As someone who moved to the Baltimore area just a year ago, I was on the hunt for a new local bagel shop. After finally trying THB, I get the hype. I love the variety it offers for both breakfast and lunch. It does get really busy so do try to order ahead. I've tried a few different bagels over several visits and they have all been great. I've also become a big fan of the chicken salad panini and the egg white, cheese and tomato bagel sandwich. I recently also got a bagel box ( 20 bagels, 3 tubs) for a brunch I hosted for friends coming from out of town and it was a huge hit! read more

As a bagel shop: so-so. The flavor is good, and they are one of the few places that provides good coverage of toppings on both sides of the bagel. The Everything bagel flavor is good. They're rarely sold out of any major type of bagel. On the negative side, the texture is wrong: too crispy, not chewy enough. I asked for freezer bags and I got them, but they didn't give me any twist ties. They charge you extra to slice the bagels, which is bullshit. And after I paid extra for them to be sliced, they did a lousy job and the bagels weren't all fully separated, which is an issue if you plan to freeze part of your order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As a lunch spot: pretty good. Plenty of seating both inside and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of menu options. Good deli sandwiches. Good (and unusual) French fries. In general: kind of expensive for what you get. I dislike kiosk ordering and would rather talk to a person, and there are only a couple of kiosks and people are slow (so am I! Kiosks are bad), so it takes a long time to order. It takes a pretty long time for your food to be ready after ordering, too, although in their defense, they're usually VERY busy. read more

THB is a chain around the Baltimore area. I went for the first time w a friend who spoke highly of it, so I was excited! I ordered a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese and shared half a pizza bagel. I also ordered a mango smoothie, but the smoothie was definitely made with syrup rather than fresh mangoes. It was pretty and sweet and watery--it wasn't bad though. The bagel with cream cheese was great! Choosing a bagel and which cream cheese to go with it is always so hard bc I want everything! You might have to stretch the definition of bagel a little bit as these are not exactly traditional New York style bagels but solid enough. An added plus is that the venue is open earlier than the various diners up and down York Road. If you're looking for an early breakfast spot, this is a pretty good choice. Bring your shekels here, as the costs reflect the newness of the venue. My bagel sandwich and a large coffee cost roughly $15, which is a bit pricey for breakfast. Got myself a good egg, turkey sausage, and cheddar cheese sandwich on a cinnamon raisin bagel with peppers and tomatoes. My lady had got a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything wheat bagel and it tasted so good for both of us, probably the best breakfast sandwich on a bagel we've had. I went here for lunch last week as I was craving a bagel with lox. The place was a little busy because it was lunchtime with a moderate noise level, but ordering was mostly efficient as you use a kiosk. I ordered plain bagel with lox and I added onion. it took about maybe eight minutes for me to get my sandwich which is not bad at all for a lunch rush. The bagel was soft with a crisp outer shell. The smoked salmon was little fatty with a few bits that were a little inedible. my sandwich had very little, if any onion on it but I could still taste the flavor. The sandwich was just OK, but the staff were nice and the place was efficient. I'll probably try them again if I'm in the area, but I'll order something else. read more

Stopped at THB for the first time for a quick breakfast and got an everything bagel with lox and cream cheese and a medium coffee. They had a huge variety of bagel options from hot bagel sandwiches to blueberry bagels. There seemed to be multiple options for both savory and sweet bagel lovers. For my lox and cream cheese bagel, I added on capers, tomatoes, onion and lettuce for no extra cost. The slices of lox were rather large and there was plenty of cream cheese. I found some bites of the bagel to be rather salty due to the capers not being evenly distributed, but otherwise, it was a really good bagel. Orders can be made on the kiosks at the front of the shop. The shop was very crowded, but my bagel order was finished in a timely manner. I stopped at THB for a quick lunch several months ago on a Thursday. I placed my order at the kiosk and paid. The order seemed to take longer than I anticipated (maybe 15-20 minutes), but employees were helpful and answered all my questions. I had the Corned Beef sandwich ($9.75). I wasn't thrilled to see the .75 add on charge for the Asiago bagel or the $1.10 to add mozzarella as I believe a sandwich should be one inclusive price. Overall, the sandwich was fresh and tasted good. I only wish the fixings bar included spicy brown mustard! Regular yellow mustard is so bland and basic! My total was $12.30. A bit high for a bagel sandwich, but maybe normal for the suburban Baltimore area. I might be willing to try it again some day, but will know to get there earlier because the place fills up and is popular with locals. read more

The only downside to this location is their iced latte is not great. The THB in CV makes a pretty great one. They make fresh bagels. I mean what is there not to like about that? I loved the bagel that I got. It was exactly what I wanted. It was fresh and crunchy. It had sprouts, guacamole, cream cheese, cheese, tomato, and cucumbers on a freshly toasted everything bagel. The guacamole was perfectly seasoned. It was just the right amount of saltiness and had a splash of lime justice which added a nice acidity to the meal. I loved all the fresh crunch from the vegetables. The sprouts were the perfect touch to the sandwich. My husband got the old bay bagel with cream cheese and that was really good too! The bagel had a subtle taste of old bay. Wow. Crazy crowded and super automated. My wife and I went on a Monday brunch time when schools were closed. Massive crowds in and out and standing and seated. Definitely better to order ahead, as many seemed to do. Three kiosk to punch in one's order with employees eager to assist. The wait was not overly long and the coffee was hot. We each ordered the everything bagel egg cheese with pork roll. It was hot and soft and fine except that the pork roll was limp and soggy as if microwaved and popped into the bagel at the last minute. I prefer my pork roll slices fried and hard. I'll not order it again. The facility is clean and well lighted with lots of tables and a few outside. There are plenty parking spaces within the shopping center, but not so many HC spots. It's in our neighborhood, so chances are we'll be back...but at a time and with an order more to our liking. read more

I've had issues with this THB in the past and decided to give them another try...somehow they managed to fail me again. How do you forget the tomato in an egg white, cheese and tomato sandwich? This is my favorite THB location. The staff is always so friendly and greets you with a smile when you walk in. We of course, love their bagels and order them at least weekly. I now go to THB somewhat regularly, either the Towson or Timonium locations. Service is great, whether I order in person at the kiosk or online and it's ready when I arrive. The bagels are great; I usually go for the asiago or everything but a little while ago, got the asiago Old Bay...a mouthful of flavor in that one! I often get the Skinny Ham but have had the Bacon, Egg & Cheese, the Tuna Melt and others. Never disappointed. I'm in the food business and the challenges are staggering these days; but they still manage to produce the orders in a timely fashion, their staff are more than pleasant, and I can say I've never had less than a good meal and a good experience. read more

I got cornered by the woman with whom I placed an order, who gave me her business card for her MLM. I was like wtff....I was fine until she said it was for fertility and specifically said "all women should have babies." Then I get my bagel, and she had one job- put the cream cheese parts together, not on top of each other! Who does that?? The spineless manager took the MLM card. I had to ask for a refund 4 times and he finally just refunded my bagel, not the iced coffee. A place full of fools, run by an incompetent clown. Awful experience. read more

More than one line going at a time. Cashiers not too familiar with what they have. I ordered a twisted everything bagel. Receipt didn't say twisted, so I expected an everything bagel. Got a something bagel. Seems like it has sesame seeds and maybe poppy seeds. While I didn't expect gummy bears and dried tomato, I thought there would be more. When I arrive to pick up the order at the designated time, which has been charged to my credit card, I am informed that they have no bagels for me, since they "ran out"!! I ordered 2 days in advance and I get no call, no text, no email that the bagels I need for the family party are gone to others. How thoroughly unprofessional!
