwich joints. The bagels were good. We both had a wheat everything. I had a chicken salad that was ok. I will not shy away from THB in the future but have many other options that I have not tried yet. I will add that the customer service was great. as happens from time to time, our order was incorrect. They delivered 2 chicken salad sandwiches instead of my wife's turkey sandwich. When we told them, they jumped to the resolution. Apologized without excuses and delivered a fresh turkey sandwich. Then allowed us to take home the incorrect chicken salad bagel. Ordered online the night before for pick up in the morning. Food was prepared, ready for pick up and laid out in a super organized manner making it easy to grab and go. I appreciated the ease of ordering and pick up during these COVID times. The food was ok. As a native New Yorker I'm very particular about my bagels and breakfast sandwiches. My egg and cheese on a bagel was ok but definitely can't be compared to a NY bagel sandwich. It was good though. This is my favorite breakfast place on planet earth and one of my favorite lunch spots. In terms of breakfast sandwiches and omelets, you can't go wrong. Underrated are the lunch offerings for paninis to salads. Order on the app so you can walk right in and grab it from a shelf. Ample free parking on S. Clinton Street. Favorite item is "The Showoff." I love bagels. To be honest, they are probably my favorite type of breakfast food! I feel like you really can't get it wrong. Today I ordered an egg, bacon and cheese bagel on a wheat everything bagel and YUMMM!!! It was delicious!! They were very generous with the amount of bacon they gave. Some places will just give you one or two slices, nope, not this place! And it's cooked to total perfection!! Nice and crispy! I also got the caramel frap....it was good but nothing special. I think it was a bit pricey for the quality of it. But overall, no real complaints with it. THB is an absolute gem and a real winner for delightful bagel breakfast sandwiches! The bagels are a great size, always fresh, and a great, soft consistency. The old bay Asiago bagel is a *must try*. They have so many options for customization as well as vegan options (hello vegan cream cheese! My lactose-intolerant gut rejoices). The prices are reasonable and they are taking good precautions for pick-up/delivery orders during Covid. I love the option to order online so all my sandwich customizations are perfect! Definitely wear your mask because the patio is usually quite crowded. There is parking for you to do pick-up with ease at this location. The worst location ! They have NEVER gotten an order correct. NEVER !!! i ordered a bacon , egg and cheese on blueberry bagel through Uber eats . Same order allllll the time ! I proceeded to call the location s/w Telcin and confirmed my order plus asked about jelly and cream cheese. *she was very sweet and helpful * Delivery comes and when i open my foil i see sausage, egg and cheese. This is NOT what i ordered and paid for. On top of that the sausage is undercooked ! Bagel is dry , entire meal is disgusting. I took one bite out of the bagel and spit it out. Terrible ! Being a Towson grad, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there was more than just the two locations near campus! This location was awesome! There's a FREE parking lot which is unheard of in the city! There's plenty of indoor seating and tons of outdoor seating on the covered patio which overlooks the harbor. After being to NYC and having plenty of friends from NY, to all the bagel snobs I get it all bagels outside of NY suck. Well for what you can find in Baltimore I like this place and the bagels aren't that bad. Standard bagel shop with various options, I generally only go for breakfast so my go to order is coffee and everything bagel with cream cheese or if i'm feeling hungry egg, bacon, and cheese. The coffee here isn't bad on par with rofo. Not as many coffee options like dunkin but good enough. The bagels and sandwiches are good and for the price well worth it. read more

Amazing bagels, extraordinarily rude management. I accidentally picked up an order that was not mine. My partner returned to bring back her half and pick up the correct order and management would not allow her to leave the premises without paying for both orders, including the returned order. This place is good as long as you don't have to talk to the management. THB has the best bagel I've ever had in my life. As we walked up the covered patio seating area I noticed the chalkboard with the daily specials, very nice penmanship. You walk in and order at the counter. The menu was a bit overwhelming for me, but in a good way. Like I wanted to order everything a good way! I ordered the Uncle Gigi. Everything bagel, scooped, skinned and toasted, 2 tbsp chive cream cheese, 2 slices Muenster cheese, sprouts, cucumbers and tomatoes. I have never had a scooped bagel like that before and it was really good. They call your number and you pick up your food at the counter. The bagels there are big, yummy and so fresh when my friend cut into his it was still steaming. The staff was great. Friendly, accommodating and funny. They were busy but you didn't feel like you were waiting long for anything. A steady flow of people in and out. They have it down to a science. I definitely want to go back if I'm ever back in Baltimore. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it. read more

This is one of many locations of Towson Hot Bagels and probably one of the best. The people are extremely friendly and helpful and the bagels are good. Machine made, that is not hand rolled like a great NYC bagel, but always fresh. My standard order of 6 everything bagels and 1/2 lb of scallion cream cheese is a very inexpensive at $15.82 for this quality. My only gripe is I can only get hot out of the oven bagels on Sundays, or so it seems based on my many visits, but they are always fresh and tasty. Mmm finally came here and the bagel sandwiches were sooo good. I got egg, cheddar, and avocado on an Asiago bagel and it was delicious. I will say the bagel was a bit greasy, but if anything, it's my fault for choosing a cheese-based bagel (which was still delicious, just have some napkins ready). They have a huge menu with lots of great bagels, and I can't wait to come back and try more! THB Bagels and Deli is where it's at. Probably the best bagel place in Baltimore. There was a massive line that lead out of the building so I was already intrigued that this many people were interested so I thought it wise to hang out. I got a grilled bagel on a bacon egg and cheese and I was throughly impressed. I should have known the place was the real deal because the line was almost out of the door. But they were adequately staffed and we got through the line in no to time at all. They also have outdoor seating that which was pretty cool. Like i said it was pretty packed in there. I'll be making a quick stop here whenever I find my self in the baltimore area now. read more

THB is my go-to bagel place in Baltimore because I can always rely on getting a good, fresh bagel. My go-to order is always an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and lox. I don't know what it is, but their lox has NEVER let me down. It's always super fresh tasting without any hint of fishiness that I get with a lot of places that serve lox. The scallion cream cheese is delicious as well. The everything bagel is good, but sometimes the everything seasoning is a little skimpy. I like my everything bagels loaded up with the seasoning and the past few times I've been it seems a little skimpy (but could also just be luck of the draw). The only reason I took a star off was because of the service. The service is friendly, but there have been several occasions when my order came out wrong or I received the wrong one. Sometimes it would be forgetting the scallion cream cheese, and one time I received someone else's order. The issue with this, is that I took these orders to go so by time I drove into work I didn't feel like driving out of my way to get a new one. I did come back on one occasion though and they fixed the problem quickly which I appreciated. There is ample seating inside and a parking lot so I have never had an issue with either of those. On a weekend morning though this place really does get busy so be prepared to wait in a decently sized line. read more

My hubby and I have come to THB two separate times for breakfast sandwiches with turkey sausage and cheese on a toasted kaiser. The other two times we visited were ordered and didn't stay to dine in, however we wanted to try something different by staying to dine and thought our experience would mirror the other two. Honestly, this breakfast was an entire fail! Many of the tables were dirty/sticky and we managed to find one booth that met our standards. We chalked the condition up to a busy morning, BIG MISTAKE. We went to the counter and ordered two of the exact same meal- Turkey sausage breakfast sandwiches on a toasted Kaiser roll with egg and cheese and fried potatoes......simple enough, right? NO! When we got back to our table we realized not only were the rolls not toasted and cheese was cold, my husband was missing turkey sausage entirely! I promptly went back to the counter (before hubby took a bite) only to be told "my mistake, I forgot to ring up your turkey sausage" ...then the guy consulted with a woman who told me they'd charge $2.12 for the sauce THEY forgot. We kindly opted out. My husband barely ate and picked apart a plate of mediocrity. If the mistake is on YOU, YOU should fix it.
