What an amazing experience... Five stars is just not enough... Wolffer Estate Vineyard was the…read moreperfect winery for my wife and me. It is also a perfect winery for larger groups as they have an indoor and outdoor tasting area. This place is just beautiful. We sat on the porch looking out over the vineyard like we were in the Alexander Valley. Honestly, we have done the North Fork trail more but will now be a SOFO family as well. Helene and I both enjoy a good Chardonnay and "Wolffer's Pearl" is great, A chard with tremendous body and depth. We had the honor of being on a European Wine Cruise with the wine maker. Roman Roth [and his wife]. He had multiple wine dinners where we had an opportunity to try some of these new red and white wines and really took a liking to them. We joined their wine club as soon as we returned home so we'll have more to enjoy during the year. Let me be honest... I have been drinking and collecting Roman Roth wines for years now and have always enjoyed them. The team that took care of us was amazing. Nothing but smiles and service. We were very lucky to have the opportunity to experience this wonderful visit. The only downside is that the drive from mid-island to the Hamptons can get a little long. This was a small price to pay for the wonderful experience we had. KUDOs to the team at Wolffer Estate Vineyard

Two of got the Tasting Flights which were 4 sampling of certain wines and the other had a sparking rose, Oblisse. We shared the Host Board, The Triple Cheese Plate, Baked Brie Baguette, and the Honey Ricotta, I drank the Art of the Blend which was wonderful. The ambience was still from the Christmas decorations which made the hall festive and romantic. The service.by Layla, was professional yet warm and personal. We went to the Boutique on the way out to get a few cases of wine. Obviously we will be back.

The property has a relaxed coastal feel while still offering the comfort and service you expect from a high-end resort. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is welcoming, and the attention to detail makes the stay feel easy. What I loved most was that it felt like Montauk itself -- laid-back, beautiful, and unhurried. A great choice for a beach getaway and a place I'd happily return to.

Starting with the room, the size was good, but it could have been cleaner. I noticed some dust and dirt in the corners, and the room felt like it could use an update. The coffee machine looked older and wasn't very clean, the refrigerator wasn't working properly, and there wasn't an ice machine nearby--you have to call the front desk for ice. At night, the room wasn't very soundproof. You can hear footsteps from the room above, along with other noises, so if you're a light sleeper, it's something to keep in mind. On the weekend, the hotel was lively because of a wedding and the nightclub. There was music until around midnight, and when guests left, the noise from the cars made it difficult to get a full night's sleep. The food and drinks were very good, although they were on the expensive side. I was happy with the quality of the dining experience. Most of the staff were fine, though I noticed a few employees who seemed less welcoming. Thankfully, everyone I interacted with was polite. The overall atmosphere was the highlight of my stay. The property has a beautiful, relaxing vibe with a classy crowd, and I especially loved the morning yoga classes. I spent about $5,000 for a two-night stay, so I expected a more luxurious room experience. Mine was one of the more affordable room categories, and it didn't feel especially upscale for the price. Next time, I would probably visit for the food, drinks, beach, or spa day pass instead of staying overnight. If you're looking for a lively resort with plenty of events and activities, this is a great choice. If you're looking for a very quiet hotel, you may want to consider other options.
