I got tired of pulling a number and waiting long periods only to be met with a great deal of impatience for any questions or lackluster service. Then I found Bryant at Terran Gear USA who really made the rest of my research and buying experience smooth and helpful as possible. He answered all of my questions, explained everything clearly, and made the process as easy as possible. He was able to get my purchase in stock within a week when other big name stores were giving estimates of 1-3 months. Bryant spent as much time as I needed for me to be comfortable and trained me on topics such as basic handling, maintenance/cleaning, proper grip/form, customizations, and so forth. He gave me a heads up on everything I needed to bring for each visit and stayed in communication the entire time. He is also appointment only, so no more pulling numbers, waiting for long periods, and hoping you get someone who is actually helpful. I have been shooting for a while and my gun buying experience has ranged from big box stores (Turners and Bass Pro) to buying online and having it shipped to FFLs. I was never really impressed with level of customer service received, adequate is a term I would use to describe my buying experience . Buying a firearm is expensive and for first time buyers can be a very intimidating experience. Terran Gear provides an exceptional experience. Appointments (1 hour long) are required and that is your time to use however you want. Terran Gear provides a safe place to ask questions and not feel rushed at all. His prices are very competitive as well. I highly recommend going with Terran Gear as a first time buyer. I can't express the joy I feel when an FFL establishes ground on the front lines behind enemy lines. We often times get lulled into the conveniences of the modern-day with websites like Amazon that feed into the growing lack of patience consumers have. As the 2A industry grows, it begins to follow that model. There are big websites out there that offer deals that are unbeatable and fulfillment speeds that are more convenient than driving to a local spot even though the point of origin is across the country. Terran Gear is a reminder that we all have to start some where, and it can be quite the risk. It's always nice to see where things begin, and support those really trying to get a foothold in an industry in a location that's trying to kill it. I've seen the humble beginnings of shops like Riflegear, Shoot Socal, etc..., and I hope that this business grows to multiple locations and training facilities. The 2A battle in CA is a tough one, but nothing good comes easy. We need all the help we can get, and Terran Gear is there to help us. great experience, picked up a Radian Ramjet and it came quick. For some reason there's a lot of FFL's that come off intimidating or cold, but that's the exact opposite with Bryant at Terran Gear.
