I am posting this review after first attempting to address the issue privately by messaging Edward through his website. After several weeks without a response, I am sharing our experience. My fiancé and I purchased a home near the Russian River in early 2022. In December 2022, we hired Gunneau's Home Services through Thumbtack to install a chandelier. Edward arrived with a younger helper. After installation, the light was briefly turned on and off, confirmed working, and we paid between $1,000-$2,000 for the service. Within a few weeks, the chandelier caused the breaker to trip repeatedly when in use. Unsure of the cause, we stopped using it. Later that year, a licensed electrician evaluated the issue. We were informed that the chandelier had not been properly supported and was hanging by the electrical wiring rather than being secured by the mounting chain. By that point, the fixture was no longer usable. Recently, the chandelier detached and fell, shattering into our kitchen and dining area. This prompted us to document the issue and post this review. He fixed two towel racks, a laundry sliding door off its track, a bathroom drawer that lost one of its tracks, and a tile that had come off the bathroom counter. Ed's a smart guy. Almost 100% sure he fixed a leak that was supposed to have been fixed 2 times before? So far so good and I can use my bath again. He also offered to come back, if there's still an issue. Wouldn't charge the estimate fee again, of $175.00. Which wasn't too bad, compared to other prices I was quoted.
