I am reading these reviews of The Aji Network and feel compelled to add my concurrence with the observations offered here. I currenly hold the role of Vice President of Product Management for The Sente Group, Inc., which for our company means that I am responsible for the design, development, delivery, support and producing satisfaction with the tools and pratices that enable production of the results our offer promises. When I was introduced to The Aji Network I was very skeptical. I simply did not believe that they could produce the results they were promising - and, frankly, they appeared to me to be somewhat arrogant (though I did not have a well thought out description of what I meant by "arrogant"). I had been to many other "business training" seminars and workshops that promised results but the outcomes for me were usually pretty disappointing. However, within two years of beginning to work with the Aji Network I was able to increase my base income 108% and position myself to participate in a significant portion of future profits as well as increases in enterprise value. It is clear to me that I would not have been able to produce this situation without the fundamental knowledge of business concerns and strategies offered by Toby Hecht and the Aji Network. In today's global marketplace the computer enables competitors all over the world to compete in markets with products and offers that would have been impossible only a few short years ago. In many industires it no longer matters where you are located geographically. Today, I hold the title of Strategic Business Development Manager with Sypris Test & Measurement. I received my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona and had spent the early part of my career moving from design engineer to leading large groups of engineers on development teams. The Aji Network is "uncommon." You will see this word on the website, as well as hear this word spoken often as you interact with Toby Hecht, Greg Scharnagl, the Aji students, and alum of any of its programs. By definition the word "uncommon" means that is it not for everyone. If it was for everyone, then it would no longer be uncommon. Therefore, based on statistics of who will read this post, the Aji Network is then likely not for you. I am a business owner, employing about 30 people as of today (6/10). I actively seek to hire the smartest, most creative, most passionate, and most ethical employees I can find. I came into the Aji Network at the recommendation of one of my top performers in my firm. I was a skeptic at first. However, after nearly two years of study with this group, I fully acknowledge the value of the material that I have learned and the powerfully high caliber of many of the people who are long-time members of the program. The proof is in the incomes that go up... and up... and up. The coursework is certainly uncommon. I took AJI for 1 year and then left even though my company was willing to pay for the 2nd year in full including airfare (as our VP was a fan at the time). I'm very glad I left The AJI Network owners are experts at creating both mystique and intrigue of their purported amazing and brilliant incites, All the while they keep plugging you with cult like propaganda: the real Rosetta stone of success is coming (next stage), so many at AJI became super rich, AJI shares valuable incites never found in all world's great journals, MBAs etc. The classes are largely rubbish from a content perspective. The material they actually present is mundane and riddled with self fulfilling logic/arguments. Eg: to win more business, make superior offers... satisfy your customers beyond your competitors to gain trust etc. As a student, you are made to read text and passages from unrecognized sources on esoteric topics which deliver muddled non-value added logic (at best). Its unfortunately sad from a content perspective. AJI does however prepare, present and sell itself extremely well. Its a cult ambiance where participants are ever enthralled in the promise of business intellectual elitism and financial success/wealth. Toby (CEO) is a master at controlling the audience by applying strict rules, condescending arrogance, fowl language, and dogmatic righteous assertions . The wanna-bees in the audience absorb the aura - feeling ever more chosen, ever more destined to achieve wealth. They leave the long sessions with buzz phrases much akin to a sermon or political speech (and recall here how for both you often feel satisfied when hearing it live, but when you start to think about it offline its idealistic/hollow/vague). All the while interjected in the 'learning' where the teacher (Toby) purports he is all about knowledge, the messaging less than subtlety grows: expand your AJI business network, commit to giving AJI a lifetime income royalty, get more AJI recruits, sign up for more AJI events. In the end, its not a ponzi scheme as someone mentioned, but AJI is indeed a cult. One's acceptance is as a religion (based on belief). AJI's 'facts' are highly suspect (think Scientology here) and its teaching are sadly obvious and/or non-actionable (eg: to win the race, run faster than everyone else). read more
