I have super sensitive, acne-prone skin, so I'm really careful with what I put on my face, but she's been amazing. My skin has never looked this clear, healthy, and glowy before. She's so knowledgeable and really takes the time to make sure everything works for your skin specifically instead of just pushing products or treatments. She's also just the sweetest person and makes every appointment feel so relaxing and comfortable. The whole place is amazing, and I've loved all of the products she's recommended too. I honestly trust her completely with my skin, especially leading up to my wedding. Could not recommend Jennifer and Glow Skin Care enough!

The spa itself is incredibly clean, cozy, and relaxing, and the private parking made it super convenient to get in and out. I booked the detox body wrap and was blown away--I lost almost 5 inches in just one hour! My aesthetician was so knowledgeable and made me feel completely taken care of. She also gave me a BioRePeel treatment that left my skin instantly brighter, smoother, and glowing with little to no downtime. We paired it with microcurrent, which helped lift and tone my skin beautifully. I seriously can't wait to come back. Highly recommend Glow Skincare to anyone looking for real results and a relaxing, results-driven experience. And I'm so excited they'll be offering IV hydration soon--that's definitely my next appointment!

I had the Facial Bliss ($85) appropriately done by Katherine Bliss-Jones (Kit)…read more I appreciate when someone who's about to work on my mug, sits me down to discuss the treatment and find out my concerns and skin issues. I had acne that I treated with my go-to "harsher the better" philosophy: Retin-A, Accutane, Oxycycline, Pro-Active, and so on. Now my face is pissed off at me and refuses to produce oil like a normal person. Dry as hell yet very, very oily. Kit lovingly listened to me and told me what she recommended for the facial, which I agreed to. The space for the facial was absolutely peaceful, super-clean, and wholesome. I began to feel like I was in Lothlorien, and upon another glance at Kit I saw striking physical similarities to Galadriel as played by Cate Blanchett. Kit's hands gently cleansed my skin, and prepped me for a soothing steam. Truthfully, after this point I just began to surrender to the facial and just relax instead of analyze and fear. I remember her loving hands attending to my face like some sort of sacred ritual. It was filled with beautiful scents, gentle sweeping movements, calming massage, and utter peace. She added a hand and wrist rejuvenation treatment that included massage, essential oil, and warm mitt infusion. Then she told me that she would throw in an eyebrow design as well. Good right? I started freaking out because this Korean girl's been blessed with a moon-face that was considered beautiful in 16th century Korea, but in this age makes her want to grow grow grow her eyebrows to make her face look smaller so birds birds stop flying into my head. I told Kit my fears and she totally understood and told me what she was going to do and why. Kit used hard wax which I love b/c of the lack of pain and the gentle stripping off the skin. It felt great and I just hoped for the best and relaxed into it. After a soothing crystal mask and some other treatments, she propped me up and said, "now for the best part." Uh, typically that statement is not one I associate with Lydia sans makeup but what the hell I grabbed the mirror and inspected my bliss-facialed face. Holy mother of Jesus, my eyebrows were freaking perfect. I guess in my effort to use my eyebrows to make my face look smaller, they had gotten Wookie on me. But now, wow, Kit made my top arch higher and cleaned the under and some other stuff that made my eyebrows frame my eyes and face much better. The skin on my face didn't look angry anymore. It looked nourished like it had just taken a deep drink from the fountain of Galadriel. I had that glow and even the muscles on my face had softened. I looked and felt serene. I guess I was tense before I got there and didn't even know it. What can I say to sum up this wonderful experience? I came for a basic facial and I left feeling nurtured and peace by Kit's loving tending to. It's like I thought I was just going to get a sip of water, but I ended up with a wholesome and thorough satiation. I highly recommend Galadriel's blissful facial!

There's a three-step process you handle before she gets started (while I won't get into the details I will say that having took a low-dose edible before for the pain I was slightly overwhelmed by the steps). There's also a breathing technique that I was at first a little thrown off by (it involves eye contact) but it was one of the least painful waxes I've ever had (also, her attention to detail and three-step process has made for bump-free results). I'm thrilled to have found a waxed as professional as her!

I've had Julie two years in a row now and she is just so sweet and amazing at her work--highly recommend her! She does a great Swedish with hot stones......... They offered us oranges and water afterward which was a nice touch, and the location is top-tier since you can just walk to lunch or wherever you're going next. Definitely a yearly tradition for us now. Thank you everyone!

I called to make an appointment for this birthday and owner, Jin, was super responsive and communicative. We scheduled a 75 min hot stone massage, but when I chatted with Lillie about areas of the body to focus on, she customized the massage to my needs and didn't end up using the hot stones, other than a few as heating elements to rest on my body. She and Jin were so kind to adjust the price down as the massage I got was a bit cheaper. As a fitness instructor, I love anatomy and learning about the human body. Lillie is beyond knowledgeable, and super passionate about what she does. I told her that I sometimes get tension between my eyes and she explained that it could come from my eyeglass prescription being slightly off, or it could come from jaw tension and tension in my neck and pectoral muscles! Fascinating! It all makes sense. Loved Lillie's energy and her balance of gentle and firm massage. This sweet spa is conveniently located in downtown Healdsburg, across from the Police Station, just tucked down an alley. The space was clean and peaceful. I can't wait to go back! I won't wait another year, that's for sure!

When we arrived, we had the pleasure of being welcomed by Jose in person, and it was one of the best hotel-front-desk interactions I've had. He is a fantastic ambassador for this one-of-a-kind hotel. We loved the mineral baths, the holistic rooms, and the freshly made wellness drinks from the bar. We arrived before check in time (which is 4:00). Upon arrival, they informed us that our room wasn't ready yet but we could use the pools until it was. We went ahead and were immediately impressed with all 3 pools. When we hadn't heard back by 3:45, I went back to the front desk and they checked us in. We stayed for 2 nights. Here are my pros and cons from our visit: Pros: Grounds: the grounds are nice and well kept. Pools: All three pools were clean and exactly as advertised online. The chaise lounges/seating near the pool offered ample lounging space and shade. The adult only area had a lush garden and cozy seating. They have a few pool noodles on hand but I recommend bringing your own if you enjoy using one. Staff/service: Excellent ! When we arrived and checked in, we were greeted with warmth and welcoming. I'd say that there was not one unfriendly staff member. I have to mention that Chris, in particular, was very attentive and accommodating to us and all other guests we saw interact with him. Much appreciated, especially as all Calistoga lost power which slightly displaced our plans for a few hours. Room: As soon as we walked in you could smell how clean it was. We had a courtyard view King room. We appreciated all of the special touches including the cute, retro mini fridge, the oil diffuser, and the extra large bath towels. The bed was very comfortable as well. Food/drinks: It makes it extra special to be able to order food/drinks to be delivered to you poolside. We loved that! We had two breakfasts. My favorite was the breakfast sandwich with bacon. We loved the cocktails, too. Cons: Construction noise: Indian Springs is expanding their resort which means, eventually, they will be directly across the street. The construction noise was a bit alarming when we were vacationing and wanting to sleep in. Luckily I brought ear plugs so it didn't bother me too much. It didn't take away much from our trip and I'm hopeful it actually boosts this wonderful establishment in the future. Day use guests: this may be nitpicking but it upset me enough to mention it. My husband was using a chaise lounge with an umbrella next to it. A couple showed up and proceeded to take the umbrella from where he was seated and moving it to their spot. When my husband explained that he was using it, they replied that they had "paid for it" and continued to move it away from our spot. They ended up being moved to another "reserved" spot and they did the same thing to another couple. The lack of social etiquette was unfortunate. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here and will return. *Another side note is that they are a dog friendly hotel (we have a dog but didn't bring him in this trip).
