Unfortunately, that recommendation turned into a major regret. My coworker dropped off his firearm in October 2024, paid money up front, and since then has received nothing but excuse after excuse with no real answers about status or completion. Despite remaining extremely patient and understanding throughout the process, he has still been unable to get any meaningful communication. At one point, he even offered to completely walk away from the work and simply have his equipment returned, but that has not happened either. I'm writing this because I genuinely feel terrible for recommending this business in the first place. I personally am not financially affected, but my coworker is, and judging by the other reviews, he is clearly not alone in this experience. If this business is no longer operating properly, the right thing to do would be to be honest with customers, release a public apology, return people's property, and move forward. Accountability and communication would go a long way at this point.

They aren't going to magically go faster just because you are in a hurry. Have realistic expectations, have your forms of IDs in order, and you'll be good to go to buy your gun. Additionally, the archery and fishing departments have very knowledgeable staff and are a huge wealth of information.

I feel like that can vary from shop to shop, so I wanted to make sure I came prepared. I didn't realize how busy this place gets. I walked in and checked in at the door using the laptop, and there were about 10 people or parties ahead of me. I ended up waiting around 30 to 40 minutes, which wasn't too bad considering how busy they were. Andre helped me with everything and made the process pretty easy. I took the FSC test there, and he was also super helpful when I was deciding which Beretta I wanted. Overall, it was a really good experience purchasing a firearm here. Pickup was just as easy. I went when they opened and there was no wait, even though I had an appointment scheduled for a later time. I was in and out pretty quickly, which was nice. My only complaint is more about the customers than the store. If you're planning to purchase a firearm, I'd recommend doing some research beforehand on what documents you need and whether you're legally able to purchase one. I saw someone spend quite a bit of time looking at different pistols and optics, only to find out they couldn't make a purchase. I feel like knowing this ahead of time would save both the customer and employees some time. One thing to keep in mind is that they do have an appointment system, and you can also join the virtual line through their website. I didn't know that before going, so definitely something I'll take advantage of next time. Overall, really good experience and I'll definitely be coming back.

The wait was ridiculously long, and let's just say some of the employees seemed pretty impressed with themselves. I left thinking, "Yeah...probably not coming back." But a friend told me they had changed their system, so I decided to give them another shot and I'm glad I did. You can now make a reservation for your DROS and firearm pickup, which makes the whole process SO much smoother. No more wondering if you should've packed lunch and a sleeping bag for the wait. Even better, the staff has become much friendlier and more welcoming. It really feels like they listened to customer feedback and made some major improvements.
