I didn't have to wait. The staff poked me a few times (about 82 times) and generated a report. Then, the doctor came in to explain the results and the next step. There were two options, daily drop under the tongue or weekly shots. I thought it was bothersome and expensive for daily dose, nearly $400 for 3 months. He said weekly shots are about the same price. Treatments would last 3 years or longer. I told him I can't do it now because I have some major events I need to attend. He said it would take time to formulate the serum anyway. I was happy that test was done with no side effects. But I am in pain for my wallet. Upon check out, I almost fall to the floor. They charged over $600, including copay for the test. I didn't get any warning. Ugh. I'm so upset and not going back again. I can't afford to get the shots, not even one drop. Tomorrow is the first, the rent needs to be paid. Dr.Chen and Dr.Chou are the best doctors there! They listen and do not rush questions. Lorraine, who works in the front office, is always very helpful as well. If for some reason your insurance provider does not cover medication that was prescribed from SWAA, they are more than happy to find other solutions or a lower costing medication.
